Great location to explore wonderful Ortigia. Giovanni is a great host- helpful with all we asked. Room was so very nice with our own little outdoor patio which I enjoyed. Breakfast is a croissant/cappuccino outside on a busy street. Parking was arranged for us at 20 euros a day. We so loved this city and wished we had more time. Hoping to return one day

We had the room with private terrace up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Everything was a charm:. Location, simple cap & croissant breakfast served by giovanni, an encyclopedia of helpful information, at the street level tables where we watched the neighborhood action and planned our day. Just the kind of B&B year hope to find!

As a group of friends we had three rooms and everything is perfect.|The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. A number of shared spaces to hang out. |Location is fantastic for wandering around, restaurants or a minute to hit a great swimming spot. |Having the cafe downstairs attached to the B&B is great. Delicious pistachio cream with breakfast to drinks in the evening |The best part was Giovanni. Very chilled & layed back nothing is every and issue and always helpful.

Be careful. I paid for the hotel to park my car and log the licence plate as exempt of the ZTL (restricted traffic) charge. In good diary, I trusted bit would be done. Instead I received a fine of €100 for entering a ZTL zone. The Siracusa Police didn’t care about my explanation. Owner Giovanni said he would sort things out but never did. In sum: don’t trust what he says or does !

I did not want to write this review, instead I wanted to keep it a little secret. If you want to immerse yourself into the local culture for a few days, look no further. Wonderful family business, relaxed, Friendly & hospitable. Perfect for wandering the area and sampling great food in all the lovely restaurants and bars.

We loved our stay here!! Perfect location, our room was quite large, perfect for walking around beautiful Ortigia- probably our favorite place on our trip to Sicily. Giovanni was the perfect host- friendly and easy to chat with. He gave us alot of great suggestions for dining. Breakfast was simple, but delicious. The perfect cappucino and cornetto! Our only complaint was that the bathroom needed some updating- paint was peeling, and tiles were kind of worn. The bedding was very comfortable. We loved having a little balcony to enjoy our pre- dinner wine and people watching.

The palazzo is an ideal place to stay in Syracuse. The location is central near the beach promenade and intriguing laneways lined with trattorias and craft shops.|Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and every morning we enjoyed coffee and croissants with the very best home made jams.|The unexpected happened when we discovered we had to leave early due to a train strike which threatened to cause us to miss our train to Naples. When we paid our bill the very kind and helpful manager refused to charge us for the complete reservation - we were very grateful for that generosity.

Delightful bead and breakfast in a nice part of Ortigya. Walking distance to all the attractions on the island. Friendly, laid-back owners. Our top floor room had a nice terrace. Parking is best done via Amedeo’s valet service at just 5 euros per diem extra.
