Palm Paradise Cabanas Beach Resort Tangalle

An amazing experience but make sure you book according to your preferences. This is our 4th time back to Palm Paradise which tells you how wonderful this place is. We usually stay in the air conditioned villas at the top of the grounds but this time went to for the new air conditioned cabanas next to the beach. Whilst it was lovely being 20 yards from the beach and hearing the waves, the music from the beach bar’s disturbed us until 11 most nights. The new cabanas are large and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We actually felt more in nature being further away from the beach and may ask to move. The food in the restaurant is wonderful and much better than on the beach. The team in the restaurant are lovely and will always do their best for you. Rohan and his team at reception are superb and nothing is too much for them. You pay for what you get here. Thanks to everyone at Palm Paradise for making our stay so lovely and special.

The spot was awesome. Right on the beach, and the restaurant by the pool was amazing! The cabana is super rustic, and we did get up close with some of the wildlife - if you're not into bugs, I'd suggest one of the villas instead!

We got the best cabanas very close to the beach about 20 m away from the beach and can hear the ocean sound through out saw the sunrise from the room it self...Though there was no AC we were comfortable. |We stayed for two nights 3 days the breakfast was good but rest of the meals they didn't have saying it is off season and we have to go searching for places.

We stayed at Palm Paradise Cabanas for five nights and overall had a lovely experience. Our cabana was spacious and comfortable, though some of the facilities felt a bit worn. The toilet seat was loose and the hot water tank was dripping. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes, and despite using the mosquito net we still got several bites during the nights. There are many very sweet dogs around the property. We really enjoyed them during the day, but at night there were occasional fights and barking that kept us slightly awake. That said, we chose to see everything as part of the experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, right by the beach, and the sound of the waves was incredible. The common area has games and places to relax, though it could use a bit of updating. All in all, a memorable stay in a fantastic natural setting.

Best place to relax and enjoy. One of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka with restaurants, where is also nice and romantic to have dinner with candles and torches. Nice pool area. Helpful front office manager, good service in restaurant. Beautiful and well groomed garden. Cabanas are nice, but you must consider, that they are still cabanas, not 4 or 5 star hotel rooms. If you need luxury, bettet to take villa or superior double cabana. But for us was best choice to have 2 double cabanas - we had incredible ocean view from terrace and the sound of the wawes all day and night. We loved that. Breakfast was delicious, we had also Sri Lankan breakfast, that was really very tasty. Very close to the beautiful Silent beach. This place is like real paradise.

This hotel is good for those who seek beach acess and a calm environment. We have spend two nights with them inside a villa and a cabana with my family. But the cabans are very old and no facilities at all. Those are woden cabanas with very minimum facilities. It recalls a house in rural area village. Beds are not comfortable at all and you will get flat one pillow and the mattress is a crap. No Ac but fans are there. You have to be ready with mosquitoes. No intercom system. You have to walk to resturent or reception for anything you need. Management to re think about elevating the facilities inside these cabanas. Villas are nice and modern but they only got 4 -5 new villas. Average experience but location and beach made our days at Palm Paradise **and we order English breakfast and Iam wondering to see only scrambled one egg, bread with jam and butter. You have to pay for a sausage even 🙂 This hotel need a re establishment. Its like hell and hevan in same hotel.. Villas to cabanas.

Palm Paradise is the best place to relax and enjoy. The pool area is great with very good food and service from the restaurant (especially Dilum and Kavindu were the kindest staff) and the beach is also fantastic with big beautiful waves. Beautiful and well groomed garden. We stayed in the villas which was great (although we would have liked a bit more storage for our clothes).

we stayed for a week at palm paradise cabanas and really enjoyed it! the cabanas are very well equipped with a very good eye on details. the location is perfect, steps away from the beach in a calm palm tree garden. the main area feels a bit nostalgically „outdated“, but in a very good way! should also be perfect for a family holiday.
