Palazzo Jannuzzi Relais

We (family of 4 -- 2 adults, 2 kids) stayed in August in a Junior Suite. ||Key items:|1) Getting to the hotel. We arrived by ferry from Naples. Walking from the port up to the hotel with our suitcases was probably not ideal as the hotel is located at the top of a fairly steep climb. In retrospect, we probably should have taken a cab.|2) The location of the hotel is excellent relative to both the rest of the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. It is also easy to get to the port (when you don't have luggage :), which made day trips to the Amalfi coast and Isle of Capri easy. Also easy to explore the main streets of Sorrento or hop outside for a quick walk to get gelato!|3) The room itself was spacious and very bright. Looked over the main square where there would be music at night. Small balcony where you could sit and people watch. Easily accommodated the four of us. |4) Breakfast was very good. Nice selection of fruit, italian pastries, good espresso, etc. They even remembered the birthday of one of our kids with a small treat which she loved. ||Definitely would recommend.

This is a lovely and very friendly hotel. Don't hesitate to book it. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very comfortable and nice. The location is also extremely convenient-- the train station is a short walk and lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby. The one thing to know is that the central location can be a little noisy on weekend evenings, but that said, the noise seems to end early-- by 10 or 11:00, everything was quiet. When I come back to Sorrento I will certainly book here again. It was my favorite hotel I stayed in Italy.

What an amazing place this hotel is! We had two suites between four of us and they were the most spacious suites I’d ever been in. Every part of the hotel was immaculate. Our bathroom was big enough for two of us to do jumping jacks in side by side without hitting anything. The staff is beyond friendly and they quickly make you feel like you’re home when you stay here. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the cappuccino was the best I’ve ever had. They really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. This hotel is in the center of everything with shopping and many bars and restaurants all around you. Thank you JANNUZZI!!

Wonderful experience as a couple who needed a few days away! Beautiful hotel in a great location - we very much enjoyed from our room's balcony the Christmas celebrations in the square! Super helpful staff, a well thought out honesty bar and a charming breakfast environment.

The Palazzo Jannuzzi Relais exceeded our expectations both for the rooms, but also the hospitality and breakfast spread. This is the only place we would stay if we returned to Sorrento. They set us up with a driver to take us to the Amalfi coast and Pasquale was more than we expected. He was gracious, funny, entertaining, and most importantly educational. The entire experience was top-notch.

Everything about this place is perfect. Perfect! Location. The staff. The breakfast...amazing. Clean and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Did I mention it was perfect in all ways? We spent 4 days in Sorrento and the hotel was our biggest highlight.

This place is absolutely amazing! Very central location at the hub of the town square. Maria at the front desk was so pleasant, polite and helpful.||We had a junior suite facing the Palazzo. Our stay at Palazzo Januzzi Relais was a fabulous experience. The staff is wonderful. Our room was beautiful, as is the Palazzo. Everything is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. The location is superb. We intended to stay for one night, and happily extended our stay to four.

This stay felt like home. This hotel has been in the family for generations and when you stay here, you feel like you're part of the family. From homemade breakfasts every morning, to family history decorating the walls, the experience here was so special. Try the cappuccinos in the morning, they're fantastic (and the apple muffins)!

Right in the middle of town, Palazzo Jannuzzi is a wonderful place to spend a few days in Sorrento. Decorated in an eclectic but cozy and modern style, Jannuzzi was the perfect place for our family. We throughly enjoyed being only steps away from main town square. The included breakfast is one of the best we have had anywhere. An extended home cooked buffet that is a reminiscent of an upperclass bed and breakfast experience. Definitely recommend.
