Superb food, from the appetizer to main course everything was perfect. Salad, prawn, bread, lamb and pork everything was excellent.

I had an onion soup and partridge dish. My wife had the Castillian soup and an egg dish. The food was OK - the partridge was dry although the taste was good. The soup had little flavor. The house wine was astringent with no body. The "bread" was hard and tasteless. That may be by design but having had many spectacular Spanish meals,, this one fell in the bottom 5%. We are still in the pandemic and the restaurant was busy. The service was poor at best. The staff tried but they were too few. Finally, we paid almost 3x what we would have paid for the menu of the day elsewhere and we would have had simpler but likely tastier food.

Beautiful dining room with authentic 16th century patio. Wonderful soups, leg of lamb, and ox tail in sauce. Nice chef touches on the plates. Friendly and knowledgable server.

Traveling with a daughter with food allergies can be scary and frustrating. This restaurant was very helpful, despite our language barrier, to ensure my daughter had a safe and delicious meal. Additionally, my salmon toast was perfect light lunch for a hot summer day. Mucho Gracias!

tasty high quality tapas! more special than the standards: try wafer of guacamole and marinated tuna (2.50€), and the deer ...! Most tapas are below 3€ but note that they are small - they are more like tiny wonderful tapas pralines :-) so you need some of them and this will add up - but it‘s so worthy! Waiters are friendly and fast.

A sad overcharged meal. We ordered the typical "cochinillo toledano" , and were absolutely disapointed. No seasoning (too much salt thought) ,small portion, poor service. They are clearly doing it wrong as there was only 9 clients on a saturday night. Do NOT reccomend either for spanish or tourists.

Yelp
This was certainly not the cheapest meal of our Spain trip but we felt the dining experience justified the cost. It was a weekday lunch and we wanted to get away from the main square where all the tourists seemed to congregate. We waited until lunch was served around 1pm and got a nice cozy table in the corner where we could see the kitchen. We were the only diners in the restaurant but the bar up front was pretty busy and festive. We guessed locals probably don't spend this much on lunch but rather go for the tapas and drinks instead up front. We started with the warm leek and scallop cream soup and a roasted pepper salad. The cream soup came in a teapot and was poured over a beautifully seasoned and cooked perfectly scallop and shrimp. I managed to get most of the soup with my spoon otherwise I was ready to lick it up even though we were in public. I don't have anything to compare the cochinillo (suckling pig) to but it was on my list of foods I had to try in Spain. The skin was nice and crunchy while the meat was more fatty than I'd normally like. My wife had the partridge and thought it was pretty good. We got to enjoy a nice quiet lunch to ourselves and overall were happy with the food and service.
