Palm Grove Cottages - Leisure Resort

We have just spent 12 nights at the family run Palm Grove Cottages, a very calm place to stay. Surrounded by beautiful greenery, which is nurtured daily. We originally booked the Superior room, a traditional Portuguese style with a 4 poster bed, dark furniture etc. We extended our stay and moved to a modern standard room. Both rooms were large with comfortable large beds, air conditioning & ceiling fans, lovely fresh white linen & towels. There are no TVs in the rooms (great to get away from the TV) Full WiFi in rooms and restaurant area. The breakfast was included in the room price and is prepared fresh when you arrive - No buffet. The D’Costa family were on hand at any time, always friendly, approachable & helpful with all our needs. The village is a short walk away where you will find various restaurants, clothes shops, tailors, bars, supermarkets, pharmacy etc. Trinity beach is approx 15min walk or Benaulim beach is approx 30mins or the Tuk Tuk is approx. 100-150 rupees.

A charming family run hotel with a friendly welcome. Rooms are in 2 portiguese colonial style buildings. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped, with ceiling fans and AC. Beds are large and comfy. Balconies look out onto the idyllic tropical gardens filled with flowers and birdlife. Breakfast is included and taken at the restaurant, either inside or in the garden. Fresh fruit salad, tea, coffee, toast and eggs/omelette is ser ed at the table. An easy 20 mjnute or so walk or short ride to the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops closer by. Altogether an unforgetable stay. Enjoyed it very much.

I had a very enjoyable 2 week holiday at the Palm Grove Resort.It’s a perfect place for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. The management - a special shout out to the very gracious , accommodating and efficient Hotel Manager Antonio and his excellent assistant Deepu for making my stay very enjoyable. Note there are no TV’s and the hotel does not have a pool which adds to the calm and serene atmosphere of the resort. No noisy TV’s and pool parties! I left the resort feeling relaxed and restored and look forward to my next visit!

This place ticks all the boxes for a truly idyllic escape. Lush gardens provided a tranquil retreat, while the beach was just a short stroll away (about 10 minutes on foot) The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The food was a real highlight – delicious and beautifully presented. The rooms were a delight. The tasteful antique furnishings added a touch of charm and character, making them incredibly cozy and inviting. We can't recommend this place enough.

This beautiful and cozy hotel is hidden in the most enchanting garden paradise you can think of. We stayed for 5 nights in a clean, fully functioning and beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The staff is incredible lovely, helpful and caring. The fresh fish in the restaurant was stunning. We cannot recommend staying here enough - if you are looking for a place to calm down, relax your mind, enjoy the beautiful beaches of Benaulim and are still in reach for the shops in the city - this is your place. A little garden Eden.

THE perfect place to relax and escape the dystopian theme park that southern Goa has become. You will find tasteful music (played at an appropriate volume), a beautifully curated garden & green space with many incredible plants that are obviously loved and well looked after. Lots of shade and cute seating areas, nestled away from the heat of the sun. At night the whole garden lights up with fairly lights and candles creating a beautiful & serene atmosphere. The restaurant service is a little slow however all the food is cooked from scratch & well worth the wait. Plus yoga class every morning (300rp).

We had an extended stay at Palm Grove in February 2024 and just loved our visit. The accommodation was great, the gardens wonderful and we were looked after superbly by Antonio and his family & staff. The location is safe and convenient for Benaulim and its many restaurants and is about a 15 minute walk to the fantastic beach with plenty of tuk tuks and taxis if you prefer this option. Note that Palm Grove doesn’t have a pool or TVs so if these are on your wish list this probably isn’t the place for you. However, on the flip side, a lack of these facilities results in the most tranquil and relaxing environment which completely suited us. Would we stay here again? Absolutely yes.

My friend, Bee, stayed here for 2 weeks in October and it was perfect. This small hotel is quietly nestled in amongst the most wonderful tropical gardens that are a paradise alive with butterflies, birds and other wonderful creatures. The superb staff are courteous, friendly and always helpful and the whole experience could not have been bettered. Although set very quietly away from any outside disturbance, the local shops and restaurants are just 10 minutes walk towards Maria Hall whilst the stunning beach is a gentle 20 minute stroll, past the fish drying in the sun, in the other direction. 100% recommended!
