Palazzo Nobile di San Donato Luxury B&B Guest House

This B&B is a step back into the 1800s—in the best way. The rooms are dressed in rich fabrics, antique frames, and warm patterns. Our window opened to a rolling-valley view straight out of a postcard, but the true charm lives with the people: Valentina and Natasha. From the moment we arrived, Valentina and Natasha cared for us like two favorite aunts abroad—always nearby to answer questions, share local tips, and send us out each morning with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. We visited five cities on this trip, and our brief time in Montepulciano stood out because we didn’t feel like tourists here—we felt like welcome guests in a beautiful home.

😊: Amazing concierge service. Valentina went over and beyond to provide us with a full itinerary (including all bookings) of the best places to see, eat and drink in the area. Thanks to her thoughtful itinerary we maximised our 3 days to the full. Breakfast was a lovely addition with fresh fare as well as fresh bakery from the hotel's bakery. This is a very personal hotel and we were made to feel very special. It is part of a group which also owns three excellent restaurants and other accommodation. The hotel is very connected with the top wine producers in the region so can provide VIP bookings. Breakfast was delicious. The old style Palazzo room was fitted with modern comfort ... comfortable beds, excellent linen, modern shower, plenty of drinking water courtesy of the hotel (essential in the heat of summer), quiet room, spacious ensuite, good WiFi etc. Looking forward to our next trip there..

Wow wow wow! What an amazing and pleasant stay! We felt like we were back in the 1800s living like royals! Valentina and the rest of the staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They made sure that our stay was perfect with perfect restaurant recommendations & places to visit. The pink room was absolutely stunning ! I wish bed and pillow were more confortable but they were not bad. Also, I wish the bathroom matched the rest of the room. Highly recommended! Breakfast was perfect. Simple and enough to get your day started. Location was optimal. This place is a must!

Amazing stay here in Montepulciano. Location could not be better - it's at the top of the hill, right in the main square and within walking distance of all major attractions in the town. Rooms were fantastically decorated, super clean and huge! The breakfast was super nice with plenty to choose from and eggs, meat made to order. The staff also really went out of their way to assist us during our stay with recommendations for restaurants, tours, wineries and helping to book these and taxi services as needed. 100% recommend and we will definitely return!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself is beautiful and the service is next level. We had breakfast made for us every day, at the time we chose, by a personal chef. The location of the hotel was great and right in the center where we had easy access to everything. The hotel us with all of our excursions/plans and made some great suggestions. The cocktail class that we did at the hotel was one of my favorite activities! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend them.

Our stay at this hotel in Montepulciano was simply exceptional. It’s located right in the heart of the village, literally on the main square, inside a stunning palazzo full of historic charm. Despite the centuries-old building, all modern amenities are perfectly integrated, making the stay both authentic and comfortable. Breakfast was incredible, and we were truly pampered by the attentive staff. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a genuine Italian experience!

😊: Wonderful historic atmosphere in the suite. The location of the palazzo right near the grand piazza was ideal to enjoy Montepulciano in the evening. Incredible views from our room over the countryside of Tuscany.. 😢: Staff were helpful but a bit chaotic with information and we had to follow up several times to get confirmations of things.

😊: The our accomodacion was perfect! Especcialy Signiora Valentina was a perfect and proffessionial guide, concierge , fantastic persone wery helpfull.
