Paloma is a legendary late-night hotspot where eclectic tunes from reggae to electro create a vibrant, unpredictable atmosphere for dancing and mingling.
"One of the city’s most venerable underground nightspots, Paloma has a breezy and slightly unpredictable vibe that, combined with a great music policy, makes it a hit with visitors and locals alike. The pub-like upstairs bar usually has a soundtrack of electronica, pop, and reggae, and a mixed crowd of locals and tourists enjoying a few drinks. But the basement, decked out with wooden beams and a Viking ship, is where the party atmosphere gets going at weekends, as house and hip-hop DJs whip the crowds into a frenzy."

Avoid at all cost. Just look at other reviews regarding bouncers. I just stood as a by stander to a fight and got beaten bad. They literally used me as a weapon to hit the guy they wanted to throw out and was threatened to be killed by a group of bouncers after it happened. If you're lucky you'll have fun (like I had more than dozens time there), but if you're not, you can end up with an injury lasting for life - like I do now. This part of downtown Reykjavík is to be avoided, especially if you're a tourist - police won't care. Contacted owners - similar response even though there are surveillance cameras all over the place

Last night me and my friend were physically and verbally assaulted by your staff member. My friend is fighting a back pain which got much worse after we got attacked by one of the security guards at your club. I've heard stories about how you're treating your customers but always thought it's colourized until you let me expirance it on my own. I've been living here for 6 years and I visited quite a few clubs in my life but never experienced such unnecessary violence and rage! I understand that security guard position requires certain skill set but there's a thin line between being good at your work and abuse your power. I don't want to share any more details but since I was sober I can provide all the details. I thought I was living in a peaceful country and nothing of this sort can happen but your employees show something way different. Depending on the development of this case I DO NOT recommend going to that club, unless it's a private event with their own security. You can do better Paloma.

Interesting club, strange selection of music, but kind of enjoyed it nonetheless. There were some great dancers! And the staff were really friendly and very good at their jobs (I bought lots of shots)
