PALLAS

I reserved a table on the balcony a month ago and was really excited about the dinner. First of all, the atmosphere is amazing. We were there for dinner at sunset, and the view was stunning. The view alone is enough to recommend this place, especially if you reserve a table on the balcony. The food is experimental, and the concept is fine dining. However, I think the menu could be better designed. For example, it’s difficult to have a 3-4 course meal because the appetizers are quite large, and the main dishes are huge, making it impossible to finish everything in one sitting. We ordered cocktails, which I think was a mistake because they weren’t good. Wine is probably a better choice. Normally, I’d say the service was okay, but since the concept is fine dining, I expected more. Every dish took a long time to arrive. No one took away the finished plates or replaced them with new ones for the next course. I also waited 15 minutes just to pay the check.

We had brunch and the egg were hard - cooked all the way. For a place boasting a great breakfast menu this is not acceptable. The waiter was not in really good mood and didn’t reply to our Good morning.

There were 3 staff members at the entrance, with 2 of them engaged in conversation and 1 making a phone call. The 3 ignored us for a few minutes, but once we were seated, it was a good experience. The sushi was expensive but unexpectedly high quality.

This was a truly great location right by the harbour, eat in the shadow of the Superyacht docked in the port. The selection of dishes available is vast and has something for most tastes. Bread is baked in their own bakery and was really yummy. We had a fantastic ham and mango salad, which I still think about a week later. The waiters were attentive and the wines selected by the sommelier was spot on for our food choices. Highly recommend.

PALLAS, was off the charts. The service was fantastic. We were promptly seated. The menu is broken down into categories which makes it easy. The portions are extremely large enough to share, and you want to in order to save room for the dessert 🍨 which are great. Overall I hight recommend PALLAS.

This wasn't the first nice meal we had in Crete, but ut was the first time we had impeccable service. The view is extraordinary, and whilst it's a very large restaurant, they've successfully sectioned it off so you feel your every need is being attended to. Highly recommended.

ΠΑΛΛΑΣ Restaurant-Bar is a standout in Chania’s dining scene in the old harbour. The perfect blend of elegant ambiance, excellent food, and great service makes it a must-visit. The menu showcases fresh, local ingredients with a modern twist. The cocktail and wine selection is top-notch, and the staff is warm, knowledgeable, and attentive. Whether for drinks or a full meal, Palas offers a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal food. The sushi is excellent! Some of the freshest fish I’ve ever had. Excellent service. My fiancee has a serious nut allergy and they were extremely attentive to her needs. Great atmosphere looking out at the old harbor. An absolute must if you are in Old Town Chania.
