Palazzo Albricci Peregrini - Como (Como, Lake Como) 40 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"It’s no secret that some of the most extravagant hotels in the world line the shores of Lake Como itself, but in the town of Como it’s possible to hide away in a hotel that’s a little less conspicuous. And while the Palazzo Albricci Peregrini is an exceedingly private place, tucked safely away from prying eyes, the experience it offers is no less extraordinary than that of its more ostentatious neighbors." - Tablet Hotels

High recommend Palozzo Albricci Peregrini. The hotel is privately owned and very cozy. The service is bespoke and also location is amazing, just at the centre of Como town. Very happy that room was ready for us when we arrived in the morning after a long haul flight. We also got an upgrade, which was so amazing. The room is spacious and thoughtfully designed. Despite it being a historic building, nothing feels old, everything is very well maintained, including flushing power of toilet, water pressure. The breakfast was so amazing and it’s probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had, with so many options served to be step by step, instead of a buffet. Everything is so fresh! The staff are all very hospitable, kind and caring. I will definitely come back!

Absolutely beautiful property. Large and spacious room overlooking the garden. Felt very quiet and private. Staff could not have been more welcoming. I was so impressed by the attention to detail (design, decor as well as service). The breakfast was spectacular! The array of food and the fact every morsel was homemade and exquisitely presented... utterly wonderful. I thoroughly loved my stay.

We had a great stay in our room, La Scrustada. Large bedroom, 2 full beds which were comfortable (wasn't sure if a king room bed would be big enough). Excellent bathroom, one sink but other stands to place toiletries. AC was fine. Quiet, although, our room was on the courtyard, so you hear the clinking of plates at 0700 as they set up for breakfast. You're up, but breakfast doesn't start til 0800.|Nice breakfast with some interesting choices. |We came on a national holiday and market day, so we couldn't drive to the hotel. We had to park at the municipal parking garage (which you would have to do anyway) and then take our bags to the hotel. Fortunately, it was sunny, because no Uber or taxis were available. After 4 connections and cancellations on Uber/taxi, we decided to walk.|After the parking hassle, we had the hotel arrange for a private driver to take us to the dock at 0915, for our 7 hour private boat tour with Lake Como Water Taxi.|Cristian met us in a BMW 7, and was great. He met us at 1630 when we returned. Highly recommend using him. Boat tour was great as well. No lines to wait on, faster than a ferry.|The room pictures are nice, but the actual room is better than what you see.|Our friends stayed in another room and didn't hear the breakfast set up. They really like their room as well.

5 Stars – An Unforgettable Stay at Palazzo Albricci Palazzo Albricci is an absolute gem! Quaint and cozy with authentic architecture beautifully blended with modern touches, it’s the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for charm, comfort, and top-notch service. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room spacious and thoughtfully designed, and the amenities were everything you could hope for in a boutique hotel. The staff was perfection—truly above and beyond. From helping me book a restaurant reservation to sending clear, detailed instructions on how to find the check-in desk, they made every part of my stay effortless. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a welcome drink and helpful local recommendations that added so much to my trip. And the breakfast—wow. It’s a full-on experience! You’re served multiple courses, each presented beautifully with the option to choose what you like. Every bite was fresh, homemade, and sourced locally. It felt luxurious yet only took about 30 minutes, so you can still get out early and explore the area. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Staying at Palazzo Albricci was a truly unforgettable experience. Five stars, without hesitation!

A beautiful, comfortable and welcoming hotel with easy access to restaurants, bars & waterfront activities but that is also well ‘hidden away’… a real gem! The breakfasts are stunning and supper’s of good quality too. Really there is nothing to complain about… bravi! ⭐️

From the second we walked through the entrance we were blown away. The directions to reception were clear and we were warmly greeted by Julie with a blazing fire, drinks and homemade biscuits. ||We were offered an upgrade and shown the various rooms to choose from and found each room staggeringly beautiful. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and it is clear how much thought went into everything.||We had aperitivo in the alcove with the chessboard and the drinks, snacks & service were incredible.||The honesty bar was a lovely little addition for a nightcap.||The breakfast was an amazing experience. The five courses were delicious and each course was impeccably presented and explained.||The staff throughout were amazing and Julie in particular was very helpful and welcoming.||Highly recommend and we hope to visit again in the Spring/Summer to enjoy the garden.
