My wife found this wonderful place on line and got tremendous service from their online booking service. The place was easy to find in a great location close to all the action. The room was fantastic, we had a balcony in the back that looked out over the rustic neighbourhood and had a great view of the lean tower just a block away. Did I mention the BREAKFASTS? We never had a bad meal in Italy and this place was really our first introduction to just how good hotel food can be. Great room at a reasonable price with a fantastic breakfast, can't go wrong here!

Just wrapped up a stay here and it was wonderful. Tucked away in a quiet canal yet so close to everything. Great restaurants nearby. Staff was helpful and friendly. Vanessa was really helpful to answer our questions and made sure we had what we needed.

Perhaps my favourite hotel ever! In the midst of a happily exhausting galavant across Italy, this place was a true moment of peace and relaxation. I love that it felt more like a home than a hotel. I picked this place for the terraces/balconies and I was so happy I did - it gave me a sense of having my own special space in Venice. Wonderful staff - so helpful and so kind. Thank you for having me, I want to come back!!

I spent three nights here in December 2023. Obviously it was a bit of a quiet period in Venice and we were upgraded for free from a room to a large suite. Great room, and spotlessly clean. Heating/AC unit made the room very comfortable at night. Fast WiFi. The mattress was comfy. Very quiet area and good location to explore Venice from. The staff were wonderful. Delicious breakfast was delivered to our room exactly on time every morning. Nothing negative to say!

Palazzo Schiavoni was absolute perfection for our stay in Venice. The room we stayed in was modern, spacious and the view over the canal from the balcony completed the picture (see attached photo). The location for us was also ideal as it was only a short walk to all the important cultural sites, yet far enough from the chaos of the central areas, which avoided the noise from all the people traffic. The staff are also very friendly, knowledgeable and will give you advice and tips to make your stay as pleasant as possible, as they are also locals and know the city inside out. We had breakfast included in our stay that was freshly prepared each morning, which was more than enough to keep us going till lunch. I want to be clear that this is not a big 5 star, chain brand resort type of hotel. It is smaller and more intimate and we would chose to stay here every time given the opportunity. To everyone on staff, thank you for making our stay so memorable. Keep up the good work!

Good place for a longer stay. The rooms are very clean, including the kitchen, kitchen appliances and bathroom. Good view of the canal; in the morning, a little noisy, because everything necessary is brought and taken through the canal. You can reach everywhere with a short walk. The water taxi can also stop in front of the hotel. The staff is polite and helpful, they helped in every way we needed. I recommend it; take warmer clothes with you because it was still quite chilly in April.

My husband, two young kids and I stayed here for a week and it was fantastic. The location was perfect — out of the crowds of San Marco but an easy walk to everything, even with the kids. The apartment had everything we needed, and I’ll be dreaming of the balcony overlooking the canal for the rest of my life. But the owners and staff were what made our stay here really special. When our 7-year-old took a spill and needed to visit the ER late at night, they went out of their way to be helpful and kind. We hope to be back one day!

The rooms were nice and tidy with an inspiring view of a canal. The hotel is quite small scale, but still cozy. The staircase leading up and now is practically single file, but the hotels small capacity means that 9/10, you won't be meeting anyone other than staff going up or down. The included breakfast was fine, if not a little lacking. A small basket of bread with various topping you can apply yourself. The server frequently offers small additions like refills to orange juice, tea, hot coco, yogurt and finally serves a big slice of cake with whipped cream, which can get a little extra after an already bread filled breakfast. I feel like it would be better if the waiter asked first if anyone wanted cake, and then proceeded. Otherwise friendly staff, nice central location with the entirety of Venice within walking distance, 4/5
