Palazzo Marziale

We had a wonderful stay at the Palazzo Marziale. The location is ideal for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. The hotel amenities are generous and the staff are exceptional, knowledgeable and above and beyond helpful. The room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and had a variety of choices. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning.

Palazzo Marziale was the perfect place to stay on our first visit to Italy. Its location, right in the heart of Sorrento and just one minute from the lift, could not have been more convenient.|Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and featured a marble bathroom with plenty of counter space and a luxurious double shower. We were delighted to have a Juliette balcony where we could watch the sunrise each morning—and even witnessed three weddings during our stay!|The breakfast room was small but charming, and since we were up early, it was never crowded. Breakfast itself was delicious, with a wide variety of options including eggs, bacon, crepes, and pastries that changed daily. The staff even offered “to-go” boxes for mornings when we needed to leave before the scheduled breakfast time.|Every member of the staff was warm and welcoming. Someone was always available to answer questions or greet us after a long day exploring the coast. Simona, in particular, was incredibly helpful—even before our arrival—by providing information about local tours, transportation, and patiently answering all of my questions. Their restaurant recommendations were also excellent.|We would not hesitate to stay at Palazzo Marziale again on our next trip to Sorrento—and I truly hope that will be soon.

This hotel is the best value in Sorrento. Historical charm, perfect location, classy and elegant. You feel very special which hard to get nowadays. Exceptional service, they will accommodate your every request, like parking your car, which is impossible to do on your own in Sorrento. You stay like in a Nobel residence but it has all modern and luxurious features. Fantastic breakfast, definitely cooked in small batches and with love!

We stayed at Palazzo Marziale for one night and really enjoyed the atmosphere.|The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Sorrento, just a few steps from Piazza Tasso and the historic lanes. It has lots of charm – a bit of a labyrinth, with beautifully restored rooms, each carrying an original name and style. You can tell it was renovated with care a few years ago, maintaining the historic feel while adding comfort.||The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.||A couple of small downsides: the minibar in our room was quite loud, and the breakfast was rather modest considering the price (€15 per person extra).||Overall, though, a lovely and characterful stay – ideal for travellers who appreciate charm and atmosphere more than perfection.

We stayed for 5 days. Our room gave us a perfect view of the bay and a nice room. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The people at the front desk went above and beyond to help out with anything we asked them. If we're ever back in Sorrento this is the place we'll stay at.

This was a stellar choice for our hotel during our stay in Sorrento! It is located mere steps from the downtown area. The hotel and it's suites are beautiful and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was second-to-none. The staff are polite and very friendly. We couldn't ask for more.....and WILL be returning!

Fabulous! Beautiful place. Very well groomed, great service team! |Position perfect! Only thing I believe needs work is the breakfast area is poorly organised. We arrived 8.30. Bread ran out and no small rolls or other. Waiter was great but 3 other service staff stood around chatting. Don’t look at refilling bread, mushrooms etc. |not a big deal but could be done better. Overall 4.9

We had a lovely stay at Palazzo Marziale. The staff was so gracious and kind, the location was very convenient to the ferries and restaurants and the breakfast variety was amazing. We decided to set up a transfer to the train station the day before our departure, they very helpful in getting this set up for us! I would absolutely recommend staying here!

We arrived in Sorrento without a hotel reservation and were fortunate to come upon Hotel Palazzo Marziale as we entered the town. We stopped in and were instantly greeted by Gia. The Hotel was amazingly beautiful. The rooms provided plenty of space to move around in. It was clean and the beds are nice and comfortable. The bathrooms are updated, spotless and they offer guests bath robes. My wife liked that they provide a big bottle of shampoo and conditioner. The Hotel offers a happy hour on the patio from 6 pm -7 pm nightly. We sat out on a 2nd story patio patio watching people coming in from the harbor as we enjoyed our wine and cheese. The rooms for the price, which was just under 100 euro's, is a bargain. What you get at this hotel is 5 star service at a 3 star rate. Sasha and Gia are awesome. They were friendly and treated our party great. I would highly recommend Palazzo Marziale if you are staying in Sorrento.

Beautiful building, appeared to be new, clean room with crisp white linens and nice location.

We stayed at Palazzo Marziale in Sorrento for 2 nights after our wedding in Praiano to kick off our honeymoon and could not have been more pleased! The property is beautiful, centrally located and the service was top notch! Rita was extremely helpful in making phone calls to rental car agencies on our behalf after some issues and also helped to arrange a car to bring us to pick-up our vehicle upon check-out. She also gave some great local restaurant recommendations. The breakfast service in the morning was delicious and the rooms are very clean and well decorated. You will not be disappointed!
