Pallikaranai wetland

Just a reminder to let the birds live in peace, stop by the busiest road to notice these beautiful lives being destroyed by the amount of garbage we produce. No better than place on each they can go, and let's not make it impossible to be around us. Join to witness the beautiful moments of these birds that visit us every year on the migratory season from December to March.

It's close to my home & my favourite place for birds photography. Only concern is encroachment on all sides and the dumpyard. Let's do everything to save it.

Nice place to experience the nature's. This place has various variety of trees, plants fantastic shrubs, and air quality is OK and sufficient air. It's close to mainroad and have good parking facilities. Lake/Pond is in front of entrance. Tree collection somewhat less, not in full portions of this place. Otherwise OK. There are sitouts, few 3 seating chairs and grass at middle of the park looks good to watch. Workers on the park do a wonderful maintenance work regularly especially on watering the plants, trees and also do cleaning work at the place significantly and precisely. Cons is there is no eateries, shops, rest rooms. Catfish come in groups, ducks and other flying birds on trees and lake water. Nice humming tunes you can hear from few of the birds. They sit and communicate each other near to the land, wow an eye-catching moment inside the land. Ducks and flying birds take a bath and go at water on one specific lane on the lake good to watch. Best place for taking photographs on your digital camera. Drinking water is available near to the entrance. Nice to go along with family and friends.

This is a great place for birding. It is a good spot for a quiet time out with your family. Especially in winter, one could see a good variety of migratory birds. One need to keep in mind that there is a huge waste dumb right next to the marshlands and the roads around are constantly under construction or renovation.

Awesome place to visit and get calm. Birdwatch facilities are not there but definitely an amazing place for joggers and photography. If you a long range lenses then this place will make you wild life photographer lol. Place need to be protected more, waste waters are mingling and bushes rate were reduced so govt has to take more action to protect it. Visit atleast once in a month to get relax.

Bird watching spot missing. Noice pollution and exhaust fume pollution is very high. UNTREATED SEWAGE water spoiling the time immorial wet land

indiscriminate dumping of toxic solid waste along the road, discharge of sewage have shrunk the perungudi /pallikaranai wetland to a great extent causing havoc during rains.

Nice Greenish land like kerala Government now protects encroachments in secured manner thankfull to the Tamilnafu Government by giving protection to this Gods gift of wetland very soon i hope this will be asset of Government property fully
