Palmers Lodge Hostel

Thanks for an excellent stay, I got wonderful apartment overlooking the street, service was very helpful, staff very kind on the reception even though i arrived latly. This hostel only gets better during years.

The location is fairly good as it is located right on the tram line and is walkable distance to many food shops. However the hostel itself I found to smell a little musty and the washrooms felt like they could have a good deep clean. I would stay here again though. It was nice enough for what we paid.

It was very conveniently located within walking distance from the bus and train station. The room was clean with individual heating. The staff were amazing and helped me out in many ways(their service levels the service of a 5 star hotel). Clean towel is provided with no extra charge. The only downside was the sound of tram at night but, unless you are a very light sleeper, it wouldn't bother you too much.

The rooms are directly next to a big street with trams and cars passing all night long. I don't have a light sleep. But that was just way to loud.... Couldn't sleep woke up all the time because of the tram or people passing outside. The rooms are really nice and clean with good modern bathrooms. The staff is very friendly too.

Absolutely wonderful hostel! They were so kind and patient when I had a mini panic attack after a bus delay and a stressful two days of traveling with little sleep, and they arranged for me to check in late. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable, and the location next to the bus station was perfect! Definitely stay here when you're in Zagreb!

Nice location with a tram station just outside. Comfortable beds, you can ask for a towel, it's free. 15 mins walk to the bus terminal and Central to most attraction. Ground floor rooms can be noisy due to the tram, but you get used to it.

One of the better hostels that I've stayed in. I stayed in a private ensuite that even included a kitchenette, which is not very common and great to have. The place is very modern and well furnished. Front desk staff was very nice. It's also extremely close to the central train station and directly in front of a tram stop -- which is great (easy access) but also with some drawback (constant train noise and ground rumbling). But otherwise it's pretty quiet
