We loved our room and the view from this charming boutique hotel. Although we had provided advance notice that we were vegan, the dinner was disappointing. It was supposed to include first and second service, and desert. The first service was from the menu and okay. However, instead of a second service valued at 25-30 euros each, we were served 3 bland side dishes (without seasonings) to share, valued at 15 euros total. There was no desert for us. We understand veganism has a learning curve in this region. When we expressed our disappointment, the manager waved the charge for our wine. The next day, the staff provided vegan croissants for breakfast. It was a heartening gesture, and we are hopeful the hotel restaurant staff will be more accommodating to future vegan guests.

Lovely hotel in the middle of the town. Beds were extremely comfy with the best pillows I have ever had in a hotel. Well equipped bathroom with excellent shower. Decorated really nicely and very clean and well looked after. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of food. Spa was enjoyable and we also got to use the sister hotel's pool. Would recommend

This is a hidden gem in an absolutely beautiful little village. This has been extremely tastefully renovated in keeping with the interesting building. Our room was perfect, it was large and felt grand. The staff were so very helpful and even helped bring our luggage in from the car. The food in the restaurant was very much to our liking which meant we could just relax in the hotel after a long drive. So far this has been my favourite place. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Undoubtedly the least enjoyably place we stayed on our honeymoon. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly, but that was where our positive experience stopped. The hotel is spread across 3 separate buildings, and there are no elevators, so good luck with your bags. Our first night I was up till 2AM because our air conditioner was broken. The front desk said they would look for a fan, and took almost 2 hours to find one. The next morning I see several fans in the lobby that were on the reception staff. The reception staff for the morning was rude and not hospitable to work with. Also they did not change our towels out as my wife’s freshly folded towel was indeed the one from the day before. This hotel advertises amenities that are not on site, and they do not have shuttles to transport you to their sister hotels. They tried to save the day by “upgrading” our room because they could not fix the air, and we thought this was a nice gesture. Except that we had to repack everything and move our own bags back down the flight of steep stairs and across the village to the other building. We were so happy with the new room, until the evening came. The room is right next to a bar that stays open until 2-3AM and blasts club music that shakes the room. You will not get any sleep here. Honestly for 420€ a night, you’d be better off sleeping under a bridge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Do not stay here if you like good service! The staff of this hotel is extremely rude and seems constantly annoyed that you are there. Their attractions booked through the hotel are overpriced and misleading on what you actually receive. I am sure there are better places that will appreciate your business in Tuscany

Great location, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast with good gluten free options. Does have a small jacuzzi area as well to use. Room a little tired, all worked fine but shower fittings broken and slightly stale smelling Air con. That said, I would stay again

The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and kind to let us choose a room . But later our experiences were not so pleasant. The swimming pool- very old and stuffy, jacuzzi's - old and pigeons come and poop into them ( I let the stuff know about this but the first receptionist said "sorry" and that was all and the second receptionist said "sorry" and just when I was closing door he burst into laughter with other receptionist- very strange behavior - they will treat you like a stupid tourist and don't really care about your health or higene. You pay a lot because there is a jacuzzi but who cares if you bathe in the poop. I don't recommend this place. And radda in Chianti is pretty but very little of green - even in the park there is no grass, only pebbles. and at night there is a club so you can't sleep with open window. I would never go back even for free.

There is a lot to like here with some quirks that are to be expected in such an old building. We had a 2-room suite that was clean and quite large, though on the quirky side, the bathroom was quite small. However the shower had a fantastic rain overhead spray with great water pressure. The bathroom also had a towel warmer though it wasn’t working. The highlight of our room was the enormous private terrace overlooking the valley. Beds & pillows were comfortable enough and the linens and towels were high quality. On the quirky side—the AC unit threw off enough light that it kept the room from being dark at night which did inhibit a really great night’s sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa was mediocre—overbooked, noisy and not relaxing at all. Definitely wouldn’t go back to the spa, but we’d definitely ok a hotel stay again.
