The hotel is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We chose a small room, which was just big enough and furnished comfortably. It's very quiet here. The coffee shop inside was perfect. We had delicious cappuccinos and pastries each morning.
We chose this hotel based on its good reviews and distance from Centro. While the location was convenient and provided the quiet we wanted, I would caution others that the street it's on felt a bit disconcerting because it's so deserted at night. Walking back from the plaza at 9:30pm felt sketchy. Any later, I'd have Ubered. We had no problems, but want to warn others. After visiting Mexico City, we were surprised at that it was so unpopulated just a couple blocks from the hubbub. Next time, I think I'd stay in Americana or Tlaquepaque and Uber to the zocalo. But, inside the hotel, it is a lovely refuge.
