We loved this boutique hotel! Francesca is very welcoming and the breakfast is very good and plentiful. The rooms are lovely and the beds are comfortable. We had two rooms; our daughter was in one of the more modern rooms, and we had a beautiful suite. This hotel is absolutely worth the money. It isn’t that often that rooms have an ice maker and an assortment of free drinks in a mini fridge. Montepulciano is filled with charm, cute shops, and of course, great gelato and restaurants.

Incredible stay at Palazzo Carletti! We stayed in the newer part of the hotel and could not recommend it more. It is beautifully renovated and in pristine condition. The breakfast room is stunning and light breakfast perfectly presented. Thank you to the staff for your assistance in booking us dinners as well. We hope to return to Montelpulciano one day and will definitely return!

Such a charming find in Montepulciano. I wished we had made this our home base throughout our Tuscany trip. It is small-only 5 rooms-but beautiful. We stayed in the Carletti Deluxe Double that had a Turkish bath (steam room). Such a romantic experience. The room has a frescoed ceiling and is truly beautiful. Federica made check in a breeze, was a wealth of information, and answered all our questions. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely book here.

Absolutely exquisite stay in Montepulciano. Every detail was meticulous and beautiful. The frescoes, the rooms, the beds, the linens, the service. Truly five star luxury.

Located in heart of Montepulciano, this boutique 5 room/suite hotel is a gem. A gem that is made even more so by the manager, Federica. We had the Albany suite comprising sitting room, large bedroom and generous bathroom. The bedroom had a small balcony with magnificent views across the Tuscan countryside. Federica prepared breakfast for all, recommended restaurants and things to see and do and went beyond to arrange restaurant bookings.|Highly recommended, but make sure your driver knows the town as finding it can be a tad difficult for the first time visitor.

JAW DROPPING! When I say I what a view, I mean it! Not only that, but service was absolutely incredible. Extremely pleasant staff. They will go above and beyond to do anything to make your stay better. It’s a very small boutique hotel, but that does not mean small amenities or services.||Large TV in the living room and bedroom- incredibly easy to connect to your smartphone and watch your shows or listen to incredible music!|| Bar cart in the lobby for guests, fully stocked fridge and ice maker in your room! Jacuzzi tub that can easily fit 4 adults ( but of course meant for 2). The breakfast is top notch: served to you with coffee, juices, fruits, breads, cheeses. There is absolutely nothing that this place misses.|I will hate to leave this place.||Btw:ask for The Albany Suite! Not sure if the other rooms have as spectacular a view!

Palazzo Carletti exceeded expectations! We never wanted to leave! We loved our host Federica and her asst Veronica who were so accommodating. We stayed in the most incredible room and we loved the town. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious. Cannot say enough good things about our stay. We highly recommend staying here if you visit Montepulciano.

Yelp
We stayed one night at this gorgeous property after there was a problem with our booked hotel. Though our stay was short I really need to share that if you want time where all dreams of romantic Italy come true, this is your place. Magnificent.

Yelp
Montepulciano is one of my husbands and my favorite places on earth. We have been traveling here over the years and have never had a disappointing stay. We have made friends and lasting memories. This stay was just spectacular and the exact kind of pampering and luxurious experience we were hoping for. We decided, this time, to stay at the Palazzo Carletti. The Palazzo Carletti is a gorgeous piece of historical elegance. We knew a little bit about the history of this building. For example, it was the communist headquarters during World War II. Interesting right? During that time many of the magnificent ceiling frescoes had been enclosed to conserve energy/heat. When the new owner broke through the ceiling barrier to expose these great frescoes, I can only imagine his excitement. The Palazzo Carletti is a boutique hotel nestled right up from the wonderful Cafe Polizziano, right in the heart of the highest mountain town in Tuscany, Montepulciano . This special hotel has only 5 rooms that are accessed off of the grand room that drips in history and beautiful frescos. The family that owns this gem are exemplary hosts and we felt like the most special people on earth during our stay. The concierge was just lovely. She was so elegant and composed in her position and ensured our stay here was a perfect 10. The breakfasts that are served in the grand room each morning were fantastic. We had the great fortune of staying in the Albany Suite and it was amazing. Ceiling frescoes, luxurious bedding, super modern bathroom, to die for, and a perfect Tuscan view from our balcony where we drank our cappuccino each morning...... The Dolce Vita!!

Yelp
OMG, this hotel is AMAZING! We stayed in the Double Superior Alfieri room, and it was perfect. The room was spectacular and spacious, with high ceilings decorated with most gorgeous frescos. Everything was posh, clean and modern inside and very comfortable. The breakfast every morning was great (what a room!!), the location of this beautiful historic palace couldn't be better (right in the heart of Montepulciano), and the parking was free. Martina, the manager, was the coolest and most helpful host! My husband and I can't say enough about Martina and this magical hotel. We loved Montepulciano and highly recommend staying at Palazzo Carletti!
