Amazing hotel and staff. We had a balcony room overlooking the river and it was a stunning view. Rooms were very nice and well maintained. Staff gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant as well since ours was far and theirs was much more convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel. And their breakfast, incredible.

We stayed here five nights. The location is great. That's it. The ladies at the reception desk are not very friendly, feels like the guests are bothering them by checking in or out. The worst was the room. We had booked a so called "premium" one, that was not only very small, but looked old and not well maintained. The closet was terrible, with few and broken hangers and a safe-box so small and old it is better not to use. The view was to an inner patio filled with trash and construction debris. The breakfast was included but the quality was mediocre. They managed to have the only bad coffee we had in Florence. All in all not worth it.

While I prefer not to mention staff names for privacy reasons, I want to highlight that **every single team member—daytime and late night—was exceptional**. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out. We experienced a very minor issue (not the hotel’s fault), and their response was nothing short of outstanding. They went **above and beyond** to address it—far exceeding any expectations. Honestly, the issue wasn’t even worth mentioning, but their proactive, thoughtful approach was deeply appreciated and showed how committed they are to guest satisfaction. One unforgettable moment: my girlfriend’s jaw literally dropped when she stepped out onto the terrace overlooking the Arno River. The view is something we’ll both remember for a long time. In short, this hotel is a gem. Service, atmosphere, location—everything was **perfect**. I’ll absolutely be coming back. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Florence. **11/10

The view from the room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the river and the beautiful historic buildings—it truly felt like staying in the heart of Florence. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. The staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

Its a nice hotel in historic location with a so good staff that made are holliday one of the best times that we had . Also room was very clean and no noise at night. Already there was a good restaurant with nice staff and delicious Italian food. Location was so amazing for to go to every historic places. Thanks a lot from hotel staff for their charming welcome and goodbye.

Porter only helps once you reach the lobby rather than the door, rooms do not match the pictures, very stingy with complimentary water, calling front desk from your room yield no result (better chance to use your mobile and call the hotel). Good location and relatively spacious suite, hence, passing the minimum requirements yet, not a great value for money.

so this one is a bit tough. It could be a 5 star rating with just some attention to detail. we paid ~$1000 per night and for that you have high expectations. The location of the hotel is perfect. You are right in the center of the action. The lobby was beautiful. Well kept and very clean. The elevator was a bit slow but it was fine. There is a nice courtyard as well. The room was very nice. We stayed in the deluxe suite with terrace. It had plenty of room and was updated. The terrace was large and very nice. One of the details that is overlooked was the wifi. It was terrible. Do not plan to actually use it! We told the front desk and they said they would look into it but nothing was done. A few well placed range extenders can fix this. Another detail was house keeping. They did a great job but they didn't clean the room until 5:30 PM! we just got back from a full day tour and wanted to shower and get ready for dinner but the room was not done until after 6. Again I spoke to the front desk. The next day it was done early. The breakfast was great. good variety etc. So overall it was a great stay but because of the small things I cannot give it a 5.

Outstanding location of the hotel. The hotel rooms were well maintained. There were a few exceptions; hallway carpets definitely should be replaced, very dirty, I am not sure a deep cleaning will resolve it. You had to slam the room door to ensure it was closed. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Overall great hotel.
