Palazzo Nobile di San Donato Luxury B&B Guest House

Wow wow wow! What an amazing and pleasant stay! We felt like we were back in the 1800s living like royals! Valentina and the rest of the staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They made sure that our stay was perfect with perfect restaurant recommendations & places to visit. The pink room was absolutely stunning ! I wish bed and pillow were more confortable but they were not bad. Also, I wish the bathroom matched the rest of the room. Highly recommended! Breakfast was perfect. Simple and enough to get your day started. Location was optimal. This place is a must!

😊: We loved everything about this place. The location was fantastic, the rooms were stunning (we had a few as we were travelling with family), the staff were so friendly and had great recommendations, WiFi was super fast and reliable and the breakfast everyday was delicious- it really exceeded expectations.. 😢: The only thing which I am pretty sure you have no control over is the glass bottles being recycled every morning. That woke us everyday. Not the end of the world but 8am was early..

This B&B is a step back into the 1800s—in the best way. The rooms are dressed in rich fabrics, antique frames, and warm patterns. Our window opened to a rolling-valley view straight out of a postcard, but the true charm lives with the people: Valentina and Natasha. From the moment we arrived, Valentina and Natasha cared for us like two favorite aunts abroad—always nearby to answer questions, share local tips, and send us out each morning with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. We visited five cities on this trip, and our brief time in Montepulciano stood out because we didn’t feel like tourists here—we felt like welcome guests in a beautiful home.

Amazing stay here in Montepulciano. Location could not be better - it's at the top of the hill, right in the main square and within walking distance of all major attractions in the town. Rooms were fantastically decorated, super clean and huge! The breakfast was super nice with plenty to choose from and eggs, meat made to order. The staff also really went out of their way to assist us during our stay with recommendations for restaurants, tours, wineries and helping to book these and taxi services as needed. 100% recommend and we will definitely return!

Our stay at this hotel in Montepulciano was simply exceptional. It’s located right in the heart of the village, literally on the main square, inside a stunning palazzo full of historic charm. Despite the centuries-old building, all modern amenities are perfectly integrated, making the stay both authentic and comfortable. Breakfast was incredible, and we were truly pampered by the attentive staff. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a genuine Italian experience!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself is beautiful and the service is next level. We had breakfast made for us every day, at the time we chose, by a personal chef. The location of the hotel was great and right in the center where we had easy access to everything. The hotel us with all of our excursions/plans and made some great suggestions. The cocktail class that we did at the hotel was one of my favorite activities! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend them.

We are so glad we booked our week long stay at Palazzo San Donato in Montepulciano. Gracie Mille to all staff, everyone was extremely helpful with exceptional hospitality. ❤️ Our room was excellent, we stayed in the pink (princess) room that overlooks Palazzo Grande. A very special thank-you to Valentina for planning and booking our excursions (cellar tours, pasta factory tour, horseback riding, cheese factory tour, two wine tours with lunch, a visit to Parco Villa Trecci, and dinner choices for the week, everything was perfect! Even though we had some rain, it didn’t stop us from exploring the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Another special thank-you goes to Natasha and Yvona’s hospitality and preparing a beautiful and yummy breakfast each morning. Porta di Bacco Osteria Enoteca, which is part of the Palazzo San Donato companies is a must go! Decor, ambience, service, and food were top notch. Vi amiamo tutti e non vediamo l'ora di tornare 🥰

Absolutely wonderful experience. The Palazzo is in an excellent location right in the center, which was where portions of the Twilight Saga, New Moon was filmed, (I did not realize this until I was there). This one of the few places that I saw or found that is actually in the town of Montepulciano. You can walk to everything! Soooooo many enoteca’s, and wine cantina’s, not to mention the huge variety of restaurants! ||The hotel is wonderful! Great breakfast with an amazing staff! Valentina was absolutely fabulous!!! And went above and beyond to make this the most memorable experience! Amazing service! Valentina went above and beyond to make this the best experience, and the attention to the smallest details were amazing! ||Me and my best friend also did a cooking class onsite, and it was wonderful! I try to do a cooking class every time I am in Italy, and this one was by far my favorite!||I truly can’t wait to stay here again!
