Palm Beach International Airport

After spending the year in Palm Beach and surrounding areas, I missed my family and was ready to get back to NC where I'm from and family. Flor the Delta assistant saw that I had to wait for my next flight which was about 10 hours wait. After purchasing the ticket she could look at me and tell I was exhausted, shared such kind words to me and I just figured all of the supreme airline was cordial. Flor told me to wait a minute and she walked into the back, stayed a few minutes and walked out with warm potatoes and sauce that she had made the night before. She also grabbed snacks in case I got hungry in the night or morning and placed it all in a grocery bag with drink included. Then took her time to take me to the quietest lounge couch I could get comfortable on, which meant she walked all the way downstairs for me to follow through just being a decent person. She's not just a good employee, she's the face of kindness from the heart and should be recognized among the elite

Ahhhh, West Palm Beach… sounds like a glamorous coastal paradise, right? With the amount of wealth in this town, you’d expect an airport that sparkles. Marble floors. Palm trees. Maybe a harpist. Wrong. Instead, you’ll be transported straight back to the 1980s—shoulder pads not included. The airport is under construction, parking is limited, and the terminal is so dated it feels like it might still accept traveler’s checks. It’s giving retro, but not in the fun, intentional way. It just doesn’t match the ritzy beach city it serves. Hopefully, once all the construction dust settles, this place will finally live up to its zip code. Until then… fingers crossed and expectations lowered.

I love traveling from this airport. It's not usually crowded and congested as others. The cops are always vigilant and keeps the traffic flowing. Since it's smaller the walk to your gate is not very far Staff overall are polite and attentive. Best this is getting there I find it quite scenic.

Palm Beach International Airport is very clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the travel experience smooth and pleasant. The food options are also great, with tasty choices for every traveler. A comfortable and enjoyable airport overall

Travelled to West Palm Beach for a church related function and was able to get a straight flight from Nashville TN to PBI, I like those non stop flights. The facility was very busy but very efficient, I was impressed with the way the Southwest agents processed us thru and the TSA officials were pleasant, also. The facility was presentable and clean, the restrooms were very clean. There was adequate power outlets to charge your devices and the choices for food was endless. Ample choices for picking up any needed necessities and even my rental car process was without any difficulty. I have flown to Fort Lauderdale in the past but I will use PBI from this time forward, they did a great job!

Palm Beach International Airport is hands down my favorite airport in Florida. It’s an efficient and easy-to-navigate airport that never feels overwhelming. The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole travel experience feel more relaxed. I’ve flown through here several times, and I’m always impressed by how short the lines are. Security moves quickly, and it never feels crowded or chaotic. The airport itself is clean, well-kept, and has a calm, almost laid-back vibe that’s rare in airports these days. The rental car centers are conveniently located nearby, with free shuttles provided for easy access. There’s also a cell phone waiting lot just five minutes away in the airport area, which makes picking up arriving passengers a breeze. PBI offers stress-free traveling and is truly among one of the best U.S. airports.

The airport was quaint; the amenities were good and functional. Many stores offered quick shopping options, and places to eat and drink were available. Its location is convenient to nearby cities like Lake Worth and Palm Beach. Security was efficient, and everything went smoothly. We came in from Boston Logan Airport there's a big difference in sizes of the airport but it didn't matter much

Airport associate Carolyn G. Working for JetBlue assisting a flight to Boston, forced me to check my personal item due to a “full flight”. With medical equipment that can be broken in my bag the associate told me that she didn’t care and that it would be my fault the flight was further delayed. The flight was already delayed two hours to no fault of my own. Upon boarding there was plenty of room for my bag above my designated seat. But I was denied my belonging well before anyone had checked if there was room or not. Associates should be more considerate of passengers needs and do their best to accommodate them. Telling a passenger they don’t care about medical equipment that is needed on board but would not fit in my lap for the flight is not acceptable. We’ll see what happens when the flight lands if everything is intact. Horrible service provided by Carolyn G. Of JetBlue.

I really appreciate the ease with which one can drop off and pick up people. What a great location, in the middle of everything, so close to 95. I usually fly out of Fort Lauderdale in order to get a direct flight, but the rideshare options there are so miserable, that I have come to appreciate my home airport even more! The 'cell phone waiting lot' is just the parking lot behind the dunkin donuts on the corner of Belvedere and the main entrance- so it is super close to the airport and very fast to get to- plus you can hit dunkin donuts or the mobile behind it if needed, and signs declare the free wi-fi for the airport. This lot is NOT hidden away in an abandoned spot.

Here's an easy airport to travel to/from , after coming through this airport over the summer months I can say it wasn't too bad. Decent size airport getting in & out was relatively easy , when arriving it was a little difficult to get a ride we figured it would be easier to just hop on a local taxi but that was not the case since they had no taxi line upon late arrival , seems to not be open late which really makes no sense it's an airport right? Taxis should be available at all times not just earlier.. we ended up finally getting an Uber. Airport wise small but not terrible security was easy coming & going & depending of your arrival & departure times u will find something to keep u entertain upon arrival nothing was open as it was a late flight , coming back home we had the Delta club which helped. Airport itself serves it's purposes for this side of Florida travel.

Flew into here as I needed be in Boynton Beach. The airport is easy to navigate and seems to have all the features and amenities the larger airports have, such as Clear with PreCheck. The only thing I didn't like is that the rental car center is only accessible via bus, it's not connected. It's a PITA to deal with getting on a bus to go to/from airport and rental car, so much easier to walk. They only have one lounge here, an Escape Lounge. The terminal my AA flight was in only had two eateries and a few snack counters. The B terminal looks like it's undergoing some sort of construction, which would be nice if they're modernizing it, because it looks dated and old.

For late night travelers, this airport is as desolate as it gets. Not sure if this is palm beach or Alaska at midnight. Nowhere to even kill some time in comfort either. If you can get in and out of here fast, best to do just that!

It's a small airport with three concourses. Most shops are available before security. Saw a nice tiny mini golf course in there too. TSA lines are short. Beyond the security, there's not much, few restaurants and small travel good stores. Lots of renovations going on, appearance is unpleasant. Hope the boarding areas would look much better once the work is completed. Our arrival and departures both were hassle free and on time. The airport does a good job of managing traffic and handling luggages. They have clear signs of where to take shuttle to go to the rental car lots. There are security personnels who ensure people don't park or idle cars in front of the terminal exit doors.

This terminal is a beautiful-big-bright building. An airport like this could easily become one of my favorites. A very modern-bright terminal made it very simple to land, get our baggage and move on to transportation. We took a shuttle bus to pick up a rental car. The whole process was incredibly simple and quick. It is really nice when your airport is not the size of a JFK, Heathrow, or Amsterdam. This just seemed so compact and easy to navigate. There are also plenty of high end shops and restaurants here. You can defiantly find a nice place to stop on your way in our out. There much electricity in the air in Palm Beach. Weather you're in the airport or downtown, it just seems like everyone is having a good time. KUDOs to Palm Beach International Airport

I detest this damn airport. From the ride TSA, to the rude customers, I'd rather be ANYWHERE else. TSA is weirdly strict about things they shouldn't, and if you ask a question, they immediately assume you are being "combative". Asking if I can put my shoes back on while you check my bags, is being combative? Okay. The pick up area is a nightmare, with loud honking, people nearly running you down, and security nowhere to be found. Please close this place lol

As fellow Yelper Nehal noted, PBI is currently undergoing renovations while open, closing off some public area. While inconvenient now, I'm sure we'll enjoy the improvements in the future. A much smaller airport than FLL, some magazines compare PBI to a private airport. While you don't have the madness of FLL, TEB (Teterboro) or BCT (Boca Raton) are a different experience than PBI. While limited in amenities, I personally prefer PBI to FLL due to less congestion.

Very small airport. Only food and convenient stores after security line. There are some shopping before security line but who does that? We are at Concourse B and literally 1 bathroom. For ladies, it's always a LONG LINE. Escape lounge at B for American Express Platinum Card Members and Delta SkyMiles Reserve Card Members, or pay to get in. Honestly they could use an upgrade.

Unfortunately, for me, this airport is not great. I have family who lives in the area so I frequent it more than I would like. It makes me think of an outdated shopping mall that should just be closed already. Sorry, but that's the case. The other thing that is so frustrating to me is that It's impossible to find anything healthy to eat in this airport, no matter, what restaurant rotates through the one or two places they have there. It's been under construction a lot lately. It seems like it's going on forever. There is one decent restaurant is an Irish spot, (random I know) but it's before security so it's kind of useless for people who are actually traveling. Does anyone actually go to the airport to eat? That would be something. The gate areas do not have enough seating anytime a flight boards people spill into the main walkway, blocking everything for everybody. It would be phenomenal if they would update their technology offerings or put some more plugs in somewhere. Thank goodness they have a Starbucks otherwise I probably would lose my mind in that airport

The Starbucks at Gate C4 is terrible. Service was unbelievably rude for no reason other than they were busy (which one might assume would make them happy). Our online order was 20 minutes late, and when we tried to ask about it, politely I might add, the first server ignored me, a second ignored my daughter, who is as sweet as pie, and a third told us to 'get out of her way.' The 4th said they were busy, no apology, no friendly smile. They should be kicked out of the airport they are so bad. It made the Palm Beach Airport experience a bad one for my family. We never got our order.

Palm Beach International is one of the best small airports around. Life moves slower here. The dichotomy from departing DIA to landing at PBI is a massive shift in the space time continuum. I recently returned to my hometown for the first time in over three years. Though flying into Fort Lauderdale or even Orlando have significantly better flight options, the convenience of flying into PBI in relation to where my hometown is makes the most sense. Palm Beach doesn't offer direct flights from Denver, and the limited direct flights is probably my least favorite thing about PBI. The stereotype of Palm Beach holds up here. You're on Florida time here and people are in absolutely no rush to get anywhere in a hurry. Sometimes it can be frustrating, however, the airport itself is one of the easiest ones to navigate and set up shop in. I wish they had more food options and that they were open later, but that's part of the deal at a small airport. Every time I land here I feel like I'm on a movie set due to its near false sense of reality with bougie shops inside and palm trees lining the perimeter of the airport. When most airports leave you overwhelmed, PBI makes you rethink your travel experience.

This is a quaint tiny airport! It's very easy to find baggage claim and your gate. Was additionally cool to see the presidents airplane upon landing. What a nice touch! Palm trees galore!

They had very clean restrooms. The check in was very quick and efficient. There was no problem finding my gate and the signage was a little bit confusing . The agent at the ticket counter could not have been more friendly and helpful.

A much easier morning at my small local airport. It's clean, easy to navigate with plenty of seating & phone chargers that charge. Wish there was a priority pass lounge but happy there was a TSA pre check line. I don't understand why so many are speaking loudly on their speaker phones; it's a gaggle of loud conversations.

Small, but efficient airport! First time flying out here and it went very smooth even with a Hurricane looming. I love that there is multiple CLEAR checkpoints. It took less than 5 minutes to get through security here! I flew out very early so not all the stores and food places were open, but Starbucks was ready with a minimal line. Boarding was smooth and my flight was on time. Looking forward to more flights out of here.

TSA was efficient and courteous. Gayer personnel smiled. Bathrooms were clean in concourse C.

Small and easily accessible international airport. No wait times at all at PreCheck. Okay-ish dining and shopping options. Gate area was large with plenty of mixed seating. Fairly convenient to downtown as well being only a few miles away.

Three terminals in this one.... Nice sized airport. We flew in and out on United this time at terminal B. Yes all the major airlines are here. Plus Avelo Airlines, which looks like travel to many smaller airports on the east coast. This one has many options for shopping pre security in the main concourse. Such as Brooks Brothers,PGA Golf & Palm Beach Expressions. Rental cars are off site. But our timing was very good this trip . After getting your bags, go to the center island and grab a shared van. It takes less than 10 minutes from the airport. I have used Budget fast trek for years. This is the most efficient airport in FLA for getting your car. On departure that TSA line was 30 minutes getting through. Yikes:( Next time I'll definitely use my CLEAR membership. That line looked like 10 minutes. But didn't use it as my travel companion didn't have it yet. Easy access to I-95 and the Florida turnpike from here. As always, safe travels and enjoy your flight.

Palm Beach International was a new experience for me. Getting to it wasn't simple but turned out to be doable. Once you get to the departures area, it's simple enough to find your airline. Now that I know that I won't be so daunted by the drive in.

The Palm Beach Airport is a conveniently located airport on the east coast of Florida. The facilities is well maintained and always clean especially the restrooms. It is easy to be dropped off or picked up. The rental car are a bit involved in that they are located on airport property and need a bus to get back to airport. The Airport offers decent selection of places to eat and have a drink or cocktail, Chili's is a good choice when in Terminal C.

First time flying through PBI, and I was impressed. Very clean and cozy facility with nice phone charging/work stations at each gate (from what I saw in the C concourse). Traffic outside before my 8:00 am flight was basically nonexistent ... could have been because I flew on Saturday. Just an overall unexpectedly pleasant travel experience at PBI.

Definitely my airport of choice. It's nice to fly in or out of here. Ne crowded, parking is close to the terminal. If you don't hit traffic on 95 it's so easy to get to. Departure and arrival areas are fast with good signage. No lines at TSA precheck. Plenty of seating near the gates with charging ports. Not as many flights but so much easier than Fort Lauderdale.

Concourse B has been under construction for over a year. Poor choices of eating establishment if any. Even when you order a breakfast sandwich at Starbucks they have no ketchup or pepper. Starting to love Newark.

Really there's not much NOT to like if you're like me, wanna catch a flight and not trying to spend hours being entertained at somebody's overpriced bar. Which by the way, they do have, it's just not as many as larger airports. I can't speak to on-site parking personally but I've not heard any complaints. I generally ride share when I come cause I live downtown and it's convenient. Never issues dropping off or picking up in the designated spots. Security wait times are so minimal here, and I mean with and without TSA precheck. I still tend to arrive an hour before boarding time because one never knows. And I've never been harassed for an intrusive pat down like at IAH, FLL, or SAN! Always a short walk to your gate. Only downside is it's not many direct flights to IAH but that's not on the airport. All the stores and restaurants are priced as you would expect at airports.

While going to Florida, I stopped at this airport. While this airport is smaller compared to Atlanta, Dallas, and JFK, this airport was still nice to look at. Hopefully I have more trips to this airport in the future

This is such a cute and simple airport. It was so stress free going through security and easy to navigate! I love smaller airports and this is definitely one of the best that I've been too. I also got a super cute Florida's magnet here..I couldn't find one in town, but they have a great selection at the airport. I noticed many great food options and even an Irish pub. Lots of great art and water stations too!

I can't stand going to airports, some thing about it makes my anxiety skyrocket. PBI is a pretty small airport, compared to Fort Lauderdale and Miami. That being said, it's the less hectic by far. Which makes it my favorite. The only downfall about this airport, is the prices of the tickets are double. For me living right next to PBI, I have to consider is it worth driving an hour to Fort Lauderdale and paying half the ticket price and paying for garage parking or paying double and being able to Uber my way there?? This is never an easy decision. Flights there normally have stops and takes a lot longer. Lots to consider when picking an airport. Convenience or cost!

I spent a few hours exploring around West Palm Beach Airport, PBI, my favorite airport in South Florida. PBI is not too big where you'll feel overwhelmed by passengers and congestion. Major airlines like Delta, American, United, Southwest and JetBlue all fly into and out of here. Although there aren't many nonstop flights if you're interested in traveling to the west coast of the USA, but for convenience...all of New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Washington DC are covered. And then of course you have the hub cities like Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas and Chicago that have flights regularly scheduled throughout the day. I walked inside PBI which features 1 main terminal and 3 concourses...concourses A, B and C...all located on level 2 of the airport and situated right near each other so you don't have to walk far to arrive at your gate. There are just a couple of restaurants and shops before and after security. This lends to a smaller, homelier and definitely less stressful type of feel for still being a major airport. I'd classify PBI as medium sized. It's not a regional airport, but it's nowhere near the size of FLL - Ft. Lauderdale and MIA - Miami who offer daily international flights around the world. For Economy Parking, it's only $7 per day which is fantastic compared to FLL which has $15 per day for their cheapest "Long Term" Parking Lot. From the Economy Lot, you get a cool perspective of planes departing right over your head. If you have the time to hang around, it's nice to watch some planes taking off. And for those interested in a worthwhile area for plane spotting, I discovered a small park located along Perimeter Road...a local road that circles around the airport. There was no name for this park, but if you casually drive on Perimeter Road, you can't miss the park, which is open from sunrise to sunset. Also at this unnamed park were some picnic tables if you'd like to eat lunch and watch the planes speed down the runway. Though, it's very noisy here with the passing cars from Southern Boulevard making it not such a pleasant setting. But...if you're here to watch planes, I think you'll appreciate the views. They are undisturbed with only the fencing getting in the way. If you do have a professional camera with you, you can capture some nice shots compared to using your phone (like I was, lol). In the end, it was okay to spend a few hours at PBI. I just enjoy hanging out at airports in general so, I'd recommend Palm Beach Airport.

Although I wish there were additional food options. Specifically, in the Southwest gates... and they could fix a lot of their outlets. Overall, PBI is clean and easy to maneuver. The staff are friendly and the parking is convenient. I'm a frequent flyer and i can't think of my negative experiences outside of delayed flights which aren't the fault of the airport.

This airport is put out nicely for its size. This is especially considering that this is the smallest out of the 3 airports in Southeast Florida. The food options are pretty decent, there's a dining area and a Starbucks before security. There's also a few chain restaurants after you pass security as well. If you like local food PBIA definitely has that. There's not an overwhelming amount of options but you'll definitely be satisfied. Shopping options and amenities are also pretty decent with there even being a Delta Sky Club. The architecture of the terminal makes this airport exceptional from others with its marble layout which can be seen throughout. Even if you aren't traveling there's a nice spot to look at planes and takeoffs/landings. The bathrooms are modern and the drop-off/pick-up areas outside of the terminal are efficient. If I have to name one con then overcrowding is certainly possible during peak hours. Overall, this is a great airport for its size with a considerable amount of amenities, food and shopping options, and up-to-date resources. If you're tired of FLL and MIA, this is definitely a nice alternative.

Nice airport, getting through TSA is a breeze especially with TSA pre-check or CLEAR. Both are offered.

Dropped my wife on a Sunday morning... Everyone at Delta ticket counter to the parking staff was helpful. Will definitely choose PBIA for my next flight.

I really like this airport. It's way less chaotic than Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. I feel like it's a hidden gem! We were arrived and had our bags very quickly. Easily found the Uber area and were on our way.

Took over 18 minutes to get four chicken strips. They came out of ice cold and tough as shoe leather. I would have sent them back but I had to catch a plane.

Just came thru here on a long weekend down to the South FL area. This airport is a great alternative to the chaos of FLL if one can find a direct flight to this location. It's clean; easy to navigate and the rental location is not too far away. Only docking one star as we were early from ATL in the evening (around 930p) and it looked like it was 11pm. Shops closed; newsstands closed; restaurants also closed. A worthy thing to remember. Aside from that; cannot complain too loudly - will absolutely frequent again when I'm making plans to the South FL area.

I like the PBI airport for multiple reasons. A smaller airport to get in and out of FL but without the hassles of long lines for TSA and shuttling between terminals. The 3 terminals are fairly small which helps cut out too much walking. The terminals have good food & beverage options as well. Car rental counters at the terminal are now operational which makes the rental process really easy. You still have to take the free rental shuttle to pick up your vehicle but it's a short 10 min ride. The central location of PBI makes it easy to get into any part of South FL with ease.

Would love to give it more stars but I'm not in the place long enough to do so. But one thing I can say is that if I am in an airport I know I am heading somewhere great. My last few times in this airport I haven't dealt with many people to make a good enough choice of how it is over all!!

Palm Beach International Airport is pretty easy to navigate. The stores close pretty early and it's pretty small. However, the size is taken into account when writing this. They offer the basics and its easy to get in and out relatively quickly. If your flight gets delayed and you end up there past 7pm, get your food beforehand or get carry out. The restaurants close early. They do have plenty of options to choose from. Overall, it's a clean airport that's pretty easy to fly in and out of.

A beautiful airport!! Quick tsa and lots of nice shops. I always prefer to fly from here rather than Ft. Lauderdale if possible.

PBI is clean and well run with polite workers. PBI is MUCH NICER than Ft Lauderdale airport, which is like a third world country.

I had to come to West Palm Beach to do some filming. I have never been this far south in Florida so I wasn't sure which airport I should use. I spoke with friends and they suggested I fly into Palm Brach instead of one of the larger airports. This is a smaller airport. Getting through the security checkpoint took maybe 15 minutes. The airport workers are friendly and it's very clean. There aren't many restaurants and stores here, but there's enough to hold you over. I wouldn't hesitate to fly into this airport in the future.

Tip: use the economy parking lot nearby for $7 a day (walking distance. to the terminal and frequent and comfortable shuttles if you want to avoid the exercise Overall is a recommended option to flight form SoFL

Palm Beach airport is always one of my favorites in terms of the speed of security and the abundance of good seating with plugs. In the morning, it's incredibly quiet and essentially empty! In the B terminal, there are several restaurants and shops to get snacks. Getting to and from the rental car center is easy and efficient. Never had a bad experience here!

I love this airport. It has a small intimate feel to it :) The economy parking lot is inexpensive and if you call the number in the wait stations they send someone right out. The hanging fish in the escalator area always makes me smile. The people watching is on point. Plenty of fast food, magazines and water to be bought at hiked up pricing which is on par with Airports in general :/ Quick story - I was on the last flight out before Irma hit in 2017. My self and two other vehicles traveling g South while the rest of the state was coming North. I'll never forget the kindness and helpfulness of the Floridians I encountered. I am proud to call myself Florida woman :)) You can trust me, Florida is open ;D

Due to last-minute changes in plans, I wound up at PBI not once but twice on a recent trip to Florida. I'd say that it was a fortuitous circumstance given how nice this airport is. The airport features a spacious and well-lit terminal that gives an open and airy feeling. It is easy to navigate and well-organized, making it a much more pleasant experience than many other airports. There's plenty of seating areas, restaurants, and shops. One of the most praised aspects of Palm Beach International Airport is its customer service, and that's no exaggeration. The airport staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient, and goes out of their way to assist passengers with their needs. I look forward to traveling through this airport again in the future!

PROS: this airport has a good reputation for being small, easy to navigate, and clean. The staff is nice and the flights are cheaper coming into here CONS: since it's a small airport not all areas of the country can fly here OVERALL: if you're coming to this area and your local airport has a non stop flight ability to this airport, I would book it

One of the cleanest airports that 8've been to. TSA friendly and abundant. It's more quiet and less stressful than MIA or EWR but then again it's a smaller airport. The AC seems to be not as cool.
