Great place! Stayed with family for 6 nights. Restaurant was very good. Our room was great and very good breakfast. The real asset is the staff! Very friendly and attentive. Location is OK and the hotel gardens are very nice and very well kept. Highly recommended!

It was one of my best hotel experience ever! Everything is amazing about this hotel: silent place, perfect service (they even change my mattress with a harder one upon my request!), great heated pool (made of black rock, with lights in the evening, just amazing!), fantastic view on the ocean (if you are lucky you can even observe the whales while enjoying your punch!). Amazing breakfast, plenty of choice, fresh fruits. Really, I do not have time and space to give a full list of things that are really great about this hotel, and the owner and the management fully deserve congratulations. One sole remark, still: when you are charging 300 eur for one night, I do not think you should charge 10 eur for a bucket of ice cubes...

Stayed there in 2016, and revisited in 2024|We had the treetop house overlooking the bay. Pricey but worth the money if you are after something truly special.|Grand Anse beach has a lovely, clean beachfront to relax. We lunched at a restaurant directly at the beach, food excellent and drinks astpubdingly well priced.

Extremely disorganised. Making double reservations and then contacting us saying sorry they have double booked the room. I should have known from that second to rather just cancel. Nevertheless, the experience was pathetic and unacceptable. |Terrible food and drinks - the cuisine is mediocre is an overstatement and the service is shameful. |No chaffier or transport services offered to even get to a restaurant 3 minute drive away which you’d expect from a “five star hotel”. The only thing five star about the hotel is the view and we are disgusted that we had informed the hotel that my grandmother had fallen extremely ill and I needed to catch a flight the next morning. I had to get WiFi as the room WiFi wasn’t working and I had communicated to the receptionist that I need to speak to my family - I was giggled at. 0 decency. The technician was unable to fix the issue - “shocker” They were unable to accommodate even a partial cancellation or even any compensation. I am appalled by how deceiving the hotel looks online and once arriving it is 1000% not as the pictures display the hotel online - rundown and outdated. |The highlight for me is how they could not send a car or even staff member to collect us at 8pm at a restaurant down the road (3min drive) and we would have had to walk 20 minutes on a winy road up a mountain in the pitch black dark. |Thank goodness we could get a ride from two patrons at the same restaurant as taxis are basically non-existent here. ||Absolutely 0 consideration for guests and a tourist trap to say the least. Sold a dream and left in a nightmare. ||Do not stay at this disgracefully overpriced establishment with terrible guest service and that’s the tip of the iceberg. ||Save your money.

A truly miserable and disappointing experience from check in to check out. After 9.30pm the only room service is a fruit or cold cut plate (until 11pm)… we found this out as we arrived after a long flight at 10pm. Both restaurants are fine dining with limited menus unless you want bar snacks. Poor service at lunch. Bread thrown at the table as waitress walked past. No side plates given, butter, salt and pepper, etc. Starter was not as ordered… waited over 20 mins for our plates to be cleared and not asked if everything was ok despite leaving nearly the whole dish. Our waitress barely looked at us or our table… we constantly felt like an inconvenience to the staff. Bedroom was ok size but furniture was oddly placed. Comfy bed. Toiletries were non-existent. 2 sad pumps in the shower and one over the sink. Lacked any kind of atmosphere which was impressive given the hotel was fully booked. Pool area was small but had comfy loungers. No service - if you want a drink you had to go to the bar yourself to get it. Access to the beach if you’re feeling adventurous and an accomplished rock climber. Building works next to our room which we weren’t made aware of or an offer to change our room. Limited English speaking staff which resulted in quite a few miscommunications ie coke instead of Diet Coke (which turned out they didn’t have anyway). Mini bar was a joke. One 500 ml bottle of water complimentary in the room (250ml each). Balcony without a view. Called to let them know we’d be checking out 2 days early… first thing they said was not “is everything ok” it was, “you’ve already paid”. 5€ for an ice bucket!! Grounds mostly well maintained but needed more regular cleaning. Over an hour from Roland garros airport (the local airport close to the hotel is for domestic flights only) and 165€ each way. Over priced, pretentious and a waste of 3 days holiday.

This hotel oozes luxury, definitely warrants its five star rating. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is lovely and great food. The pool area is beautiful. Loads of different seating areas and everywhere is so comfortable. The accommodation is so comfy amazingly comfy bed and we had two adjoining rooms which was really handy. Nothing was too much of a problem, and they were very accommodating and flexible. The beach is a bit of a walk, but worth it. It’s beautiful and nice and quiet.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with wonderful pools and grounds. Everything about this hotel was lovely. It was luxurious without being too formal. The restaurant/bar areas were beautiful and the food was great - particularly the breakfasts. Lovely staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. Only one minor complaint was that it took a very long time between ordering a cocktail and it arriving but I think the hotel were aware and trying to fix this. We fully intend to return to Reunion and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I gave 3 stars because some rooms need a refresh (old paint and traces on the ceiling) and the restaurant is far bellow a 5star standard except for the price. We had a dinner and service was bad, food average. The bread was from the day before (it hurts when the full menu is near 100€). Common areas and pools are beautiful and the location is amazing with a beautiful view over the sea.
