Palazzo Montecasino

Not only looks like an Italian Palace, but you are treated like royalty. The design of the building is absolutely beautiful. The rooms well equipped with an extensive minibar, very comfortable beds, a shower room, a bath and i loved the chocolate bar left by the pillow. The windows open to gardens. Birds singing and if you choose the rooms facing the main inner gardens, you heart the sound of water, from the fountains. Roses everywhere. Ground floor rooms have their own outside 2 chairs/table. The swimming pool is huge and welcoming. You can a massage by the pool as 3 properly set up stalls, with professionals. Inside There's the spa, a bar, an amazing restaurant and staff that will delight you. I had trouble with my restaurant bill, it's new, and charged other colleagues' bill to mine and vice versa. Just check carefully, but the reception desk will be delighted to help you and correct if any mistakes are found. From the building you have an internal access to the Montecasino main entrance and the Birds Paradise zoo. The bar area gets busy and noise afternoons, after everyone is enjoying a drink before going out to the extensive restaurants on offer in the casino, or awaiting the Uber to Sandown's Nelson Mandela's square. If i could, i would have stayed here another week. Great breakfast selection as well. Recommended

Was given a non smoking room (booked smoking) , the managers quickly attended to the issue. Upgraded us and gave a free gift to apologize. The staff was very helpful full and made our stay very welcoming. The facilities are top and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Very impressed with this hotel on my first visit. Great attention to detail great pool area great food cleaning was immaculate, and the staff were outstanding in every way they work so hard. I travel very frequently and this is definitely one of the best hotels.|Special mention to John the service guy for his politeness and thoughtfulness. What a caring guy.

I loved everything about this hotel. The room is gorgeous and cozy. The bath is deep. The windows open onto the beautiful gardens. You can hear the birds singing in the morning. The brekkie service was incredible. Staff are helpful and attentive without being intrusive.

We had the absolute worst stay with our aircon not working and cleaning service disturbing us before 8.30am on a saturday morning!! Absolutely not to standard for a 5 star hotel and as returning guests we are very disappointed.

Staff are friendly and very professional, personally i found them to have a welcoming smile when one walks to the foyer for a booking and the they will go out of their way to hold a door open for you and make your stay as luxurious as your finances allow. The pool is vast and a great spot to get emails done and relax at the same time. Food is not top. However,it's definitely not a letdown. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

In a room booked for 2 people, one would expect 2 towels, enough drinking water and 2 night time chocolate treats. To give 1 just creates conflict between how you share your limited resources.

Beautiful well manicured grounds & luxurious hotel, where one can enjoy a relaxing day soaking up the sunshine at the pool. Excellent service, courteous staff,relaxing ambiance. Close enough to the bird park & the Montecasino complex to walk or golf cart available.
