I had an enjoyable stay overall. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, offering a great view that added to the experience. The staff were friendly and provided good service throughout my visit. Breakfast was tasty and had a decent variety. However, the spa was a bit of a letdown — it felt average and not quite worth the price. That said, I still appreciated the overall atmosphere and the time spent at the hotel. Would consider returning, especially for the rooms and service.

Where to start. We arrived late in the evening, night Portier present, or better to say not present. When he finally showed up, no English, like zero and horrible facial expressions just because we wanted to check in. Apologies for paying for your salary with our presence sir. Room was located literally beside reception which wouldn't be a problem if for some reason, from one of millions doors in room would often come very loud disturbing noise! Also, bathroom doors are SO loud, when opening and closing that I'm surprised that other guests didn't hear them, nevertheless your partner in room. If you go to toilet you're both awake, 100%! And bare in mind, this is their best room, "junior suit" with spa access. Cleaning! Or better to say, lack of it. Shocking to even write that after 3 days I had to go to reception and ask if towels will ever be changed, or bins emptied or something, to get response like it's my first time in hotel that towels have to be on floor to be replaced. Well, news for you KAREN, they don't! If towels are used they should be replaced daily. We took 2 plates to room after breakfast, and left the room, returned late in evening to find those same plates still on table with toast and butter and cheese after room was cleaned?! Also shocking lack of attention to guests from reception with zero questions about our stay, especially on check out where instead of usual questions about our stay only words after I handed in the key was - you need to pay tax changes! No problem KAREN! Anyway, 4 stars is a dream for that hotel, truly.

Charming hotel in a lovely village. It was a heavenly respite from the crowds of Florence. The hotel in located in the middle of town, surrounded by restaurants and shops. We didn't have a less than scrumptious meal. Our room was up some steps in the first building, overlooking Tuscany hills. So beautiful. The room was comfy, decorated with period furniture and well stocked. We enjoyed the wine machine. Our meals at the restaurant were good. The noise from below was loud but quoted by 10 PM

We stayed at the hotel during the week-end of the UTMB race and I could not be happier about my choice. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast we had was the best of all our Tuscany tour with a lot of choice, from savoury croissants, eggs, many types of bread, hams, and sweet treats like the jam tarts. The staff was also great at the breakfast restaurant, quickly knowing our habits and serving us better, and at the reception as well coordinating the booking of our restaurants. We could also have an early coffee before the race. The only 2 suggestions I would share: to have a coffee machine or kettle in the room and the look of the shower being a cubicle in the room is not so great. otherwise it is a 2 thumbs up!!

My husband and I stayed here April 8-11, and I have to tell you ... I cried when we left. This was such a magical hotel in the heart of Tuscany. We stayed in room 43 - we had a "normal" room (meaning not a suite) with a king bed and could not have been happier with it. Our room was extremely spacious, the bed seemed larger than a King, and it was wonderfully comfortable, as were the pillows. The view, however, left us speechless. We opened our windows and were mesmerized by how gorgeous everything was. Alessio helped with our luggage, and with Terry’s body still recovering from cancer, he never could have done this on his own, so thank you so much. The shower was excellent with great water pressure, and the heated towel bar was a very nice addition. The church bells from across the street are so peaceful and mesmerizing. The entire staff was so lovely and kind. The wine dispenser is a really unique touch, and we enjoyed it our first night when we sat outside and sipped our wine, savoring the gorgeous, breathtaking views. Unfortunately, our tours started at 8:00 each morning, so we didn't get to take advantage of the breakfast, but we heard it was quite wonderful. My cooking class that was held at the hotel one night with Chef Laura Franchini was absolutely fabulous. Thank you for bringing her to the hotel for this cooking class and for making the entire stay so special and magical. I will never forget any of it. The view from our room looked like heaven and earth meeting, and because of your hotel, your staff, and Bar Dante around the corner, we are now looking at dates to return and for property to buy! We are so in love with your beautiful area, and just wanted to express our appreciation for your hospitality and kindness. If you find yourself planning a trip to Tuscany, we cannot recommend Palazzo Leopoldo Dimora Storica & Spa enough.

Beautiful hotel in the center of town. Our room was a suite with living area, like a little apartment. Very modern bathroom, excellent stay. Helpful staff gave us recommendations on what to see in the area. Restaurant in the hotel is excellent as well.

Great hotel, service and stay. We took a cooking class here and it was taught by Chef Chiara and she did an awesome job! Check it out! And ask for her!

Undoubtedly the least enjoyably place we stayed on our honeymoon. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly, but that was where our positive experience stopped. The hotel is spread across 3 separate buildings, and there are no elevators, so good luck with your bags. Our first night I was up till 2AM because our air conditioner was broken. The front desk said they would look for a fan, and took almost 2 hours to find one. The next morning I see several fans in the lobby that were on the reception staff. The reception staff for the morning was rude and not hospitable to work with. Also they did not change our towels out as my wife’s freshly folded towel was indeed the one from the day before. This hotel advertises amenities that are not on site, and they do not have shuttles to transport you to their sister hotels. They tried to save the day by “upgrading” our room because they could not fix the air, and we thought this was a nice gesture. Except that we had to repack everything and move our own bags back down the flight of steep stairs and across the village to the other building. We were so happy with the new room, until the evening came. The room is right next to a bar that stays open until 2-3AM and blasts club music that shakes the room. You will not get any sleep here. Honestly for 420€ a night, you’d be better off sleeping under a bridge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Yelp
This place is beautiful and so unique! When we walked into the room I was shocked at how spacious it was and such an amazing view! Everyone was very accommodating and even opened breakfast early for us as we had to leave very early the day we left. I would highly recommend the hotel as well as this area to anyone!
