We have just returned from a 4 night stay in the junior suite with canal view. Would definitely recommend, a large clean room with amazing views of the canal. Bedroom decor is as you expect in Venice. The bed was large and comfy, the hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to all main tourist spots and Accademia boat stop. Upgrading to this room was definitely worth it. Only thing to mention is the noise from passing boats and passers by, but this is expected given the canal view and central location. Assumed to be single glazed windows given the age/ style of building. Overall amazing stay, nice breakfast and would certainly stay again.

Had an excellent stay at Palazzo Guardi, in a junior suite, canal view. ||Slightly eccentric check in process where you check in through one building in a tiny alley, and then go over to another building, which you are given the keys for the front door - quite nice to have 'your own address' in Venice. ||Helpful reception, (thanks Ottavia!) , who can recommend restaurants, organize water taxis, etc. There are many restaurants and hole in the wall eating spots around the hotel, just wander around and you'll find plenty. ||Comfortable room, lovely canal view (and decent sound proofing on the windows) , good water pressure in the bathroom. Wifi very solid, good speed.||Good free breakfast each morning in the breakfast room - cold meats & cheese, scrambled eggs, bread options. No actual restaurant on the premises, so no dinner/lunch options. ||Minutes from academy bridge, 20 mins walk to Rialto or San Marco. ||Recommended!

We had a great time. Our room was large. The bathroom was large and modern. We had internet. No elevator. We stayed at one of the annex buildings. The fixtures were so beautiful and the breakfasts were great. The location is also great. I would return here again

Myself and husband stayed here for 2 night 14th to 16th April. We loved Venice and loved this location. Great time of year to visit, we were lucky with the weather, it was beautiful. ||Within walking distance to all the main attractions and also near 2 water bus stops. Lovely street with bars and resultants. We loved the Giudecca canal area around the corner for food and drinks and watching the sun going down. ||The hotel itself, we were happy with the breakfast (cooked and continental selection) and complimentary drinks in room (beer, coke, water) , coffee machine and toiletries (shower gel, soap, shower cap, slippers). ||Thanks for a great stay

We stayed here in August 2024 (room Yellow Green). The area is quite quiet compared to others in the city.|The accommodation is located right in front of a small canal... so it was a privilege to see the boats that provide the city's services start to enter early in the morning... boats with freezers transporting seafood, meat... boat that delivered bread... the boat that collects garbage, etc.|We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and found the room spacious enough for everyone to move around well.|Everything clean, air conditioning working, hot water, mini bar with free drinks, beds with plenty of space.|We had an anti-mildew product in the room, but we didn't use it.|Breakfast is served in a small area, which ends up being good as it doesn't have the noise and clutter of a large hotel.|Friendly and helpful staff.|Easy to get to anywhere in the city and in just a short time.|The decoration is very Venetian style.|And, best of all... very close to the Nico ice cream shop... unmissable!

We stayed there two days. The place is close two a couple ferry stations so you can get anywhere relatively quick. Only 15 min walk from every central place on the island. Service was great. You must try their elevator 😜the smallest and slowest I have ever seen.

I prefer to stay Dorsoduro neighbourhood in Venice for it is relatively quiet but also you can find very good restaurants , cafés, supermarkets, etc. Palazzo Guardi is an elegant, very central located B&B . Ferries are only 3-5 minutes away. The building has it's charisma, the rooms are airy, comfortable and clean. They have a 24/7 service at the reception, the breakfast is fresh and sufficient. |This is my second stay at the B&B and there will be many more i hope.

Ask the hotel coordinator how to get to the hotel before even arriving to Venice cause you’ll have to park the car in Venice city entrance, there’s safe parking spots that you will see around; then you get to the hotel by Vaporetto (a boat) or Taxi ( small boat ), the first one is more affordable like €9 euro per person, in the second one the taxi boat may be €70 euros, unacceptable for a 10 minutes or less ride. Anyways be sure of what you’re doing before arriving Venice cause the confusion of not knowing can damage your expectations about the city super fast!
