Palmer Park

Palmer Park is a family & pet friendly location for recreation & relaxation depending on the day, plus hours of being there. Just an fyi, the restrooms need to be taken care of more often by Parks & Recreation workers immediately. It is filthy & unsanitary. Toilets and urinals are often flooded with urine, toilet paper, & feces. I would give it 5 stars but the restrooms are disgusting.

Listen carefully. Today in this park an aggressive skate coach crossed the line. The man who trains kids near the main ramps — African-American, usually in a white tshirt w lot of ugly tatoos standing by the skate area — decided he had the right to tell me to take my son away. Not because my son was violent. Not because he was dangerous. But because my son has autism. Let me make this clear: My child is not the problem. Your behavior is. You said other kids might crash into him. I explained that he is autistic and doesn’t always understand danger. Instead of helping, you chose to humiliate and push us out. That is not concern. That is discrimination. This is a public park. Not your territory. Not your private training zone. And not a place where only “convenient” children are allowed. To every parent who joined him and told us to leave — You should be ashamed of yourselves. You didn’t protect kids. You protected your comfort. If you see that coach near the ramps — remember this: This is the man who tried to push an autistic child out of a public space. Today it was my son. Tomorrow it could be yours. My child belongs here. And I will not stay silent when someone tries to erase him.

Huge park right in the middle of town. This was one of my favorite places to take my dogs and just let them loose. (Please only do this if your dogs are completely trained) There are tons of trails and room to run around and explore all different areas . Lots of large rocks and hills , a nice small picnic area used to be in the middle, not sure if the tables are still there. Photos are from summer 💚

It's a good Park. I like it, I wish that it wasn't packed full of affluent kids for their birthday parties every weekend with blow-up houses and catered tacos. Your 1-year-old does not need a birthday party, Garry. Who cares if your neighbors did it.

Palmer Park is a nice park in Glendale with plenty of space and lots of ameneties. It has plenty of parking, 2 basketball courts, a skatepark, kids playground, picnic area, outdoor workout-gym area, wading pool, restrooms, and a large grassy area with trees. The parking lot closes their games at 10pm so don't forget your car inside! The reason this park gets a 3star is because there are too many homeless people that hang around the picnic area starting from the afternoon and they use the bathroom to consume narcotics and take baths. They are not always there but very often they are, I know because I live across the street.

Skatepark review: Bit of a strange one. Nice big half bowl and some standard hubbas and ledges but also a weird ramp to Manny pad combo? Maybe more fun for BMX. I did however enjoy the wavy bump to quarter combo. All in all a little underwhelming and a bit small but well built. Seemed to be in a nice area. #1000skateparkchallenge #cementurians
