It’s a really nice design-led place with a relaxed vibe, good food, and friendly service. The service is quite casual, but in a good way. I really enjoyed the room, especially the outdoor shower, and the pool area itself is lovely.
The downside is the hotel’s approach to day visitors. External guests are clearly encouraged, and it often felt like there were more day visitors than actual hotel guests. I understand opening the restaurant to non-residents, but opening the pool to outside visitors as well, and actively promoting it, doesn’t sit right.
As a hotel guest, you’re paying for the amenities, yet the pool area is crowded for most of the day, with hardly any space to relax. A good solution would be a second, more secluded pool in the garden, reserved for hotel guests only.
Because of this, I wouldn’t come back.
