My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. We were kindly upgraded to a junior suite, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We loved the location it felt peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, yet still convenient. The restaurant right next door served delicious vegan pizzas, which we absolutely enjoyed, and there's also a supermarket nearby that made it easy to stock up on water and other essentials. Overall, it was the perfect place to

Simply wonderful. The front desk staff is amazing - a level of hospitality, warmth and helpfulness I've not often experienced. From organizing a gondola ride for my in-laws to booking water taxis to the islands and the airport, we felt exceptionally well taken care of. All in all I really can't overstate how welcome we felt and how flawlessly the staff dispatched all our requests.||The bartenders definitely also deserve a mention - extremely knowledgeable and attentive, with a very wide repertoire. I recommend ordering one of their superb cocktails and having a sitdown in the cozy courtyard, just outside the main entrance.||Rooms are elegant, very quiet, impeccably cleaned every day, and with very effective AC (trust me, you'll want this during summer) and comfortable beds.||The location, in my opinion, is great - a 5-10 minute walk from the San Basilio cruise terminal means you can get almost all the way to the hotel by car (although I do recommend a water taxi for the experience). Piazza S. Marco and the Rialto bridge are both around 20 minutes away, but this just means you're in a calmer, less touristy part of town with lots of good eating and drinking options nearby. And if you're tired of walking there's always the Vaporetto to and from nearby Zattere.||Amazing hotel, will definitely stay here in the future!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely property. Breakfast is amazing with so many choices. Room was very comfortable and clean. The front desk Staff were amazing as they provided information, assistance with water taxi and train travel, and were extremely patient with our many questions. There is a bar on property and the bartender was excellent. The property was a 25 minute walk to St. Mark's or an 8 minute water bus. There are many restaurants adjacent to the hotel. Rooms costs were as expected for the location and many amenities provided.

Perfect location - great away from the crowds but close enough - nice shower head/pressure, A/C great - comfortable Jr. Suite - staff very helpful - assisting in appointment/reservations/directions - garden view - quite on 4th floor slept well. Real value in an expensive city. Near to Sn. Basilio port for some ships - nice easy walk. Easy to walk around the hotel and up narrow streets to great restaurants. Weather was cooler, This hotel would be great year round. Nice outdoor space.

We enjoyed a lovely three day stay at Palazzo Veneziano in early September. |We took a semi private water taxi from the airport (highly recommend - used Get Your Guide and had a great experience) and they dropped us off at the dock immediately in front of the hotel.|The sidewalk presence is very subtle (we accidentally walked into the hotel next door the first time) but the walkway leads into a tiny garden and then perfunctory lobby. Front desk staff spoke very good English and were unfailingly polite and helpful; they're also well versed in communicating via Whatsapp and we were able to easily arrange for water taxi to the train station using their services at time of departure.|We were "upgraded" from the superior room we booked to a duplex and while it wasn't so much of an upgrade as a different layout (we were two people and needed only one bed, not two, and only one bathroom had a shower), we appreciated the gesture. The guest note was addressed to the couple who had evidently cancelled their stay and not to us but we didn't care. |We never ended up eating or drinking at the hotel so I can't comment on that, but our room was cool and very quiet with wonderful black out shades. The wifi worked well, the water pressure was perfect and the bathrooms were nicely laid out with plenty of room for toiletries.|The location - as many have mentioned - is significantly removed from the chaos of central Venice in all the best ways. It was a 20-30 min walk to many of the restaurants in San Polo and San Marco but we really appreciated how serene our hotel was, especially at the end of a busy day of exploring.|We'd absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it for its (not so central, in the best ways!) location, the comfort of the room and the quality of the amenities and features and for the hospitality of every staff member we encountered.

Travelling with my wife, we were very impressed with this property. The room super clean, modern and had ample space which included a loft with a Jacuzzi. Bathroom was somewhat small but was very manageable. We had some large luggage and the water taxi was directly across from the Hotel so it made it very easy on arrival and departure.|Staff was great and bar tenders were friendly and sociable.

Such a beautiful hotel in a great location! Easy access to transportation and short walk to San Marco Square. Much quieter streets and restaurant options next door overlooking the water. The staff were very helpful, accommodating and bar tenders make excellent drinks! We booked the terrace hot tub room, well worth it!

Google
Palazzo Veneziano is an exceptional hotel. Its location is perfect and the view of the canal is spectacular. The staff is outstanding, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. They are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, providing us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions throughout Venice. They arranged a great trip to a glass factory in Murano and even assisted us in getting our large group to the terminal in the pouring rain. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and the staff!

Yelp
Like most of Venice the Palazzo Veneziano is predictably overpriced, though the 4* property's location far from most of the tourists is admittedly nice. From the chic lobby to internal courtyards everything about the common areas screams elegance, though rooms purporting a "canal view" are hit n' miss. Booked a jacuzzi room for roughly 380 Euros a night and could only see a minor canal looking right despite 180 degree windows. Breakfast is extra and amenities are limited. Your dollar will go further elsewhere.

Yelp
We loved this hidden gem tucked away from the crowds of San Marco. One vaporetto stop from St Mark's square. The 5.1 line from Zaatare to Zaccharia and 5.2 vaporetto from Zaccharia (st mark's square to Zaatare). You can also walk to all the attractions in around 20-25 min. My favorite was spots close by were the Galleria del Accademia (museum of Venetian artists early works), Grom (gelato), accademia bridge, and Osteria de Squero for cichetti (Italian style tapas). The view from 409 was lovely and best part was how our quiet room allowed us slept in without issues. We had the breakfast package and it enhanced our stay. The staff were very polite and helpful. The front desk gave detailed directions to everywhere on paper maps. My friend stayed here in October 2023 on the first floor but the 4th floor view this time had her bowled over!

Yelp
Call me crazy, but I didn't know that Venice was an island and that you needed to use a water taxi to get to your hotel! Yes, believe it, I didn't have any idea until I arrived! This location was right off the La- a Giudecca and was sort of in the middle of everything. No matter what, in Venice, take your walking shoes. I learned that, and my daughter, the day we decide to walk in heals to the Gondola!

Yelp
Amazing customer service! The best that I've received from any of the hotels that I've ever been to! It was my second time to Venice and was debating between 2 hotels and although the other hotel location was appealing as it was next to the train station for our Milan day-trip, I just couldn't pass on Palazzo. I had booked a bundle deal through Expedia and Palazzo staff had contacted me through Expedia, welcoming me and was always "at our disposal" as they would state at the end the DM. They staff were so helpful arranging transportation from airport to hotel and making restaurant reservation for us, as it was costly last time making that international calls on our first trip. Palazzo location is actually ideal as it's on the quiet outskirt where water boats are plenty and 20 minutes walking vicinity of the main St. mark's square as opposed to 30minutes walk from hotels near the train station. With the hotel's location, you have 3 options of transportation from the airport. 1)water boat 2)private car + water boat, or 3) private car + around 7 minute walk. Typically from the Venice airport, if you take the taxi, they will take you to the train station, but for Palazzo, you would be taken to Basilio, which is the seaport and a lot closer to the hotel. 7 minute walk from Basilio as opposed to 20 minutes walk from the train station. We took the third option and for 3 people with big luggages, it was $75 euro in cash. Once you arrive, the driver will be holding a sign with your last name. Car ride in the sprinter van is around 25 minutes and for the 7 minutes walk, another staff will come to guide you to the hotel and help with the luggage. Didn't ask, but I'm not quite sure if regular taxis can come through the Basilio but it didn't look like that it would be so definitely check with the hotel in advance if you plan to just take taxi. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a family room, which was a nice surprise to have a separate area between the 3 of us. It was a loft style so we can still hear each other but there was a separate king size bed upstairs with a half bathroom and closet. Everything was super clean and comfortable, such as the bed, pillows, and the shower. I believe the upgrade was possible as we had visited during off season. Nevertheless, was super grateful and was the best hotel experience that we've had. Oh and in case you need a late night snack, Palazzo is right next to Pizzeria Oke, which was amazing! Overall, would definitely come back to Palazzo for our future Venice visit.

Yelp
Fabulous new hotel. Ultramodern. Everything works. Nice breakfast buffet and many sitting areas. Pricing was strongly dependent on the day of the week. I booked on the hotel website and saw a total price for 7 nights in mid December of 849 euros. On closer inspection, I noticed this was 94 a night Sunday through Thursday, 134 on Friday and 245 on Saturday. Everyone working here is polite and impeccably stylish. Most of the guests are equally well-dressed. Don't hang out in your sweats. Wear black. I'd requested a quiet room, but asked about the views. The first one was indeed quiet, but looked out into the opposite building in the courtyard, which seemed pretty dull for a week. The nice, and preternaturally handsome gentleman at the desk showed me another room on the top (5th) floor. It was a little smaller, but had a terrace with a great view and a JACUZZI!! Clearly an upgrade, but no extra charge. Tip well. Good WiFi, but with no password. Netflix worked, and with the right lightening-HDMI adapter you can stream to the 42 TV. They were very quick to help with the cable. There's an fine small supermarket, Conrad's, 50 meters to the right, and a frig/minibar in the room. It's about a 20 minute walk to St. Marks. The Guggenheim and Gallerie Academia are quite close. Breakfast and a bar, no restaurant in the hotel, but plenty to choose from very nearby. Great small boutique hotel, and at the weekday rates, a screaming bargain. PS. Don't do laundry. Prices are wild. 18 euros to wash and press a shirt.

Yelp
Fantastic Venetian hotel on the Giudecca canal. You can't go wrong here. The rooms are lovely and the Dosodoro neighborhood is quiet and a comfortable stroll from the more crowded touristy areas. I went for relaxing morning walks everyday from this hotel, up and down the Giudecca canal. You get to experience a different side of Venice here, close to the Università Ca' Foscari, and I was all for it. There are a couple nice restaurants nearby that have outdoor seating, and the locally famous Gelateria Nico is close by. There is a water taxi station nearby that was convenient bc it took us to Giudecca quite easily, and Giudecca's art scene is really growing. It also took us to the train station, etc. Of course we stopped at Harry's for a Bellini and to enjoy the view of the hotel + neighborhood from just across the canal. We were in Venice during The Redentore festival, and our trip was no less than magical, in large part due to this stunning hotel. Wonderful memories. I will make it back here. Did I mention there is champagne at breakfast?

Yelp
s of the canal. The staff is lovely and helpful. Julian was particularly helpful in finding a car to take us to the airport and answering any of our questions. I love and recommend this beautiful hotel. I wish I could live here.

Yelp
We stayed in this hotel on our most recent trip to Venice. The hotel is beautiful with wonderful views of the canal. The staff is lovely and helpful. Julian was particularly helpful in finding a car to take us to the airport and answering any of our questions. Would recommend this beautiful hotel.

Yelp
Venice, Italy, is one of the most beautiful cities on the world and finding out HL booked us into a beautiful brand new upscale hotel here made our stay that much more exceptional! From the outside you can't imagine you will be walking into a stunning entry way with the front desk staff waiting to help you immediately. Lucky for us everyone speaks English and were more than happy to make restaurant suggestions as well as assist with "walking" directions. I had a big smile on my face as we entered a well appointed room that smelled new. It felt luxurious in every way with the large king bed, huge chaise lounge and marble bathroom. This morning we were amazed at the fantastic buffet breakfast selections. The bar located across from the entry lounge is fully stocked to take care of every aperitif imaginable. HL found this hotel by reading reviews on trip advisor and boy am I glad he did...I highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Venice to book this hotel in advance. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Wow what a spot. Venice is filled with amazing hotels, but few combine the combination of modern luxury and old age ambiance. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the Grand Canale, but close enough you can be anywhere in 20 minutes of walking. The entrance is hidden and when you get there it is like finding a hidden jewel. The staff is terrific and super helpful in all things. We were able to get an inexpensive upgrade to the honeymoon suite, so make sure to ask if any are available. that room was awesome. With floor to ceiling windows and it is two stories with a lovely jacuzzi spa above. We loved the four poster bed, the luxurious pillows and the wonderful bathroom as well. What an incredible place. The breakfast buffet is also very nice with an extensive collection of cuisines. It isn't large, but it is very well laid out.

Yelp
This hotel is a beautiful, modern hotel, tucked away in a quiet part of the city. The hotel provided all the amenities you would expect for the cost. Great breakfast buffet. The room was spotless and appeared to have been recently renovated. The service was excellent. Best feature is the location. It is a short walk to all the tourist traps of Venice, but it is far enough away that you can go for a quiet walk in the evening. There are a few restaurants, bars and gelato places right outside the door. One issue. When we stayed (June 2018) the next door building was under construction. Our room faced the construction site. The workers began promptly at 7:30 every morning. Fortunately, we are early risers, so this did not bother us. But it appears that they will be working for some time. So you should inquire if you like to sleep late.

Yelp
This place is better than the hotels in Las Vegas we have stayed at the same price range! I love the modern upgrades in the hotel. Breakfast buffet is included!

Yelp
We were pleased with this selection and location is nice too. Rooms are modern and clean, small like most European hotels but very classy. Breakfast was good. Customer service here is good, very helpful if you need anything at all. The walk to San Marco Square is probably 15 minutes. Great pizzeria restaurant right next door, the OKE serving much more than pizza, wish we had known about sooner. First class place, would recommend!

Yelp
On December 24th 2019 my girlfriend and i made reservations to travel to Italy in 2020. Unfortunately the COVID 19 pandemic created travel bans and we were not allowed to travel out of the United States. The cost of the room was 585.82. All of the airlines, other hotels, and accommodations were gracious to refund our money due to the unforeseen circumstances. All except for the Palazzo Veneziano. They refused to refund our reservations. I disputed the charge after multiple attempts to work out a refund with the hotel. On March 17th, 2020, I was issued a "conditional refund" by the credit card issuer pending outcome of the dispute. The hotel challenged, fought, and won the dispute, and I was re-charged for the stay on April 18th, 2020. The hotel offered to give me a voucher that could be used for 24 months if I wanted to visit which was acceptable to me. On September 23rd, 2020 they canceled the voucher saying that I was successful in my dispute, which is false. To be sure, I contacted my Credit Card company and they confirmed that I was NOT refunded and that the hotel was likely taking advantage of me because of the Pandemic and me being in another country. This hotel is taking advantage of people that were forced to not be able to travel due to the worldwide pandemic, especially those that were coming from overseas.

Yelp
The staff at this hotel were VERY helpful and patient. The location was very good as well. We were able to walk everywhere, of course, and there were 2 vaporetto stops which could get us anywhere we needed to go. Awesome place!
