Palazzo Boyl 1840

We loved everything about our stay in this beautiful hotel. Room (Libraria) was spacious, quiet, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location on the walls was perfect with amazing views. Best of all is the team/family - Cecilia, Mario and Michel at reception to our friendly breakfast servers - you made our stay exceptional. 10/10 and thank you for making our Cagliari stay so special.

Nice hotel and location in Cagliari for exploring the city. The hotel has a charming interior with a touch of antiquity. Spacious room with shower and bath in the middle of the room and great views from the windows. Lovely toiletries from Aqua di Parma. The staff is very helpful and kind. Thank you to them! Breakfast and coffee are beautifully presented and tasty. Only downside is that the room at night was a bit too warm and there was quite a bit of noise coming through windows from windy weather outside.

I would have left 10 or 20 stars if it would have been possible. The exceptional 5 star position of the building , the extreme high standards of The manager, of Cecilia, of Michele, Nadia: everything is perfection. I travelled a lot and never found this quality before…! I will make some articles about the dream we are living in Cagliari. Grateful for everything! Dishes, restaurant, all the care brought to the rooms , modern and palazzo decorations and style in everything.

A special thank you to Michele at the reception – a true professional who’s always smiling and ready to help with everything, from check-in to the best insider tips about the city. Breakfasts are generous, fresh, and served with care. The interiors perfectly blend the charm of a historic palace with modern comfort. Every detail is carefully thought through. My final tip? Let yourself be pampered here. You deserve it. And the view? It’ll stay with you long after you’ve left.

The feeling was that of authentic hospitality in a historic palace. Huge rooms, many windows with an ideal view, classic flooring and furniture and yet great comfort.|The service, including room service, was exemplary. I would especially like to mention Mario, Cecilia and Michele for their warm and efficient service. Mario dedicated time, effort and resourcefulness to every matter, including upgrading our room and helping to secure a ticket for a football match at the last minute, which required an hour of effort from him!

It was a great experience to stay in pallazo boyl, room libreria. Cecilia and Mario were amazing the pallazo boyl is surely a better place because of them and they will help you with everything you need to know- best recommendations what to see and where to go around the Cagliari and Sardegna!

A perfect location for our stay in Cagliari. The hotel has loads of character and period charm, the staff are all friendly and very helpful. The views from the balconies are wonderful. The room was large, airy and spotless. Highly recommended for weekend city break.

This was by far the most outstanding hotel experience I had. The rooms were large, tastefully designed with a blend of original charm and modern comforts. I was amazed by the stunning sea views. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating—the friendliest I ever encountered—and made me feel right at home, Michele was great. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of delicious options. Though the hotel is located on higher ground, a nearby bastioni with a lift makes it easier to get around. It’s perfectly situated close to all the main attractions in Cagliari, shopping and restaurants.The intimate atmosphere of this small hotel adds a personal touch, making you feel truly valued. I would return without hesitation, especially because of the incredible staff. Absolutely worth the extra cost.
