"In the Caribbean’s Windward Islands, a string of some 600 islands and islets dot the sea between St. Lucia and Grenada. It’s a paradise for yachters, where you can drop anchor off an uninhabited island and live out your Robinson Crusoe fantasies. A handful of these islands are home to resorts, including the private Palm Island, first leased to an American couple in 1966 for $1 per year. They established the ten-room Palm Island Beach Club, which over the years has grown—though there are still only a total of 43 guest rooms on this single-resort island. This place is gorgeous. The staff, especially Alaska, were wonderful in helping a bunch of bedraggled tourists refresh themselves after several days on a small sailboat. Loved the food, the sights, the accommodations, the iguanas, everything about it!

Palm Island Grenadines Beautiful Island, wonderful service and outstanding staff, but I would not recommend it. The food is very disappointing, good but needs to improve quality, preparation and menu. If your a non-smoker be aware that many smokers know the policy (or lack of) prior to booking and smoking was a big problem for us - 6 guests. The bartender was not helpful in addressing this, and rude on two occasions. The day sailboats that arrive (non-guests) take advantage of the law that allows them to use the beach front water. They push the envelope in using hotel amenities (see photos) sleeping on beach benches outside my room. These pictures are not in the hotel brochure….. security is very lackadaisical on this issue ? In summary: We expected a 5 star resort and ended up with a 3 star, with with 5 star prices $$$$$.

We found the island to be a tropical, Caribbean paradise. We enjoyed the food, Palm Island services, including the spa, the exercise programs, the beach bar, the restaurants, the library and various excursions. The staff are second to none. A top notch crew in all levels of service who simply excel at making you feel well cared for and pampered. We stayed for twelve nights and truly had the most relaxing and gratifying holiday experience. Hats off to Katie and her friendly, efficient and professional staff. We'll be back!

One of the two most beautiful islands, along with Morea in the south pacific that I have ever seen or been to visit. If you like quiet, beautiful beaches, Palm island is the place for you. The food is wonderful the people are extraordinary and itwas just a dream trip. Would go again in a minute. Just fabulous.
