"Wherefore art thou Palazzo Victoria? About a quarter mile from Juliet's balcony. But there is nothing star-crossed about guests' love for this hotel, a medley of historic eras, dating to the 14th century with a 21st century atmosphere catering to a wide swath of international travelers. Handmade furniture in the sleeping rooms, frescoes and tapestries in the suites, contribute to the out-of-time sensation."

Staff very friendly. They where happy to upgrade us as it was our honeymoon. Breakfast was good. Again staff happy to accommodate my large eating habits. Room was clean, only negative was for a 5star hotel it looked like it's in need of a bit if maintenance.

The staff was friendly and the location is great but unfortunatly it was not that luxurious 5-star hotel that we expected from the photos and online description. Our room was in a bad condition. Things were old an broken and the bathroom was dirty. We reported the defects immediately at reception and noted, that we are unhappy with the situation. We were assured that the staff will take care but nothing happened. The price-performance ratio was quite bad.

Verona was our last stop of 2 weeks road trip through Italy - it was the perfect ending to a perfect holiday! We loved it in this hotel! They upgraded our room due to an accidental overbooking, they didn't make us any inconvenience with it they just gave us a better room without blinking an eye - thank you so much again! It was fabulous, very large room with high standard furnishing and bathroom amenities. Service was excellent, big thank you to all employees, keep doing what you're doing! We only ate breakfast there as we were out all day exploring having lunch and dinner in town, but the breakfast was really nice! Good variety of things(fresh juices, all kinds of little pastries etc) and they would make anything you ask for as well. The elevators are small which we didn't find an annoyance but a funny thing- that's just how the houses are built there so they try to fit everything into them, all part of the experience :-) I guess the only thing that people who are not too well on foot would not like is the parking situation- the car parks are kinda in the outskirts of town and a little to walk (no problem for us thought - and don't worry about your luggage, they'll take care of it for you) I can highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy Verona in a more luxurious ambience in a great location! Close to city centre and Juliets house etc.

Very "matter of fact welcome". Room clean but very small, hardly enough space to move around. Breakfast food good quality but queueing for tables on second day. Bar shut on second evening for private party so had to go out for a drink. Doesn't warrant a 5star rating hotel.

Not worthy of a 5 star rating!. We checked in today. We asked if it was possible to have an extra bed for our son and the front desk lady ended up yelling at my wife. We have been three weeks in Europe and never were treated like this. Do they train their people? Good location but other than it feels you are doing them a favor

Very nice hotel in central Verona, combining both modern elements but also retaining its charm. The room we had was perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff were almost universally friendly and helpful. The location in Verona is also pretty ideal.

Beautiful rooms (can be a little small) and the hotel is stunning from the ground up... Staff are responsive and room service are almost area all hours of the day, from topping up showing gels while at breakfast to dropping off replacement mineral water right before bed time.

I'm sure this place was really nice in 1986, unfortunately today it looks like the setting of the "Golden Girls". The Palazzo itself is good and the location quite special, but the hotel needs a pretty serious facelift. It's not rundown, but very dated. The bathroom in particular is old, with golden taps and an old school, quite weathered, jacuzzi. The communal areas are a mix between an old hotel, a monastry and a European country hospital. It's not all that bad, but it is way overpriced for that it is.
