DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! This review doesn't even deserve a one star. PICTURES UPLOADED. This review is for my girlfriend who moved into this apartment complex just two weeks ago after the raving reviews online about how great it is and how well maintenance is. NOT TRUE! DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE THROUGHLY INSPECTED THIS PLACE SO MANY ISSUES. They kept telling her she couldn't view any of the 3 bedrooms cause maintenance was working on them, excuse after excuse. A/C didn't work right they had to replace the blower which also has mold all over it, they never cleaned it. Also moved in with a filthy air filter. The kitchen sink leaked bad had to wait few days for them to replace the parts to get that fixed. The locks on patio don't work correctly. Scratches on the wood floor in spare bedroom, The tile bathroom is cracked. The bathtub in both bathrooms was repainted horribly, paint in the drain, paint sticking up and peeling and hard so when you step on it feels like your stepping on cactus. Kitchen drawers literally falling apart. Now the fridge is not working like it should. She just went to the grocery store yesterday. All of her food is getting spoiled. She gets a pity letter from the office with two free appetizer coupons for a thank you for moving into an anxiety ridden, high stressed, crap shoot. All while she has two little boys, and two service animals. This apt complex has so many issues with their maintenance issues. If there was maybe one occurrence in this apt maybe two small ones it would be more understanding. This lack of oversight this apt has is unbelievable. They likely won't compensate her for any free rent or anything cause they simply do not care. They rather have there money and slow on getting everything done for a newly moved in tenant. Pictures are uploaded. More reviews will be made if this keeps up. Other issues cracked tile, flushers loose, sink drain in bathroom not working. They won't like a bad review is posted but she has patient long enough. On top of that while she is busy working, going to school, raising her two boys and handling her two service animals, I have been helping to assist her with unpacking and moving and management told her that they will not release any information on maintenance issues and so forth simply cause I'm not on a lease. No what that really means is you don't wanna deal with someone who actually knows what they are talking about and instead take advantage of a poor mom to get away with stuff and take advantage. As ugly as this review is. Management read this I guarantee you wouldn't move into this apt with this many issues and you wouldn't be patient either and furious if all this was happening to you. So put yourself in your own shoes if you had all this happening. No excuses whatsoever.

These are the best apartments I've lived in! The staff is always quick to answer questions and address any issues I'm having. Repair team is extremely fast to make any repairs needed. These apartments are freshly updated and clean. I have no complaints.

Absolutely beautiful place that I immediately fell in love with. Super nice and inviting! Madisen was super awesome and made us feel right at home! I definitely think I'm gonna like it here!

Since the moment I stepped foot on this property it has been nothing short of amazing. The community is very friendly. Madisen went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend!

I barely ever take the time to write reviews, but this place has been outstanding. The front office is exceptional, always prompt to help however they can. And, at least from what my wife and I experienced, the neighbors are kind and understanding. The maintenance staff is also incredibly kind and friendly. If you're looking for an apartment in Tyler, TX, this is your best option.

Just toured the apartment with Madisen and she was fantastic! She answered all of our questions and was on top of it! Add onto that the great looking apartments and the Palomar looks like the one for us!

I highly recommend Palomar apartments! It is a safe and friendly community. The amenities are always clean; the staff is super professional and always available to help. I am impressed with how quick the maintenance team is. I love my apartment. I love living here!

I highly recommend Palomar Apartments! It's a quiet complex, apartments with lots of light (many big windows), and all major amenities, including a washer and dryer, in the apartments! The staff is friendly and helpful. All my maintenance requests were solved next day by David and Colton (they were not emergencies). The grounds are well maintained and beautiful! It's a great place to live!

I've lived in 2 different apartments here. I moved to a larger one. The property and the pool are kept extremely clean. The maintenance guys respond to your requests in a timely manner. The management team are professional and are here to accommodate. its a super place to live.

I am really enjoying my Palomar apartment. The staff and grounds crew are very nice. Everything is convenient. The walls are very sound proof. So far all the people are really friendly. And since I have 2 dogs, I particularly like their almost one acre dog park. I am on the third floor. Love the view and distance from HVAC units etc. Happy Here.

Do they discriminate if your are from out of state? I have been trying to get a hold of them since June and they never returned by voice messages. When I was in town I went to their leasing office during business hours and they won't even answer the door! When I finally got a hold of one of their leasing folks she quoted me $1,525 a month for their smallest one bedroom (A1 floor plan) with a 9 month lease and $1700 something with a 6 month! By looking at their price ranges online they quoted me what their 3 bedrooms go for! There is not way that their smallest one bedroom rents for $1,525 a month. I bet no one living here is paying $1,525 a month for their one bedroom. For whatever reason it seems like they really don't want me to live there. I don't believe they follow fair housing laws and seem to either discriminate if you call with an out of state phone number or if you have a foreign sounding name? I don't really know the reason. Oh well it's their lost since I have signed a lease at a brand new apartment community nearby.

I've lived at the Palomar for several years. The staff and grounds workers are great--responsive and courteous, however, in the last year my experience of living here has been greatly down-graded by the continuous construction taking place 6 days a week for months on end. The apartments are now surrounded by commercial buildings yet the management continues to raise the rents. I will be looking for another apartment when my lease is up.
