It feels very homey here. The place is very simple with good food and good coffee, and you definitely feel the Italian vibe when you walk in. Everything was fresh, and made to order. The staff were super nice and friendly (again in a folksy way) There is outside seating and usually there is some sort of music playing during lunch hour so it’s fun to be there I wouldn’t recommend planning to study or do work inside as it can be loud during lunch hour

My first time eating a meal here. The atmosphere and ambiance are very nice. The service was quick and the staff are very friendly. The food was delicious and you get a good value for your money. A big breakfast sandwich and a large iced latte were less than $10! If you are visiting downtown Springfield this is the place to grab a bite. It's small, but not cramped. Actually, it's comfortable to sit and eat while you're waiting for a meeting downtown or waiting for a store to open. I will be coming back here.

SO GOOD. Delightful food and super affordable. The Italian ladies serving us were super sweet and definitely knew everybody in there (except me and my parents, the out-of-towners). There was a slight misunderstanding regarding my mom's and my coffee orders - one of the Italian ladies told me I was a "pain in the ass," but in a very lovely way... ? Seriously, a great place.

Sweetest lady takes care of this lovely shop. Excellent baked goods and sandwiches. Fantastic prices. You'll end up with much more than you ever hoped for.

This place is legit. I travel about 15 days a month and every morning in a new city, I attempt seek out the best coffee possible. Not only was my macchiato delicious, it was prepared perfectly. True Italian touch. Avocado toast was simple and delicious as well.

We stopped in on Friday morning to grab a couple drinks (iced latte and Iced macchiato) and a couple bagels. It was a great decision. We were out for a walk during the morning from our stay at the MGM and I presume, it was the owner, that was so kind and welcoming. She gave us great suggestions and everything was delicious and reasonably priced.

I had a delicious pastry, they also have some yogurts and fresh bananas. Nice outdoor sitting area. Beware: I didn't get a Red Eye when I ordered Americano.

Service was great. I had a bacon egg and cheese on croissant with a cinnamon latte.

Very sweet owner and friendly staff, good quick breakfast bites. It's inside an office building.

Simple, delicious, affordable, homey, kind. Walking into Palazzo Cafe feels like a warm hug. Silvana (at the counter) is such a sweet soul. I got a cheese danish and the Napoli panini, which is tuna. The cheese danish was fresh and soft. The panini was served hot and with potato chips. I got a hot black coffee to drink and it put a nice bow on my early lunch. You'd be remiss to skip this spot; it's the type of place that's steady and serves its community well. I'll certainly be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Coffee here is good but the place is quite cluttered and dusty. Snacks seem years old and food in the pastry case does not look fresh. Ok to stop in and grab a drink but would not stay.

Springfield is lacking a lot of stuff... A good coffee shop definitely on the list. $3 for average take out. Owner seemed nice. Bye Springfield....

I love the ambiance of the cafe, such a warm and an inviting space. The service is wonderful, they truly make you feel at home. And food is such high quality, personally I love the croissants.

I love this little place. It's probably easy for tourists to miss but it's well know to downtown folks. Their espresso is great. My wife enjoys their quiche while I like anything involving their meatballs. They also have a bunch of desserts, of which the tiramisu is delicious. I've been to a number of events they've catered and they do a great job. Lots of food and lots of happy people. The location, kind of hidden in plain view, is perfect if you're downtown. It's a adjacent to the MassMutual Center and City Hall, and a stones throw from the soon to be open MGM casino.

The food is excellent. Service is polite and quick. Love the ladies there. The only problem is that they really don't have any parking and it can be hard to get there. If you work in the area, it's a great spot to walk to. If you are headed there as a destination, it's tough to find parking and eat there. It's clear that their business is all local office and court workers, though, so I'm sure they do ok

My husband and I went for breakfast. The lady that took care of us was the sweetest person we have ever met. We both ordered egg sandwiches and my husband has had cancer on tongue so he could not finish his. I went to pay and she would not take our money . So we left her a tip and she ran outside after us and made us take the tip back. Then she kissed me and said a prayer. The food was very good. But the atmosphere was a joy. God bless her and I'll pay it forward for sure

Just wanted a quick cup of coffee. Pastries were irresistible. My daughter said the iced coffee was excellent and she'll put this spot on her regular list.

I truly can't say enough good things about Palazzo. Great food, coffee, desserts, etc. Luisa and Sil are such a joy to see that I try to get lunch there every day on my lunch break. If i could give them 10 stars I would!

Still five stars and they continue to amaze me. A few months back, to surprise my BF who lives in Springfield, I placed a call to Palazzo to see if they would make a special delivery to his workplace downtown. I said I wanted to spend about $50, what will that get me? It got me a beautifully gift-wrapped 10" platter of freshly baked cookies as well as a platter of assorted bakery and pastry items including: carrot cake slices, cannoli, lemon pastries, cheesecake, etc. I was amazed by how much she included. Not to mention, she didn't want to charge me for delivery. I'm not saying take advantage of the fact that they wanted to help me out, but utilize this business as they go out of their way for customers! My BF said that every pastry was delicious and the quantity was so great, he shared the cookie platter with the whole office. Quality product, amazing service and reasonable prices. Honestly, just a great business.

I've been getting breakfast here for years. Best on the block! The staff is super friendly. A classic Italian cafe.

This place is amazing!!! Great food, atmosphere and employees!! My favorite thing to get here is the Turkey BLT but I get it on a wrap and it's 10/10 everytime!

The best breakfast sandwich around! And amazing lunches and catering. The chicken Parm and pasta were the best ever! My guests raved! Luisa and Silvana will brighten your day. This is a real treasure in Springfield!

Sooooo delicious! We had fresh baked croissants ( a chocolate and a cream) that were so delicious. The variety of pastries is great! If you cant go to all the way to rome, go to Palazzo! 100%

I have had the chance to eat here a few times while down town Springfield for meetings. It is really good. Today I had the chicken cordon bleu panini, it came with chips and it was great! In the summer it's nice to sit outside and overlook court square. This really is a great little spot in the city of Springfield!

How to I began to describe this lovely cafe? The service is grand and the staff is fantastic, so welcoming to visitors. The coffee drinks are great and soups amazingly fresh and homemade. I've had the desserts and other items and still return to this charming cafe each visit to Springfield.

Palazzos was recommended to us for their desserts by our server at another restaurant. It was phenomenal. We were greeted warmly and promptly. The brownies and cakes were out of this world. Our group's favorites were the salted caramel cake, the chocolate brownie with white chocolate drizzle and the tiramisu. Pure heaven. Worth a stop!

I can't imagine anything better than a Toscana wrap from Palazzo Cafe for lunch. I love the way the prosciutto, mozzarella, and basil melds together in a crisp wrap; it's the perfect combination of creamy and salty. Palazzo Cafe also sells Italian beverages like Orangina and my favorite candy in the world, Baci. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. At one point, they sold me my Baci fix for less than the posted price (my change went directly into the tip jar.) Definitely my favorite lunch spot in Springfield, even if they don't have wi-fi.

I'm at a conference and have had lunch here three days in a row! Each sandwich was different and each was delicious! Staff are awesome! They recognized me quickly and banter with all the patrons. Great senses of humor and fantastic customer service!

Palazzo is my new favorite place to visit: The custumer service is outstanding, very very kind workers, the food is fast, yummy..and the desserts, out of the world!!!! Thank you for your caring service. I will go there as many times as I can.
