We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pan Pacific Melbourne for the rugby and opted for a club room for our five-night visit, which we always enjoy. The view from our room was fantastic and provided a wonderful way to start each day. The hotel's location was ideal, with the DFO directly across the street, numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance, and a short stroll to the free trams.
The staff in the Club Lounge truly stood out. They were incredibly helpful, from assisting with my dry cleaning issue to offering great suggestions for exploring Melbourne. We especially appreciated our interactions with Danny, whose warm hospitality and bar skills made our experience even more enjoyable.
While we had a wonderful stay, I wanted to share a few constructive observations. The cooked breakfast options in the lounge remained the same throughout our five mornings, which was a bit disappointing. A bit more variety could enhance the breakfast experience and maintain that special touch of the lounge.
Additionally, when we arrived, we found a dirty cup and saucer in our room. Although housekeeping replaced them, they left the dirty items behind, which was a bit of a surprise. We also noticed that we ran out of tissues, and the toilet paper wasn’t replenished. Having face flannels available for the duration of our stay would have been appreciated, especially for anyone needing to remove makeup in the evening. Finally, the dry cleaning bag wasn’t replaced, which limited our ability to take full advantage of the free dry cleaning offer.
Overall, we had a great experience, and these points are just suggestions for improvement. Thank you for a lovely stay!
