Palm Grove

Great bure on the beach. Staff very friendly as is always in the south Pacific. Yellow Hibiscus restaurant attached serves great food and very reasonably priced. Their Ita Mata or fresh tuna in lime juice and coconut was fantastic. Good sized serving and very fresh. I love my cerviche and Kokonda which I have every day in Fiji and Vanuatu and this was right up there.

Came for my 65th birthday in October as a small group. We had a 3 bedroom beachfront villa. Cannot say enough about this place the staff, the rooms, the food and and drinks were simply amazing . We are already planning our return trip

We normally stay at a adult only resort in Raratonga. As we travelling with the whole family we chose Palm Grove. Loved it and have booked again for next year. The owners were really helpful organizing for our group of eleven. Positioned on a great beach.

My partner and I stayed at Palm Grove for 4 nights and had the most amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was kind, hospitable, and truly went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. A special shoutout to Mama T, who was absolutely wonderful! The food was beautiful — especially the breakfast every morning, which included fresh fruit, delicious banana and lemon bread, and more. Happy hour was a real highlight too — my partner especially enjoyed it, as the staff kept happily refilling his glass! 😄 We stayed in one of the Garden Studios, which was peaceful and quiet, and just a short walk across the road to the beach. We also loved that kayaks and snorkelling gear were available to use — such a great bonus. We were even welcomed by a friendly cat who hung around near us throughout our stay, which made it feel even more like home. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing spot in Rarotonga with lovely people, great food, and a laid-back vibe, I’d absolutely recommend Palm Grove. Can’t wait to come back!

What amazing friendly place, kiti and mama tum are so welcoming, as well as all the staff at palm grove and yellow hibiscus restaurant, felt like family by the time we had to leave. Not that we wanted to leave. Accommodation fantastic, staff truly amazing, views to die for. Can't wait to return to their loving embrace 💕

Great place, the staff (Kitty, Mary (V), Avi, Ty, Mumma Tumm) just to mention a few are all fantastic, very welcoming and always ready to help. The beach is beautiful and great for snorkelling, the restaurant Yellow Hibiscus is lovely, would definitely return to Palm Cove

Such a great experience had there over ten days, the people we met are exquisite and made us feel right at home. The only thing is if you run hot, the room requires the key tag to be in to run the air con. Top tip is to run the ceiling fan while you're out to try and help with the heat in your room

I finally had the pleasure of staying at Palm Grove Resort after many years of recommending it to clients. The experience did not disappoint as all my expectations were met. We stayed in the three bedroom beach villa. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you need to take care of your own meals and there was ample space for the 6 of us. ||The kids (5 and 3) enjoyed the beach, and we all agreed it was the best beach on the whole island. There were many hours also spent in the small pool set back in the garden on the other side of the road. ||One thing that struck me in talking to other guests is this is a place that guests return to year on year. One guest commenting "it feels like coming home." ||It's important to set realistic expectations. Yes, there is paint chipping and yes, the furniture is a little dated however the resort is scheduled for a renovation at the end of 2025 so it will be nice to see it freshened up. Look past the paint chips and you will find a comfortable, clean and affordable place to enjoy the sun and sand.
