The place does need renovation but you'll notice that the animals are well taken care of. I am amazed how big the salt water crocodiles are! Speaking of renovation, the railings and barricades of the crorodiles are secured. You're totally safe. :) Staffs are suuuper friendly and helpful. One of them actually escorted me to the bus terminal since I was a solo traveller. Thank you! :) Please support this establishment! The more tourists they get, the more funds they'll have for maintenance.

The Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (Crocodile Farm) is an amazing place to learn about wildlife conservation while seeing crocodiles up close! The experience was both educational and exciting — from seeing baby crocodiles in the hatchery to the huge adults in the enclosures. The guided tour was informative, and the staff clearly care about protecting endangered species and educating visitors about the importance of wildlife preservation. Aside from crocodiles, there are also other animals like birds and endemic species found only in Palawan, which made the trip even more interesting. The place is well-maintained, and it’s great for families, students, and anyone who loves nature and animals. Visiting here not only gives you a fun and memorable experience but also helps support conservation efforts in Palawan. Definitely worth a stop when exploring Puerto Princesa

Google
Really nice place to visit to get a feeling of what kind of animals lives in the nature here in the Philippines. The place does not offer a lot, but there is free guided tour which takes 15-20 minutes and a lot of information regarding the preservation of crocodiles and other wildlife. It is cheap and easy to find and well worth a visit if you are visiting the Puerto Princesa area and need a place to go for a few hours. The place needs a loving hand regarding renovation, but with all the storms hitting the islands, it is understandably difficult to maintain.

This place calls itself a “rescue center” and a crocodile farm, but what we saw was absolutely horrifying. The entrance fee is super cheap(around 50 pesos), and right at the entrance visitors are offered to take photos with a baby crocodile whose mouth is taped shut. We suspect the animal is kept like wholesale day. The zoo itself looks abandoned, like a post-apocalyptic place. Many paths and enclosures are closed or destroyed. We only saw a few birds, a couple of snakes, some turtles, crocodiles, two bearcats, and one thin, starving wild boar with visible ribs. None of the animals had visible water bowls, despite the extreme heat. The enclosures were dirty, with rotting banana peels left inside. Crocodiles were sitting in filthy muddy puddles. The overall feeling was deeply disturbing - it felt more like a concentration camp for animals than a rescue center. What is especially weird is the number of staff members casually chatting and “working” there while animals are clearly suffering from neglect. This place urgently needs an official inspection. What is happening here looks like animal abuse and neglect, not rescue or conservation. That’s so unfair!

Google
Palawan Wildlife Rescue is an okay experience overall. The guide was very informative and shared a lot of interesting facts about the animals, which made the visit worthwhile. However, the place could really benefit from some rehabilitation — a bit of repainting, repairs, and general upkeep would make a big difference. The zoo area could also be cleaner to make the environment more pleasant for both visitors and the animals. Still a decent stop if you’re already in the area, but there’s room for improvement.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center is best known for its crocodile farm, but it’s also home to other fascinating animals like the bearcat, peacock, and eagle. The tour was fun and informative — our guide was hilarious and shared lots of interesting facts! You can even hold a baby crocodile for a photo. The animals look well cared for and the place is worth a visit when in Puerto Princesa. 🌿 Tip: bring a fan or mini fan and payong, it can get really hot in the afternoon! ☀️

Google
Very nice place. Lots of Information given by the guide. Plenty of saltwater and freshwater Crocs to see. Pay a little extra and get to hold a baby croc and have pics. There are also other animals to see here including snakes, birds and more.

Google
Appreciate the conservation they are doing here. Cages or pens are clean and sanitized. The staffs look like they genuinely care about the animals. Our guide was informative and funny as well. I just hope they could improve and maintain the place more. There are a lot of vacant areas that can be developed to attract more visitors. The Nature Park looks more like a haunted forest than a park 😢 And it was home to just 2 types of animals. Tourists won't mind paying more if it means the travel to this part of Puerto Prinsesa is worth it.

Yelp
This place is pretty cool. It's hot as heck but hey it's the Philippines. Once you enter they send you over to get your ticket. Couldn't beat the price for two people. While you wait for your tour guide they have plenty of shops to visit. Once the tour begins they will give your a brief summary of the place and history. Once you get past the hatchlings area you're on your own to tour the facilities. Make sure you take a nice camera to get those pics of the animals. Once you're done don't forget to get your pic with the baby crocodile. A must visit if you're in the area . PS. Don't forget to use off so many bugs here.

Yelp
We had the option during the city tour to visit the Crocodile farm or the Butterfly Gardens. Our group picked the butterfly gardens during the tour but we had time on our last day in Palawan so we went to the crocodile farm also. I actually enjoyed my visit. It is very short. You can be in and out in 30 minutes so don't expect much. They rescue all the animals in this farm but they do look sad. I hope they release them soon. I held the baby crocodile at the end for the photo op. It was cute. It's a nice quick option to go see if you are in the area.

Yelp
There are some BIG Crocs here! Ay nako, MALAKI!!! Found in the outskirts of Puerta Princesa Palawan, it is an easy drive to get here from downtown. Road conditions aren't too bad for travel. It is nice to know there are efforts to rescue and conserve the beauties of nature here on the island, too. There is admission/"tour" prices but well worth it, especially if it helps maintain their efforts to preserve the indigenous wildlife. Tours run every 30 minutes from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Really, there's only one time the guide interacts with you, and that's at the very beginning. Otherwise you are on your own to roam the grounds. There is someone to answer questions at the big croc pits but everywhere else, it's posted signs that offer info. Now, in those croc pits, there are some HUGE crocodiles hanging out. Walking on the raised walkways, the thought of "please, I don't want to fall in THERE!" crossed my mind every time there was a shake, but it was all good. It's REALLY impressive to see the size of these things up close. It woulda been cool to see a Filipino version of the Crocodile Hunter doin' somethin' but no demonstrations like those seen in the Crocodile Hunter Show or what I saw at Gatorland in Florida. They just be chillin' here... motionless today. Maybe call ahead & see when the next feeding time for the crocs is, to plan things out. After that, there are photo ops with live baby crocs you get to hold! Eeks!!! Gotta build up that courage to put those things around yur neck! Pics for purchase are actually nice mementos. There is a Nature Walk where other rescued animals & birds are contained. Birds are much easier to visualize than the animals. The Palawan porcupine & bearcat were difficult to catch glimpses of, and we were there in the early afternoon. Fun excursion for our family. Good tourist stop in Palawan :)

Yelp
This under appreciated zoo is a conservation wonder of native animals and vegetation. The star of the place is the enormous collection of fresh water and salt water crocodiles. A guided tour takes the guest through the various areas from the breeding areas to where the big crocs are kept.

Yelp
When I was young the thought of going to Palawan's Crocodile Farm was terrifying, I seriously thought that there was a big chance that I'd be eaten or killed by a crocodile. Well, I was an imaginative kid to say the least. I knew of the itinerary weeks before our trip and I did let my imagination run wild. I didn't expect to see such a neat, orderly and not to mention safe place to see and observe the crocodiles. It was amazing to be able to see those huge and majestic creatures at a safe distance. They have a very informative tour which would tell you why they have a farm there, some very useful information about crocodiles and of course my favourite part, walking on a bridge with crocodiles beneath you, it so looked like it was from a movie -sort of. I think it's a fun and educational thing to do while you're there enjoying the beauty of Palawan.

Yelp
Kind of depressing. The animals are rescues so at least they were not captured in the wild but they generally look like rescues (sad, depressed). About 1/3 of cages were empty--not because the animals were not there, they were abandoned cages. The place is run down. I know its part of the city tour so you may not have to choice to go there but I would not pay any more to go here. There were a lot of crocs but it seems like there were too many and the guides were not good at answering questions. Overall, it seemed like a sad place to go to and I would not go back.
