This hotel is located on a hillside and the view from the room was really pretty. The room was nice and cosy. The bathroom was modern, and clean.|The staff is very kind here, they are smiling and helpful.|The breakfast is not very versatile, but if you spend here just few nights, it's ok.

I arrived at midnight and check in took a bit long. The room has 2 twin beds and sitting area. There is a small fridge and hot water pot. Bathroom amenities consist of bathe gel and shampoo, no conditioner. My room has a view of the city and looks down at the Analakely market. Complimentary breakfast is not bad but not special either. The hotel restaurant also serves lunch and dinner. There is a pool, stean room, spa and fitness equipment. There are restaurants nearby. I recommend the L'Orient Asian Fusion Restaurant, good food and great presentation. It's 2 minutes on the same street of the hotel. Overall I like the hotel and would stay here again.

Located in an old area of the city, this is a comfortable hotel with good views, friendly staff, decent food and spacious rooms. The bed is a bit firm for our tastes and the shower pressure can be a bit hit and miss. As you really can’t drink, or even clean your teeth in the tap water, not supplying free bottled water is a real drawback - this should be an essential inclusion.

We stayed here for one night in the beginning of october and we enjoyed it.||Staff is really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great and serves excellent food. From the terrace of the restaurant you have a magnificent view over a part of the city.||We also did a one hour massage and this was great we can highly recommend this.||The room we had was a little bit small especially next to the bed and the bathroom is basic. The shower is in a bath (not a separate shower). The basic and little bit small room is the only reason why this place doesn't get 5 stars form us. But from the balcony of our room we had the same magnificent view as from the restaurant.|| The hotel has also a small pool but we didn't use this.

A great choice for our Anatanariva stop over, with very welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. Refreshing pool and delicious food and drinks from the on site restaurant. Even though centrally located it was quiet at night.

My daughter and I spent two nights at this hotel in July at that start of our Madagascar tour. Rooms are well presented with great views of the city. Unfortunately we had quite a few mosquitoes in our room at night, no mosquito nets. If you stay here suggest you ask for mosquito coils, keep the air con running and make sure balcony room door is kept closed at all times.

Pallisandre Hotel was at the end of our trip and we had seen a bit of Madagascar before that. So in comparison to our stays elsewhere we found Pallisandre hotel staff very friendly, talkative, helpful and polite. The hotel has a heritage character with wooden stairs, floors etc. Pool wasnt well heated but otherwise Massage, steam etc. was super. The restaurant breakfast and meals after our feedback was much improved. The best part about the hotel is that they were flexible and responsive to our suggestions. We were tired of the typical European style breakfast served every single day of the trip and last day we got better breakfast and super Lunch before departure. So thumbs up for that.
