As a Diamon Member who travels for work and pleasure frequently. Will say this is a splendid hotel that accommodates it's guests well. Room was complementarily upgraded, when there was an issue with the room, it was quickly handled with better accommodations. Staff was very helpful with information, assisting in luggage, later checkout. Rooms were clean and the hotel location is perfect!! Highly recommend. The downstairs dining area is beautiful during the holiday season. The breakfast is delicious.

We celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary here. We had a weekend stay and it was perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with our questions and we had a gift in our room and a room upgrade! The hotel is clean and well located, the food was very good. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you to the team at the hotel for making our stay so special ❤️

This hotel is a really nice historical hotel in a well located area for getting around. |The room was comfortable, and the shower was especially nice with a lot of pressure. |Breakfast was not as plentiful as most hotels of this category. Quite limited selection. |The bar is very small but cozy. We had to eat dinner at the bar because the main kitchen was closed due to an event. The bar food was sub par.|Front desk is staffed by a nice team. |Of course, being in Napoli, prices are high. |Airport shuttle is available through the hotel for a fee. |We would recommend this hotel mostly based on access to different areas of the city.

Location was very good for Centro Storico. The room was fine although hot. We were told they set one temperature for the whole hotel. Since it was November I guess they had already put the setting to heat. The only way to cool the room was to keep the window open which was very noisy. We were disappointed with service however. Check in and check out was fine, but at breakfast we were discouraged from sitting at a table in the courtyard because they said they had no tables clean and set up. There was only one table occupied. When we went inside though it was the same. The tables needed to be cleared and we had to set our own table. It was only 9:30am so it wasn't like we came at the very end of breakfast. The worst experience however was with the car valet service. It took 45 minutes to get our car. After 20 minutes we were told there had been a problem with the garage but it was resolved and the are was on the way. After 30 minutes we were told it would just be 2 more minutes but that the car was on the way. Finally after 40 minutes the valet attendant asked us our room number and went to get our key from the cabinet to fetch the car. Waiting 45 minutes when we were leaving for the airport was already stressful and a surprisingly long wait, but I was shocked that we had been told lies twice by the staff about the car being en route. It is completely unacceptable to lie to your clients. The attendant tried to make the excuse that he was the only one there and needed to stay to manage all the cars that people kept trying to leave, but that is a service issue that the hotel needed to manage. They had 4 people at the front desk. Maybe someone needed to go outside to help. I am still taken aback that we were lied to by the staff. That just shows a complete lack of respect.

Amazing stay here at palazzo caracciolo, Napoli. Staff was great. Gennaro at reception was wonderful. There were a few others too, not sure of there names. Very friendly and helpful. The gentlemen outside and the guys bringing our bags to our room were wonderful. we will definitely return when in Naples.

I am a long time Hilton member as well as a team member and I have to say I was a little disappointed with my stay. The hotel is clean, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The biggest issue is that they were holding events in their courtyard with music blasting until 11 pm. I understand that there is a large night life here, however the music was so loud that there was no sleeping. It echoched so badly within the rooms that ot felt like you were right down there partying with them. If we had known they held events like these, we wouldn't have stayed here. Nothing was listed on the website about these types of events and we were totally unaware of this. How are we meant to travel and enjoy our trip if we are running on zero sleep everyday. Would not recommend staying here if you have long days and are expecting a good night's sleep!

The room was elegant but I was only there for 4 hours because I had an early flight back to the United States the next day.|Our group had a lovely reception with drinks and appetizers on the beautiful 4th floor outside veranda accompanied by live piano music.|There are caves that I stumbled onto while looking for the reception. |They are interesting but very musty smelling.|The hotel personnel were very polite and helpful

Google
Nice hotel with great staff that really do try their best. There was an issue with our first room so they switched us without an issue. Biggest problem was the bugs!! Our room had a bunch of little bugs flying around. Mentioned to front desk and they sprayed the bathroom but no change. We were in RM 126

Yelp
We toured Italy over 2 weeks and stayed in 5 different hotels - this was the last one and my favorite. Lots of history here and throughout the neighborhood. We arrived early and we knew our room would not be ready; we had already planned to explore the area while waiting for our room. They were attentive with holding our luggage and Roberta gave us a map and explained in great detail many options to explore in the area. Close to shops, restaurants, museums, and much to explore. Napoli is very characteristic. Narrow roads, historic buildings, many scooters coming out of nowhere... It was a great adventure for us. Hotel is well maintained throughout. Rooms were great. Breakfast in a beautiful courtyard. Room service was fast and efficient. Bar was attentive with a very nice lounge. Ambiance inside the hotel was pleasant throughout. I would love to visit again.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of staying here in the summer and it's beautiful! As you can tell from the name, Palazzo Caracciolo is a converted palace and has a stately and lovely inner courtyard. You can almost see horse-drawn carriages pulling up. The hotel has preserved the royal feel of the architecture while giving the inside a completely modern style. There is free internet on a computer on the main floor in a study across the corridor from the lobby, and the main courtyard is next to an indoor modern lounge with a bar for when it's just too hot to sit outside. The rooms are nice, and I really enjoyed just lounging around all the pretty areas near the courtyard, or looking out my window before bed at the courtyard view. The morning breakfast was good and served in the beautiful inner courtyard. As always in Italy, coffee is delicious and the baked goods were a sinful way to wake up. The reception staff was very helpful and polite and so so nice anytime I asked them for anything. They gave me a good map and advice for the best way to get to the best pizza in town:) Location wise, it's about a 12-15 minute walk from the Termini, and with very heavy baggage and tiny, bustling streets full of people and traffic, it can be a little taxing to walk up there in the blistering heat. You could take a taxi if you wanted, but if you have time and a map of the tiny streets, it's not far at all. It's also an easy 10 min walk to some of Napoli's famous pizzerias, including the one from Eat, Pray, Love, called Da Michele. Beware, it is a crazy walk through tiny streets filled with people intent on walking very slowly while they talk very loudly, and scooters coming out of nowhere from round the corner, or buckets being lowered from high windows to people ambling by. Haha but that's Napoli and if you brave it you, you will get to eat delicious pizza (or go wherever it is you're going). While I stayed, they did host a wedding in the courtyard, and because of the wedding there were some disgruntled guests who couldn't get a drink at the bar because there was no barman for for than half an hour. An enterprising American tourist went and got her own just as the barman got back haha and told him not to bother himself in a very efficient way as old ladies do.

Yelp
Palazzo Caracciolo is just 5 minutes from the Napoli Station. It is situated in a rough street but the hotel itself is very beautiful and safe. The hotel has a nice courtyard where you can sit and enjoy yourself. I stayed here earlier this month for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. I even dined at the hotel restaurant which was very reasonable in price and tasted good too. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel again.

Yelp
On the last night of a 2 week trip in Italy where my husband & I stayed in all 5 star hotels the entire trip, I was turned away from this hotel on the day of my reservation (the reservation was prepaid using my American Express platinum card). The reason we were turned away was that they were unable to accommodate our room due to an "event" taking place at the hotel. It appeared that there was some sort of celebrity arriving or staying there as there were police & young girls lined up outside the hotel. The hotel sent us by taxi to what they claimed was a comparable Hotel, the Ramada Inn... which did not even have bellmen to take our bags when we arrived.... an awful smelling & looking room complete with flies and dirty glasses. The most unprofessional & disgusting experience of all though was that of the staff at the Sofitel in Naples. Luckily, our American Express travel team is working diligently to correct this. However, even the travel team said the hotel was behaving incredible unprofessionally & not in appropriate hospitality etiquette. For this reason, I will NEVER book with Sofitel in any city ever again.

Yelp
Very nice located city hotel! Overall quality can be considered as +4 stars. Only breakfast is getting boring after the 2nd day! The serve those strange "dry eggs" which I find very bad, but I know that many hotels in the south do it due to hygiene reasons... Overall the Hotel is very clean and well organized - the staff is friendly and supportive! Only the part time girls for the breakfast Menu are struggling with a proper service level - but that's a minor issue. The style and in particular the Gallery is really nice and beautiful! We also had a snack in the restaurant which was very good and in a normal price range. Location is great, quite a historical place and close to the city center! You can walk to the main streets in like 10-20 minutes (depending on the outside temperature). So price / performance is really good!

Yelp
Disappointment. Classic case of how a fancy looking hotel on the outside doesn't guarantee a great stay. The outside facade was beautiful, the room inside was decent, the bathroom shower leaked all over the floor thanks to a total mess of a seal on the swing door. The wifi was a lesson in patience. The connection was through some third party ISP that was always "not working," which was a huge inconvenience in: a difficult to navigate city, with a hotel in a part of town you wouldn't enjoy taking wrong turns through. The most frustrating part of the hotel though was the front desk. The front desk staff could have been more helpful. A waitress in the restaurant who saw us wandering through pre-check-in, looking for something to drink, offered us a coffee and biscuits for free. Very generous, and appreciated because she went out of her way to help. This was unfortunately not shared by others though, which largely reflects our impression of our stay. A few tips, and examples (since these reviews are hopefully read and reviewed by management): -Offer to take guests' bags for them up to their rooms, or if here're checking in later, leave it in the room for when they return... -Call to check in that they are okay with their rooms and don't have any difficulties getting online or keeping their bathroom floors from becoming swimming pools... -One rather bizarre experience ... one of the front desk staff outright stopped what he was for several moments to stare at a female guests' butt as she walked away -- in plain view of the line standing in front of him. There's (arguably...) a time and place for this sort of thing, and it's not when you're on the job serving a line of customers. -When the internet stops working, offer to compensate something; not having internet access is a major pain for travelers in a new city who rely on it. The other reality of the hotel is its location, which is dodgy. I don't know if there's anything that actually happens in the neighborhood which is unsafe, but you sure feel like you're intruding on a very exclusive local party when you're passing through. The neighborhood around the hotel definitely had us feeling a little unsafe at night. And given how every taxi driver we used thought it appropriate to give themselves an honorary "tip... For caffe!" walking around was a fairly essential mode of transportation. Would not stay here again. The best part of the hotel is the exterior and inner courtyard... Visually beautiful, but not enough to convey hospitality.

Yelp
DO NOT RECOMMEND: Unethical practices with the hotel management, supervised by manager, Salvatorie. I spoke to him over phone inquiring about a reservation. He asked me to send an email with the reservation dates and credit card information. I did. Then I was given a confirmation that this reservation is special and not refundable. That was not disclosed to me by phone prior to booking. I called to cancel and emailed to cancel one hour later. I made it clear that I need them to cancel and release the money back to my American Express card. They would not. Since then I had sent via American Express several attempts to reverse this charges. They refused. American Express then had made me aware that they can only request but this is solely up to the discretion of the hotel, when it is international. So I out $314 Euros/$345us dollars. I have never experienced this type of situation ever in all my many trips abroad. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
