"Palms Cycle, Palms. Palms Cycle is a bike shop specializing in custom bikes for sale. If you need some maintenance on your bike they also service them for parts & repairs. They have great deals on bikes and have a very friendly/helpful staff. They also rent bikes if you just want to ride down to the beach."

Good and clean place, fast service and polite environment, but a little pricey went in because of a flat tire, $25 Reply to the owner: unfortunately for you I don't have to wait for bike shops to close and go to Amazon, there is other bike shops with a more reasonable price for this type of service where I can save money. after reading your reply I got curious and check the inner tube used to fix my flat, I expected to pay more because of location and emergency so at least I hoped to find a decent tube for the price I payed, but I'm quite disappointed to find a very generic tube that can be bought for $5 or even less if bought in bulk.

I gave them a new tire and 2 new tubes and asked to replace my brake pads, replace some spokes, install a seat. They didn't change one of the tubes and just adjusted my brake pads. Conclusion: I got a flat less than 3 weeks after fixing it (the purpose of changing my tubes was exactly to avoid fixing it soon) and my brake pads are again not working properly. My last flat was in March! And they didn't tell me they kept the new tube. I called them and the store was about to close. I had to spend time and money going to Target and on this day I didn't go to work (I don't have a car I use my bicycle). It is unfair and not correct. Also, I came here because I left this bycicle at their other store in Santa Monica. The dude was so high he didn't understand what needed to be done. When I went to get it back, the whole staff was arguing and messy. Totally insane... --- Update: Yeah, I did call you and said I would call the police because you didn't tell me you kept the new tube with you. Also, the "break adjustment" is on the receipt. Now I ask you: if a customer says "change it", you don't do it? you don't inform it? and about the guy that was high you know about it because I complained at the store at the same time it happened I don't need to call you again. Such a dumb I even gave them tip. Also, I left a nice review last time I was there and now I am leaving a bad review because this is necessary. Now I wouldn't come back...

I’ve never had any work done at this shop but I will say they are always willing to let members of the community pump up their tires which is enough for me to leave 5 stars. They also have a large selection of bikes, bike locks, and knowledgeable staff.

Found the service department to be really rough around the edges and overall not very helpful. I had a flat tire and had to go back 3 times to get it fixed. In addition I paid multiple times for the correction, with no visibility into what i was paying for. I won’t be going back here for service. Also, I shopped for bikes here and found them to be over priced compared to the market.

$25 for ONE inner tube, out of all the bike shops i’ve gone to in Downtown LA, Culver City, Pasadena, Van Nuys, South Central LA i have not heard of someone charging more than $10 for ONE inner tube. when we (me and a couple friends) went to the store he came out with a rude attitude telling us he doesn’t diagnose issues on the bike and that he only repairs so we had to sit there trying to diagnose the bike when we found out it was flat, then he refused to take our bike in for repair. For the people who know well about how effortlessly you can replace one inner tube and the prices of inner tubes you know it shouldn’t cost more than $10 for one single inner tube. At that point we just ordered an Uber for my friend due to that absurd and shocking price of a replacement and horrible attitude of the people there. If i could 0 star i would. worst bike shop experience i’ve had in a 30 mile radius around DTLA. I discourage you to EVER go to this bike shop.

Went there today after looking around for the parts that I needed at every other bikestore in the neighborhood. Not only did they have the right parts in stock, but they installed them on my bike on the spot and gave the derailleurs a tune up as well. I almost never give reviews but was impressed with these guys enough to bother :-) Bottom line, the service was extraordinary and I was surprised with the amount of quality gear they have in stock.

Andrew, the owner, is super helpful, accommodating and understanding! Had an issue with the way basket was put on my bike by the previous shop owners (it fell off when I was riding it - was lucky I didn't crash) and Andrew and Marteen (who is super friendly and knowledgable) found an easy, quick fix for it when I brought my bike in and explained what had happened. They also filled my tires with a little air and greased my bike up a bit. Will definitely be using this shop as long as I am in the Culver City/Mar Vista area!

I had two bikes tuned up and Candice the owners daughter was more concerned about watching her two year old daughter than helping me. I took my bikes in separately as i could only ride one at a time and both times the customer service was horrible. Candice has a young boy about 15 years old with no knowledge and couldn't ever ring my ticket up correctly. I won't be going back as i spent $225 and got horrible service and I was treated like they didn't have time to wait on me. I was a loyal customer since 2000 and won't be going back. I called when i got home the local bike shop in Culver City and found out I would have paid half the price and that really made me mad too. When the owners daughter rang me up she didn't say thank you or come back again and i won't.
