Palmyra Beach Hotel

Faultless stay in immaculate hotel. Only stayed 3 nights but will try to revisit. Lovely staff, spacious modern bedrooms with super showers. The breakfast buffet very good. 2 minutes walk from a good beach where the water was still 20c in early December!

What a fantastic hotel. The room was spacious and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and the bar food was tasty and affordable. The pool was clean and the beach is literally across the road. The downside is the distance from Athens; its an hour away whether you use the tram or the metro. There is no nightlife nearby (although the hotel bar was very welcoming) and the idea of an hour's travel or a taxi from Athens in the wee hours was too much. But would I recomend this hotel for a seaside break plus some sightseeing in the city? Absolutely. Great value for money too!

What a lovely find this hotel was! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. They welcomed us and advised us on local places to visit and supplied me with a lovely fruit platter and bottle of wine on arrival to celebrate my husbands birthday. |The staff in the restaurant and bar always greeted us with a smile and nothing was ever too much trouble. |There was an excellent choice for breakfast too. We never struggled to find anything to eat. |The pool was lovely. It was lovely to sit there and relax. We never struggled to get a sunbed. |Our son was volunteering at the turtle sanctuary so this hotel was perfectly positioned and we also hopped on the tram to Athens. |I must say a special thank you to the lovely lady on reception, Alkyoni, she was super helpful in advising us on local attractions to visit and advising on the best way to get to them. She was also very welcoming when my son came to visit. I can’t thank her enough for all her help. It really helped make our time there extra special! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.

Great location and value for this area. You can walk to nearby beaches, restaurants and night life. The breakfast buffet is worth the cost. The options were lovely and the food was fresh. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the staff are very friendly. I would suggest opening the pool earlier for guests who enjoy morning swims. The music on the pool deck was great and the showers and washrooms were clean. The room was spacious, clean and had a balcony. The traffic is a bit loud depending on which side of the hotel your room is on, but with the exception balcony/ windows closed you cannot hear it. The hotel does have elevators and is accessible.

We stayed at the Palmyra Beach for 4 nights with a group of friends, 10 of us attending a wedding nearby. The beach is at the end of the street and it's a 5 min walk to the marina and the city centre restaurants. The welcome by Rena and the front desk team was very warm and friendly. The room was pretty large with a decent size balcony, a very comfy bed and a nice bathroom. We spend quite a bit of time by the pool which is really nice, and ate/drank a lot at Waves, the restaurant-bar of the hotel. The team there (special thanks to Christos and Ioannis) was also super friendly and looked after us day in day out. We made the lounge area overlooking the pool our second home and felt so chilled the day following the wedding. Many thanks for a very special stay, we'll be back!

What a beautiful and clean hotel, a warm welcome at the check in, very friendly lady and professional at the reception. Explained a lot about the property and the area. The room has everything you need, specious and confy. Waves restaurant is beautifully decorated, the food is outstanding delicious and generous. Staff are very polit and professional at waves. Really great place. Amazing service by everyone we encountered especially Alkyoni at the reception. Place was clean, prices were reasonable, rooms were nice. Short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed ourselves.

I booked the family room and it was filthy. Even the walls and doors were dirty. Crumbs on the floor, hair on the shower wall, mold in the bathroom, stains on the bed, stains on the chairs, stains on the couch, the list is endless. Also, the bathroom flooded when we took a shower. When we tried soaking up the water on the floor with the towel, the towel was gross from how dirty the floor was! We got in late and by that time it was too late to change our room. Paid over €400 and was only offered a €42 refund. We didn't even use the pool, it was dirty. The grout lines were black in a lot of spots just like the grout lines in our room shower! This whole place needs a deep cleaning. Also the towels they give you are thin and dingy. Supposed to be white but they all look dirty. Disgusting! Do not stay here! This place is run down!
