The hotel is a compact, modern space with a lovely courtyard for warm weather relaxation. We were fortunate to get a room on the 1st floor, which came with its own semi-private outdoor space overlooking the courtyard. It was lovely for morning coffee or evening drink. Beds were comfortable and staff was accommodating. I would consider staying again in warmer months. The hotel is several blocks from major attractions, the spa is not full-service, and the restaurant is very basic. But it was a very nice space to return after a long day of sightseeing. I recommend if you prefer being in a quieter area and/or value outdoor space!

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Location is awesome, literally five minute walk to the main attractions. Lovely welcome on arrival, we were a little early so had a wander round till the room was ready. When we got back, bags had been taken to our room. Room was clean, no noise even though we were overlooking the road, shower was lovely! I always take my sons teddy on trips (to send photos home) and the housekeeper put it on the pillow when making up the room! Breakfast was great, different things every morning for the three days we were there. The garden was so quiet- we sat one evening and just listened to the church bells. Had room service which was great too. Every member of staff we met were polite, helpful and very welcoming. Overall an excellent stay.

I highly recommend Palazzo Castri. The staff is super friendly, very accommodating and so helpful. The rooms are comfortable, chic and the commodities inside are evidence of a luxury hotel - there is even a steamer in the room for your clothes! There are so many discrete touches that make this hotel so special. The spa is a huge bonus and the pool such a welcome addition at the end of a busy day walking the city. |The garden is a green oasis of calm where yoga classes are available every morning ( except Mondays). |If I go back to Florence, I would definitely go back there! |I highly recommend the hotel, it really feels quietly luxurious! |PS: We enjoyed a free late checkout as our flight was in the evening and we got this free of charge! |5 stars! 🌟

This hotel is lovely,the staff are friendly and helpful, we celebrated our 30th anniversary there with family. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of it. The restaurant is good for snacks and other meals. Spa is good, highly recommend the massage. Close to train station and centre. We will definitely return.

Wonderful stay here all around. Location is top notch with easy access to the train station, central market and historic district. Super quaint with an interior garden that offers a delightful scene for breakfast or daily 4pm tea service. Room was spacious and comfortable. All staff were warm and helpful. Would stay here again for sure.

Fantastic stay here when visiting our daughter who was studying abroad. Quaint interior garden made this place a gem for a spot in the heart of the city...lovely to sit garden-side for breakfast or daily 4pm afternoon tea service. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable, though ours had a lofted bedroom with a full flight of stairs up from the sitting area which was a little awkward with our luggage. Location can't be beat with easy walking access to train station, central market, many restaurants and historic district with tourist sites. Did not use the spa but it looked very nice. Would stay here again for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Castri 1874. The location was perfect. It was just a pleasant 10–15 minute walk to the city centre, making it easy to explore Florence while enjoying a peaceful retreat away from the busiest streets. The hotel itself feels modern yet serene, with a relaxing atmosphere throughout. Our room was stylish, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff were consistently welcoming, attentive, and very helpful with recommendations. We enjoyed making use of the spa facilities, which were excellent. Breakfast each morning offered a nice variety of options, and the garden was a beautiful, tranquil spot to unwind after sightseeing. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Palazzo Castri. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet part of Florence a short walk from all the attractions. The room was clean and spacious, air conditioning worked well, and the TV was equipped with Netflix. The breakfast was a highlight, with a plethora of fresh pastries and delicious espresso beverages. The staff were friendly and helpful.
