We spent 10 days here and, overall, it was a pleasant experience — we truly enjoyed every day on the island. I would just like to share some feedback for possible improvement.
After 10 days, the breakfast and dinner options became a bit repetitive, and we eventually lost our appetite for eating the same dishes every day. A little more variety would have been greatly appreciated.
Some extra flexibility would also have been welcome on our first evening. We arrived at the hotel tired at 9:40 pm, only to be told that dinner service had closed at 9:30 pm and that nothing was available to eat, apart from two slices of low-quality cold cuts and four breadsticks placed in our room. The fruit basket and wine mentioned in the booking details were also missing. This left us with no choice but to dine at a nearby restaurant — certainly not what we had hoped for after a 10-hour journey.
Another detail: after we pointed out that the wine was missing, it was placed in our room later in the evening, but simply left on a shelf. We returned late to find it warm, with no ice or refrigeration provided, which meant we couldn’t enjoy it. Small details like this can make a big difference.
Lastly, during our entire 10-day stay, no one from the restaurant or reception ever asked how our stay was going or whether we were enjoying ourselves. The only interaction from the wait staff was approaching the table to ask, “Finish?” before clearing plates.
That being said, we did have a very pleasant stay overall, and the property allowed us to feel relaxed and welcome.
