This is it, a perfect 10! The palazzo, hidden in the sleepy little town of Muro Leccese, is a beautiful old building and the perfect decor to hide away from your busy life for a couple of days. The owners, Enrico and Anna Maria, are very friendly and she is an excellent chef. Apart from breakfast we also had dinner there twice, and both times everything was very tasty and home made from fresh ingredients. As an extra option, the hotel has a spa with a hot tub, a sauna and a Turkish bath which we also loved. The beautiful sandy beach of Baia dei Turchi in Otranto and the vast natural park of Torcito can both be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Absolutely recommended!

Everything was wonderful. The atmosphere, the rooms, the breakfasts, the service, the garden... I liked the town so much! The location was perfect, we could hike in all directions. We stayed for three nights, the accommodation is excellent value for money. I recommend it to everyone. There's a fantastic restaurant and a cute cafe in the center, beautiful churches in the main square... go there and stay in the palace!||Enikő (Budapest)

Enrico and Anna-Maria are the consummate hosts who made us feel most welcome in their charming palazzo. The food was absolutely delectable—all homemade with fresh, quality ingredients in gourmet fashion. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay!!

Amazing accommodation with incredible hosts. This was surely of the our highlight of our trip in Puglia. ||We loved our stay in Palazzo Muro Leccese. Every detail was perfect, the decoration of the whole palace, the room, the shared spaces… everything was perfect.||The room was large, tastefully decorated, incredibly clean, great bed linen and had all the amenities needed. ||The breakfast was out of this world, everything was home made (foccaccia bread, cakes, marmalade,…) with love and products sourced locally. They really make you feel at home. ||Enrico gave us really good tips of things to do around the area. We stayed three days and were sad to leave when we had to. ||We would really recommend this to anyone visiting the south of Puglia. It is also well located to visit the east, west and south coast. Hopefully we will come back one day!

The Palace is amazing. The inner court yard is very well maintained and Pitula, the dog was extremely friendly! The breakfast was every day different and the cakes were to die for! Don t miss the dinner! We had an amazing tasting menu. The host was wonderful, he helped us with all sorts of tours we could do, always with a smile and very welcoming! We will for sure return soon. It was a wonderful stay and we had an amazing time.

This hotel was the highlight of our trip to Puglia. I can’t find the words to describe the whole experience but I felt like home. The owners of the Palazzo are such nice people and they deeply took care of us… my wife was pregnant so they adapted all the breakfast to her needs. The food was just excellent. Not your supermarket stuff! Everything was home made with love and you could taste it - I’m a big fan of crostata and jams, and these were probably the best I had in my entire trip in Italy! The rooms and the palazzo decorated with tasteful decoration. We could do the Spa experience not the diner as we were travelling the entire day, but we surely said that if we were to come back to Puglia we would spend our entire trip in there! I sincerely couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. We will for sure come back for our next Puglia trip! Thanks for treating us so well.

The owners’ attention to detail in this fabulous oasis in Muro Leccese is the key to its excellence and charm. We began our walking tour of Salento here, and couldn’t have wished for a better venue and hosts. Food simply brilliant, both dinner and breakfast, all home cooked and locally sourced, for intense flavours and interest. Our room was full of charm, comfortable and characterful, as is the whole property. Thankyou both for your fabulous hospitality, and a lovely region of Italy to explore.

We could not have had a better time staying at Palazzo Muro Leccese. We stayed as a group of friends and we were treated so kindly. The food, rooms and experience exceeded every expectation. Also I will dream about having breakfast with their sweet and well-trained pup.
