Perfect timing for a mulled wine and a bowl of complimentary crisps and a Crichton tech-thriller. There’s a gorgeous window around 4pm when the sun beams down Blythe Street across and warms up this cosy spot on High St. Always great retro tunes.

Great bar on High Street with an excellent selection of spirits and some beers on tap. Food available from nearby restaurants that you can order at the bar. Great beer garden out the back.

I was one of 3 people at the Bar on a Sunday afternoon. I was seated outside. No one served me, I went inside, I was ignored. I went inside for the second time and took the menu. The person working there ignored me and was telling a female all about his landscaping apprenticeship. I waited at my table, no water, no water for my dog, no service. I left.

This bar is one of the best bars in Thornbury. The drink selection isn’t huge, and the only cocktail they make well is the Pallino, but there is just something about it that makes it special. It’s a nice environment to be in, the design of the bar is understated, and the toilets are clean. The customer service is amazing, all the bartenders are warm and friendly, and this is a particularily safe place to drink if you’re female. I have always felt very welcomed by this warm and friendly environment. This place isn’t pretentious or intimidating, it’s just a really nice place to drink, run by a great manager and amazing staff.

Love this place. By far the best cocktail bar in Thornbury. Great staff, fun vibe, locals bar with a great selection of booze and nibbles. Great hidden beer garden out the back. If it's a sunny day and the front bar is empty- it's because all the locals are basking in the sun drenched beer garden outside!

The best bar in High St Thornbury! Owner Louise always makes her patrons feel welcomed. It's the perfect place to catch up with friends or just have a quiet drink. The ambience is on point. Well done to the team at Pallino!
