Just back from a 4 night stay at Palm Beach and have mixed feelings about it.||I saw other comments about rooms being dirty and outdated, etc., but ours was absolutely fine. Clean, and we had an amazing sea view. The pool was clean too.||However, the pool area is definitely too small for the size of the hotel. We only went on one occasion and got the last two loungers. The other days we just went to the beach instead, which suited us fine. From what we could tell, there is entertainment at the pool every day in the afternoon which would make it hard to relax for me personally. We also witnessed a strange interraction with what looked like the 'head' of the entertainment staff and a group of guests. During a singing performance, a small group of men were playing volleyball at the opposite end of the pool from where the performers were standing, this section of the pool is curved so they were behind a wall, and the member of staff kept shouting at them over and over again in Spanish, which they didn't understand. Eventually, it turned out he was telling them to stop playing volleyball and they should play it after the performance - they were not loud nor interrupting anything and no one even noticed them until the staff member drew attention to them. The staff member gave them the middle finger and walked away. It was so unprofessional and uncalled for. They were not doing anything against the rules and were using the pool which they have paid for. I can't see how it is reasonable to expect paying guests to 'stay quiet' or not use the pool for two whole hours every day during the entertainment.||The buffet area for breakfast is also way too small for the size of hotel and amount of guests. We went down at different times every day and it was so busy no matter what time. It is absolute chaos as the indoor area where the food is kept is so crammed full. However, the food was very nice and there was a really good selection.||The hotel is really central which is great. You can easily walk further into Costa Adeje and Las Americas. The beach is right across the road. However, there is a bar directly under the hotel which play live music every night until midnight. Our room was right above it so we could hear the music as clear as day. There is a club directly across the road which also plays music until 1am so just something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper, like me, or have children. This is the main reason why I don't think I would stay here again. ||Overall, it's not a bad experience, but I would prefer to stay somewhere a little better and more relaxing for the money
