Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The hotel is excellent, and very well located in the historic center with a very sophisticated and elegant reception. The hotel staff is very attentive and very helpful. The rooms are very spacious, very comfortable, clean, with a really nice, top-notch decor, and the bathroom is also very comfortable. Breakfast is very good with a wide variety of fruits and many different juices, all served generously by the staff. The only downside is the parking lot, which is located on the next block and doesn't have valet service at certain times.

Some of my clothes are missing. I have one very expensive shirt two pairs of pants and one bikini bottom all missing for my room. Food is terrible here at least breakfast is terrible. If it costs extra don't bother eat somewhere else. All they do is stick your food in the microwave. Coffee wasn't hot omelette was disgusting with a ton of raw onions in it and some disgusting cheese.As for the pool it's in a great location but quite shallow and not heated. The room is barely okay it's not really a Hilton quality room. People that work in the restaurant are grossly incompetent. They serve rawish bacon and if you want something cooked to hotter they shove everything in the microwave. I would stay here again because of the location but lock your suitcase. I put stuff in the safe and I would imagine that would have been stolen had I not locked the outside of the safe with my own locks and chains. I've never had clothes stolen from a hotel before I asked to speak to the manager but the front desk was not helpful. I had to go to the mall to buy a new shirt. The nicest thing about this hotel is a lobby. I heard that the adjacent restaurant was very good but they had bankers hours. Who closes on a Sunday at a hotel after 5:00? I'll tell you who somebody who has an allergy to money

Perfect stay here, the building is very beautiful and the staff is always very welcoming. Very comfortable to stay here. Most of the rooms have great view to the river, rooms in the 3rd floor have balconies, room 308 and 310 are very nice Rooms in the 1 st floor have only indirect light and no fresh air. The food is excellent, can highly recommend to stay here. And highly recommend Miss Rosario for massages 🙏🏻☺️ Thank you we come back for sure

The property is beautiful and this must be one of the best hotels in Asuncion. The rooms are spacious and even the lower floors offer lovely views. The rooftop pool was sadly closed for renovation but it will be a lovely spot once it reopens later in the month. There is also a small gym on-site which never seemed to be very busy.|The breakfast was not a huge buffet but definitely offered enough choice, including lots of fruits. The hotel staff was the best part, they were just all around lovely and helpful and even assisted in organizing a day trip to the Golden Circle towns around Asuncion. Wouldn’t hesitate to return here if ever in the city again, especially as it was also great value for money given the quality provided.

Friendly and polite staff! Well-equipped rooms with a good selection of amenities, great showers, conveniently placed outlets for chargers, and a good AC unit. Nice rooftop pool and great breakfast. We were able to leave part of our luggage at the hotel for a week while travelling the rest of the country, which was nice too.

What a beautiful hotel! The whole team was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I received excellent service, and I want to give a special mention to David, our waiter—he was absolutely the best 😊

Great week in Paraguay. Beautiful hotel. The first day was very noise (holiday) but then on the second day something absurd happened, the people wrapping the renovation on the patio started construction work at 6am!!!! Insane. I complained and was moved to a different floor, which was much better. Wifi, beds, A/C, breakfast, and more are all fantastic. The showers are amazing as well. Recommend!

We were very happy with our stay at Palmaroga. The service was excellent and the staff attentive throughout. The hotel blends modern amenities with historic charm — the courtyard is especially beautiful, framed by elegant arches and filled with light, making it a perfect spot to relax. Our room was comfortable and well-furnished, and the decor and furniture across the property give it a stylish, welcoming feel. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety and quality. The hotel sits in the heart of central Asunción, which overall may not be quite as vibrant or polished as one might hope for, but Palmaroga itself is a gem — and its street is among the best in the area (relatively speaking). Overall, a great choice in Asunción — both comfortable and memorable.
