"While filming And God Created Woman herein 1956, French superstar Brigitte Bardot made Ramatuelle’s Pampelonne Beach a summer icon. Today, the beach and neighboring St. Tropez continue to draw celebrity jet-setters like Elton John and Kate Moss, who arrive in luxury cars and yachts to see and be seen on 100-euros-per-day loungers at Le Club 55. More adventurous visitors can tour the coast with a pair of wheels from Vélorama, or a kayak or stand-up paddleboard from Pep’s Spirit (which may be the smarter choice given the endless traffic along the local roads)."

My rating is only low because it's off-season. It's rainy, windy, cold, and none of the restaurants are open. The place is practically deserted. At the moment, there's a lot of half-constructed and partially renovated structures, and it all looks very untidy. The only real positive aspect is that the public toilets are open (functional, nice, and clean, but no toilet paper or sanitising soap in the dispenser).

Obviously beautiful beach that was empty due to cool Feb weather. Can't wait to come back when the weather is hotter.

Superb beach - totally clean water, nice waves, easy to walk in and all of the services you may need: ample parking (8 hours for roughly 20€, 30 min free), life savers services along the beach, an ice man running by with a cart and several clubs where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas plus have expensive lunches. Awesome place.

Really beautiful beach! Color of water is gorgeous, it’s soo warm and clean. Everywhere ships. Beach clubs on the left and right, very convenient. Not soo crowded. Recommend that spot.

The beach Pampelonne Beach I visited today was absolutely splendid. The azure waters of the ocean were crystal clear and full of life. The pristine shores were immaculate, and the velvety sand felt luxurious under my feet. Not a single rock could be found anywhere, enhancing the beach's allure. I highly recommend this beach as a must-visit destination.

Very beautiful beach, clean azure water, soft white sand. In summer there are a lot of people and it is very difficult to find free parking.

Beautiful long beach with clear water. It wasn’t too crowded. Nice beach bars. Beautiful scenery. It is not a small pieces sand beach so having flip flops after a while is a good idea as feet can start to hurt if you walk barefoot too long.

Yelp
A very nice beach indeed. It combines the natural beauty of Carmel (where I was born), the finest water of Hawaii and the weather of Newport Beach. Add in superb beachside restaurants (Cap 21, Les Murennes), and full service lounges to complete the day. The navette service at the better clubs provides a lovely welcome for "yacht people".
