Palmerston Markets

The Palmerston Markets are a fantastic dry-season local market. There’s an incredible variety of food from across the world — including Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Italy, Greece, the Philippines, and more. It’s a great place to try something different. Here’s also local fruit and veg, handmade jewellery, and plenty of unique stalls to browse. The atmosphere is busy but still welcoming. Located just 15 minutes from Darwin in Goyder Square in the Palmerston CBD. Running every Friday from the last Friday in April through to the last Friday in October between 5pm and 9pm, it’s a great way to spend a relaxed evening outdoors. It's well worth a visit.

Great for a nice stroll, dinner and entertainment (and fresh veggies shopping) on a Friday night.

Lots of stall with hand-made accessories, snacks and food. And there is a mini-stage having a LIVE band show on every Friday night.

Fantastic local markets, it has a vibe, food is great, good to see local delegates representing the council

Thoroughly enjoyed the outing. Reminded me of a smaller mindl markets. Good variety of takeouts. Live entertainment was very good

A large abundance of different cultural food available alongside plenty of vegetables and fruit for sale! Massages around too. There are activities and entertainment available for the kids should you bring yours along and plenty of seating all around. Looking for a good night out with the family or friends? This is right up your alley.

Great way to spend the evening. You have all the amazing variety of asian foods as well as carnival type foods. There's usually live music on the grass so bring a blanket. Also heaps of local produce fairly cheap.
