"Despite its name, Pan Pacific’s second iteration at Whistler is far enough from the din of the village to feel like a mountain retreat, yet close enough to the action that an après-ski cocktail is never more than a two-minute walk. Smartly appointed “apartment-style suites” feature granite-counter kitchenettes and plenty of dark millwork, while gas fireplaces and down duvets add a dose of alpine coziness. Downstairs, the bar does double duty as a restaurant, offering up the same uninspiring dinner menu as room service, which isn’t a big deal considering how many other restaurants are close by. The hotel’s greatest attribute, however, is the ski valet at the Pan Pacific Mountainside—the Village Centre’s older and busier sibling at the base of the gondola—where guests can stash their gear, so no one has to clomp to the lifts in their ski boots every morning."

Excellent location, we were on a ski trip and the location was excellent for village activity, food drink, and fun. The ski Locker accommodations were an excellent added touch that made things very convenient as the valet transported our skis from the hotel. Access to and from the locker was extremely efficient and easy. Breakfast was so so quality but had a lot of selection. The upper level den suite was excellent with the right amount of common space and individualized sleeping quarters for privacy. We didn’t use the full kitchen, but I’m sure it would be handy with a family. I wanna give a shout out to Daisy at the front desk who was extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating, The best!

We had an amazing weekend at the Pan Pacific! The accommodations were fantastic, and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Greg from the maintenance/cleaning team, who truly went above and beyond. We were all set to go to dinner when a sudden downpour hit, and unfortunately, a large group had already taken all the hotel umbrellas. Just as we were considering canceling our reservation, Greg overheard our conversation and—without hesitation—ran to the maintenance room to find us a spare umbrella. His kindness and quick thinking saved our evening, and we couldn't be more grateful! It's that kind of service that makes a stay truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team at Pan Pacific—we'll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Pan Pacific over Thanksgiving. Service is top notch from check in to valet ski storage. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Room was large with full size kitchen, gas fireplace, balcony, deep tub and most importantly very clean. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tubs after a full day of skiing. Hotel is very pet friendly cats and dogs of all sizes for $25/pet. Suites include food/water bowls, blanket, treats, poop bags, and they offer in-suite pet sitting. The hotel is quiet even though in town and only a 5 minute walk to the gondola. Looking forward to next ski trip!

We loved this place so much that we already made reservations for next year. It would be great if they could fix the sliding door in one of the washrooms as it is hard to slide. Also, the breakfast is very good 👍 but it would be nice if the menu is changed a bit after 3 or 4 days. I would recommend this place, the service is very good and the rooms spacious and very clean. We had the penthouse with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and we truly enjoyed our time there.

Google
The room is very spacious and nice, and it has everything you need, including a kitchen. The beds are impossible to sleep in, and the service was fine, but the parking lot is very hard to find, but it was really easy to assess. Location was great, but the ski lockers were hard to find, and it was not in the hotel.

Love this hotel. It is our second time staying here and we would definitely come back. The location is perfect, the staff is friendly, the included breakfast is delicious. The apres are nice too. It’s quiet, feels like a boutique hotel. The rooms are going to be in need of an update soon but that wouldn’t stop us from staying again.

Stayed Sunday to Wednesday in a 1 bedroom upper floor. I liked having a balcony with access from the bedroom and living room. It looked out over the fire department across the street. Lovely accommodations with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove and oven. Large bathroom with a separate shower and tub. The tub was nice and deep. My room was super quiet, but I was there mid-week in the middle of October. ||One night I used the heated outdoor pool and hot tub. It was wonderful. ||Hotel is right in the heart of the village with easy walking to restaurants and shopping. Parking is underground in a gated area. You can self park or valet. Parking is $32 a day. ||I enjoyed my stay and would return. ||Only odd thing was when I booked on the hotel’s website the normal price for 3 nights was exactly the same for their “special deal” 3rd night free. A bit deceptive.

Google
Room is nice and clean in general, location is fair. Service staff were friendly and helpful enough. During checkout, the front desk lady tried to charge us for a bottle of water from the mini bar we did not take. It was cleared up only when we requested to retrieve the said bottle of water and the manager checked that all the seals were intact. The lady didn't even seem apologetic about the mistaken charge - rather disappointing service for a 4 star hotel.

Yelp
The Pan Pacific was a comfortable stay for my honeymoon in Whistler. The staff was professional and polite. We used the hotel's shuttle service to go to and from a spa which was really convenient. The room itself was very tidy and contained all the usual comforts you would expect like robes, slippers, fridge, etc.

Yelp
We love Whistler and have always stayed at the Pan Pacific. I think I will continue to do so but on account of all the changes from Covid - this experienced was remarkably different. We always book and pay for a high floor - 6-8. On this visit they acknowledged we were frequent guests - then proceeded to tell us we were on floor 4! I was ticked off as we appreciate the views and peace that the higher floors afford us and we booked months ago with the huger premiums that those rooms come with !However we were upgraded to a large suite with a den and it had beautiful high ceilings , a huge balcony and it's own exit. As well as amazing views. It was louder so they did graciously also include our parking. I ended up preferring the room and loved the view of both mountains. This hotel is in a perfect location in the village which we love but these days operates more like a rental. Housekeeping is every third day and a basic service - replacing towels and amenities and a very basic clean ! So each day you are making your own bed, cleaning your own kitchen and taking out your trash. Not a huge deal - but when I am on vacation , I prefer hotels so I can get a break from what we do every day at home. This is not typical hotel service and it has made us consider rentals in the future. Breakfast which to be fair most hotels do not provide for free - used to be a buffet. Now they deliver to your room - that I personally prefer as you can enjoy in your Pjs and don't have to deal with queue jumpers. It's a nice choice ranging from cook your own eggs and bacon, vegan burritos, bagels and salmon, yogurt , waffles or cereal . It was great and we found we far had more than we needed ... it was a chill way to start the day and we picked up coffee in the village to make our own each day .Service- like the rest of Whistler night now - is very hit or miss. ! We were locked out of our safe for three days and there is no help with luggage etc . Love the property - great pool and sauna, large rooms and great location - just be aware it's more like a rental than a full service hotel

Yelp
I have been coming here for the past 11 years. What I love about it is the fact that they offer large 2 or 3 bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchen. I come here with my 2 kids and family so I need the large rooms and we like to cook home made food so it is perfect for us. They are priced fairly reasonable for what they offer. The location is very convenient. It is not a an ultra luxury hotel but it is luxury enough for a ski resort. It's walking distance from everything so very convenient. The breakfast is okay and ever since covid they only have cold breakfast in room. That is one of my complaints. The service over all is pretty good. 5 for the large suite 2 for the breakfast service

C. H.

Yelp
This was definitely one of the best hotel stays in Whistler that I have enjoyed over the years. We were able to check in early and check out later. We stayed in one of the penthouses during this visit. There was more than enough space for the five of us to roam in the suite. Room was clean. View was fantastic. Unfortunately, there was no longer a hotel buffet offered with covid precautions in place. Instead, you get to order a continental breakfast to be dropped off to your room. I really miss the buffet option as it was part of the experience. However, I was able to spend more time with family and enjoy our suite a bit longer. Our suite was stocked with pans, utensils, plates, etc you would need to cook a meal. If you want to use their pool, you sign up at the front desk. There was a 2 hour limit for pool times. The front desk also provided the pool towels. Staff have been friendly during our stay. I look forward to returning to this hotel again in the near future.

Yelp
We had an amazing stay here at the Pan Pacific. The location was amazing right in the Village Centre. The staff were all super friendly and the rooms were very cozy. The Room we had had a little kitchen in it was perfect. Definitely would come back here again.

Srdjana K.

Yelp
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Only steps away from the village and a morning Starbucks coffee just down the stairs. My husband and I decided to extend our stay in whistler by a day and booked here last minute. We were welcomed by both the valet and front desk in a friendly manor. It's definitely off season now and you can tell but it didn't matter, our stay was great. We got upgraded to a two bedroom suite that was very spacious and came with a full kitchen. We didn't use it much but this room would be perfect for a bigger group. The pool, hot tub and sauna were a great on a sunny but crisp Whistler day, absolute perfection. The rooms were a bit dated looking but very clean and functional. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Breakfast here means Cook your own raw bacon and eggs First, my family and I have stayed at various Pan Pacific locations over the past 15 years. I understood that, as a member, We would receive a free upgrade, if available. I reserved a 1 bedroom suite. We were given a suite with a view onto a dark courtyard surrounded by other rooms. I asked for a room with something of a view, then we were upgraded. The funniest thing is, we chose to stay here because of the free breakfast! Instead it turns out you can have free cereal, or a burrito that you heat up in the microwave. But- any actual traditional breakfast you have to cook basically from scratch. Honest to God I was given raw bacon and eggs - and bread that didn't fit in the toaster. I could have saved money by staying at a better hotel, like the Fairmont or four seasons, and ordered breakfast in. I will in future. Management informed that a lot of people love cooking their own breakfast!? Almost funny if my kid wasn't so disappointed

S W.

Yelp
My very expensive ski jacket that I wore during the trip and hung up in the hall closet in our room was stolen during my stay. Beware of this hotel. This was our 5th stay here and now I don't trust the staff . Pretty disgusting to know that you can check into a hotel and the staff will steal your personal items.

Mel L.

Yelp
We booked a 3 bedroom penthouse suite along with a 2 bedroom suite for a bachelorette overnight. The 3 bedroom has an amazing view from the balcony. Very comfortable for our stay and it allowed us a lot of space to gather, distribute gifts and have a few drinks before heading out. We had debated over this property or staying at Nita Lake Lodge but for the location, this one was definitely the winner. It's so easy to step outside and head anywhere in the Village by foot. They also include breakfast which we did enjoy before heading over for a spa day.

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Just like a restaurant with a killer view that makes little effort on its food... Pan Pacific is free riding on its unparalleled location(s). The hotel has an early 90s feel, but our room was clean and comfortable. Service was usually helpful, but sometimes a little off... computer systems were down on checkout and would be back "in a few days", ski bags weren't transported back from ski valet, room wasn't ready until around 4pm on arrival. The included breakfast was an embarrassment... served buffet style in a cramped and awkward spot, they'd be better off discontinuing it. If you want the best hotel in Whistler Blackcomb I'm pretty certain it's the Fairmont, if you want the best location there a few somewhat dated and mediocre options and this is one of them.

Geoffrey C.

Yelp
The Pan Pacific proved to be a relaxing success (booking: mid-August). The central village location was excellent (be careful - there's another Pan Pacific close by, near the gondola), large, luxurious rooms, dog-friendly, and generally accommodating staff. Our only mishaps included an inability to check in prior to 4 pm (on a Saturday), and a zombie-like encounter with valet on our way out (perhaps, Cannabis-induced) -- although he unfortunately left a pungent lingering body odor in the vehicle (suggesting some self-hygiene opportunities for improvement).

Ashley M.

Yelp
This is the third winter visit for my husband, our four year old, and myself. Pros: -full breakfast every morning -a few family board games for the apres ski they host -very friendly valet -we've always been upgraded upon our arrival -nice lobby and nice rooms -very comfortable beds -full kitchen has everything we'd ever need Cons: -window seals aren't great because precipitation kept leaking through the windows onto the sill -the worst toilet paper I have ever had in a hotel -the breakfast was the exact same thing every single day. The last time we were here there were different options every day. -when the apres room was full, the staff had no idea what to do for those of us who came in. It was like they had never had to deal with people before. -it's mostly quiet, but you can definitely hear the people outside walking from the bars

Yelp
Excellent hotel in Whistler! I stayed here this weekend with my mom, finance, brother-in-law and sister this weekend and it was great. The Pan Pacific is one of two Pan Pacific's in the Village and is located in the perfect spot, just a few steps from everything! We stayed in the two bed room suite and it was perfect for what we needed. A patio with a great view, two bathrooms (with a shower and jacuzzi tub), a queen size bed, a king size bed and the couch pulls out into a queen bed. There is a full kitchen with all the supplies needed; cooking ware, utensils, microwave, stove top, etc. There is an awesome continental breakfast in the morning from 7am-10am, two hot tubs located outside and a heated pool. The only thing I disliked was the size of the gym, it was the smallest gym i've ever been in, but because the sauna was the same size, it made up for it I guess.. There is also a full spa in the hotel, private parking and a very classy lounge. The staff is awesome and helpful and they allow dogs! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is coming with a group and wants to stay in the village.

Chad C.

Yelp
This is a fantastic hotel located right in the center of Whistler Village Centre providing you access to all the stores/restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very modern with many built in wood amenities with flat screen televisions. Free wifi is provided along with a full kitchen. We had a two bedroom suite which also had a large pull out sofa, this was able to comfortably sleep two adults, two teens, and three young children. This resort/hotel is on par with many of the other high end chains (Ritz Carlton/Waldorf Astoria). Woohoo ! As good as it gets !

Becky K.

Yelp
Beautiful, modern, clean hotel in the middle of Whistler Village. Restaurants, shopping, and ski lifts are literally steps out the front door. The hotel has a spa, work out room, sauna, heated pool and hot tubs. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was furnished with a full kitchen, including pots, cups, plates, utensils, etc. The living room included a gas fireplace and flat screen wall mounted television. The bedroom was a separate room with a king bed. The resort has a sister hotel at the bottom of the ski lifts. All the amenities at the sister resort are included. Great friendly staff.

Brian D.

Yelp
We normally stay at the Pan Pacific Mountainside, but our group has grown and we needed a 3 bedroom instead of the 2 bedroom offered at Mountainside. We were nervous about switching hotels, but they did not disappoint. From the valet to check-in through checkout, the experience was wonderful. At check-in, they offered that the valet would take our skis over to a locker in Mountainside. I can't tell you how convenient that was, alleviating the need to haul our skis to the mountain every day. They even left a gift for us in the room on the first day, an unnecessary but very nice gesture. After a long day of skiing, our tired legs fell in love with the adults only hot tub to soothe our sore muscles. The hotel is very family friendly, many families found in the restaurant for the complimentary breakfast buffet. Even with the size of this hotel, they handled the inflow of guests at the breakfast with ease. We barely waited for a table, were able to eat and head to the mountain efficiently to maximize the skiing. I think I can safely say we will be back next year.

Yelp
Wow! What a lovely stay. Our room was gorgeous and the bed was so soft and comfortable. The best location with such warm and welcoming staff. We felt pampered. It was a home away home with delicious breakfast every morning. We love the Pan Pacific!

Steve R.

Yelp
I rarely give 5 stars but this is pretty damn close 1. accomodations were excellent. 2. free breakfast is very welcome but its a limited breakfast but great value 3. pool is adequate 4. service was very friendly 5. no real restaraunt or food otherwise-room service was from earls...earls sucks. dont ever eat at earls. 5 stars are reserved for extraordinary service and experience provided by the hotel. they didnt do that for me but they certainly were 4 star worthy by being great at what they do. make sense?

Vivian N.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here over Valentine's weekend and had the BEST experience ever! For the last few years, we had stayed at the Westin and after reading reviews, decided to try the Pan Pacific Village Centre. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite and that alone, made our experience awesome. The staff was so kind to even offer us a mountain view upgrade on top of that, at a very small fee which of course we did. For me, I feel like the customer experience based on the customer service will make or break a trip. This hotel definitely did not fail to make us feel really special and taken care of. I do not mind paying top dollar for the type of customer service we received from the staff at this hotel. We had a Spa Day there and it was amazing, as well. I enjoyed my luxury pedicure and my boyfriend LOVED his Sports Massage. They also offer a really nice complimentary breakfast which is a HUGE plus. All in all, words cannot even express how happy we were staying here. As I mentioned before, not only was the facility fantastic, but the experience is everything. THANK YOU Pan Pacific for offering us an amazing weekend we will never forget. We will be back every year now and will recommend this hotel to all of our friends.

Greg H.

Yelp
The rooms where nice but there is a lot that needs major improvement. The Spa is the worst I've ever been in for a 4-5 star hotel. The lobby is small and has nothing in it. I wouldn't stay here again. I recommend the Fairmont is 100 times better.

Sylvia B.

Yelp
I feel deep in love with this place! The next time I got to Whistler I am going to come back here no questions asked. Upon check in we upgraded to a one bedroom suite (we initially booked a studio) and I will say it is SO worth the extra money to get a one bedroom. The rooms was clean, spacious, had a fireplace, a kitchen, a little balcony, great bathroom and a really comfortable bed. They had an in room safe and enough space where you can hang your jackets and pants. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is in the center of the village and a block from the gondolas. The one thing that made this hotel amazing were the amenities! They provide you with a complimentary locker at their sister Hotel the "Pan Pacific Mountainside". This hotel is a three minute walk away from the Pan Pacific Village Center. The locker was great to have. Rather than carrying our boards back and forth we were able to have our gear right by the gondolas. Also it's is really secure since you need a room key to open the main doors to the lockers. They also give you lockers with combinations so that is an extra security. Upon departure they delivered our boards to our room in order for us to pack them. From 4-5pm they have free happy hour. So for one hour you can drink (beer or/and wine) for free. They also offer free breakfast in the morning. The menu would change day to day but the staples of yogurt, pastries, toast, muffins and fruit were always available. The WiFi was free and the staff was great! Top notch and deserves all the rave reviews it has received!

Holly M.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel! This is set in an awesome location, with many restaurants, bars, and amenities close buy. Our room was immaculate. We had the penthouse suite. Very spacious. We were disappointed for a room that sleeps up to 7 people you only receive one complimentary parking spot. The continental breakfast was ok. The coffee was terrible. I would recommend going somewhere else for your coffee.

Susan M.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, beautiful amenities, great location. Eat at Earl's which is right next door - great food. They also provide a complimentary breakfast - great! Fireplace, in room safe, ultra comfy beds -- this is worth the 4.5 star rating they have. I would stay here again. Wifi - good, parking $25/day :(

lisa w.

Yelp
This is a much overdo review from our stay in Summer 2007. We booked a 2 bath 2 bed condo for a family of four and this place was perfect for us. Full Kitchen with Granite and stainless steal appliances if you want to cook. Nice fireplace and definitely spacious enough for la familia. It looks just like the photos on the internet. Breakfast buffet in the morning was top notch with fresh foods. Only knock here is that it got a little crazy some mornings. Staff, including valet and front desk was really helpful and helped us book jetboating and other activities (including the kids club for my preschooler) Overall - great service and location. I would go back. What's not to like about Whistler in the Summer

Dawn G.

Yelp
Excellent location, beautiful suites! My husband and I took our first trip as a married couple to this hotel in November 2015. A bit partial as we stayed at another hotel a year earlier when we got engaged in Whistler, but had a wonderful experience! Upon reserving the room we noted it was our first trip as a married couple and were wonderfully surprised that not only did they upgrade us to a one-bedroom suite with views of the mountain, but were welcomed to the room with a personalized note from staff and bottle of champagne! Overall architecture and interior design is gorgeous, rooms are beautiful and spacious with upgraded amenities. The kitchen had stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and living room was very cozy with a fireplace adjacent to the picturesque mountain view. The balcony fit two adults comfortably, and best of all (especially in the winter) a coat hook near the door was a functional yet convenient feature. The location is perfect for anyone hitting the mountain whether it be summer or winter as the lift is steps away. There's naturally more foot-traffic in the area, but room seemed to drown out the noise from the village when winding down in the evening. In-room dining was delicious and served hot. The Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub is located at the base of the hotel and had excellent breakfast with a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Nancy M.

Yelp
We had a very comfortable and happy stay at the Pan Pacific a couple of weeks ago. We were on a couples trip and we booked a two bedroom two bathroom suite for the weekend. Our suite on the 3rd floor was roomy and quiet. The master bedroom had an en suite bathroom with a separate tub and shower. The second bedroom was not connected directly to the second bathroom, you had to go through the living area to reach the bathroom even though the bedroom and the bathroom are adjacent rooms. The kitchen is not very well stocked, but I managed to find a pot, a whisk, and a few mugs to make hot chocolate, otherwise we didn't need to use the kitchen. The living room was cozy enough with a nice fireplace that you can turn on and off with a switch. Extra blankets can be found in the storage ottomans in the middle of the living room. Our view wasn't great, it was of the street and of the fire station across the street. Our bed was very comfortable and I slept wonderfully. The location in Whistler Village is perfect. We had super easy access to tons of restaurants and activities right outside our door. Starbucks was just down some stairs outside of the hotel if you want something different than what is offered at the Pan Pacific's complimentary breakfast. The complimentary breakfast from the hotel is decent. Eggs, breakfast meat, breakfast potatoes, and assorted breads and fruits. It's nothing special, but its fast and filling. Their après ski was somewhat lacking. They were offering complimentary s'mores, but they were always out. They were offering complimenting cookies, but they were labeled as "Children's Cookies," or something like that so I felt bad taking any. The only thing there was enough of was bowls of trial mix. Their hot chocolate was delicious, though not free, and you can even upgrade it with some Bailey's. One of the best perks of staying here is the locker that they provide for your ski/snowboard gear at their sister property, Pan Pacific Mountainside, right outside of the main village gondolas. This way you don't have to haul your gear back and forth each day. All in all this is a good place to hang your hat while you're in town.

Yelp
This is now my favourite hotel in Whistler. When we checked in we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The suite was spacious and nicely decorated- stainless steel appliances, etc. The bed was really comfortable, 2 flatscreens, a balcony, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have absolutely no complaints about this place!

Lorna B.

Yelp
Great suite! There was a nicely appointed kitchen, plenty of seating and a fireplace. The bed was a bit softer than my back can handle, but my hubby was comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to the area with shopping and restaurants. Earl's Kitchen just a few steps from the front door had great food and service. Parking seemed a little pricey, but it's a resort town so it's probably expensive everywhere.

Kathy Z.

Yelp
We stayed 3 days during the summer and we had a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit facing the mountain. The room was fantastic, clean, very spacious. The breakfast was very healthy and filling. The staff was nice and very helpful. The location is perfect.

Derek E.

Yelp
We stayed here in Feb. 2017 We make on average two trips a year to Whistler. This was our first time at The Pan Pacific Whistler Village. The Hotel was very conveniently located in the center of the Village. We booked a one bedroom high floor with a balcony. The room was very nice. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the full kitchen was a nice touch. We didn't cook however we did make use of the full size fridge for beverages and snacks. The room also has a microwave for leftovers ect. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. It is served buffet style. The service was top notch. We felt very taken care of. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and hot tub. We used this after a long day of skiing on the mountain. Another really nice perk of staying at the Pan Pacific is the mountainside ski valet. This service offers you a free locker and changing room at the base of Whistler. Overall we enjoyed our stay and do plan to return again in the future!

Jess P.

Yelp
The staff are so friendly and helpful here! Always a smile on their faces and ready to help, it was really a nice change :) We reserved a room with the BC residents package which gave us complimentary parking. This was very convenient since parking was normally $28/day or something ridiculously high like that. We also had access to wifi, which was very nice. The girl at the counter gave us a sheet of information that was very useful, like the wifi password, nearby restaurants, when and where the complimentary breakfast is served, etc, so all our questions were pretty much answered. The hotel itself was smaller than expected but very cozy. Unfortunately, there was a smell in our room that was not pleasant at all, like something has been damp or dirty for a long time. We tried to brew some coffee to cover that smell but the coffee machine didn't work, despite following the written instructions. We eventually opened the balcony door to let in some air and it helped a little, but when we came back later, the smell was still there, so I don't think it's something that can be fixed by us :( We were able to use their sauna and hot tub after dinnertime and everything was clean and sanitary. The breakfast buffet was convenient but selection was limited. They didn't have hot foods like scrambled eggs or sausages or hash brown. They did have a lot of cold cuts and fruits, and also had pastries and bagels and bread that you could toast. Compared to other hotels I've been to that have complimentary breakfast, I'm sad to say this place does not rank very high. The location is probably the best thing going for this hotel. The Village is within minutes from the hotel and there is a Starbucks, shoppers drug mart, and various restaurants nearby. Overall, service and location was great, but I will probably be looking into other places to stay next time I come to Whistler.

Yelp
We recently visited Whistler and I was very disappointed with the place. I stayed here several years ago and the decor is exactly the same. No money has been spent to keep the rooms 'fresh' looking. We had issues with 'no hot water' in the morning and were told by an incredibly arrogant person at reception 'that it is peak time and that the building is at 96% occupancy'. I found the response unacceptable and informed the receptionist very politely 'that was why we were paying peak accommodation rates'. I was offered to change rooms but was only told later that there were no 2 bedroom units left due to it being a peak time. I was informed that maintenance had made changes to their boiler systems however, in order to have a hot shower we had to shower outside 'peak times' ie not in the morning before everyone goes out skiing and not at 3pm when everyone was returning from the ski slopes. I was offered a voucher to go to the pools at Scandinavia Spa - this voucher was not used. We had four nights when there was a Marijuana smell coming from the air conditioning vents. We reported the issue and were told that 'Marijuana is legal in Canada'. Given smoking is not permitted in the apartments this response was palpable. We were given a bottle of air freshner to spray on the vents.

Yelp
In a word, WOW. Where to begin? First, we got upgraded from a studio suite with two beds to a one bedroom plus den suite which is probably almost twice the square footage of my current apartment. The den, while small, had a pullout couch and a TV so it was essentially a functioning second bedroom in addition to the pullout couch in the main living area which would sleep another two people. The suite had two small but really nice full baths, one with a shower-tub and one with a glass shower. I know some people would prefer one large bathroom, but in a suite that comfortably sleeps up to six, I think the two bathrooms were a good choice in terms of planning the layout. The suite also came with not one, not two, but three flat screen TVs! (One in the main living area, one in the den and one in the bedroom.) Definitely not necessary, but again, if you were cramming six people in here (we were a group of three), very convenient. The large living area also included a fireplace, balcony, huge dining table that could comfortably fit six or eight people, plus a fully kitted-out kitchen. Needless to say, the suite was very impressive. The staff were also super helpful and friendly at all times. They answered our questions like the pros they are, called us randomly on the first night to make sure our suite was to our liking, and nightly offered turn-down service, as well as complimentary newspapers in the morning. Extra amenities outside the suite included the breakfast buffet each morning, complimentary wine and beer from 4-5pm and great gym/sauna/outdoor pool and hot tub facilities. The breakfast buffet was delicious and always included a variety of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, yogurt, baked goods, cereal, fresh coffee and other assorted hot dishes that varied each morning. This is definitely the cream of the crop in terms of hotels in Whistler. And of course, it is located mere steps from the gondolas. (The sister hotel, Pan Pacific Mountainside, is literally about 3 steps from the Blackcomb gondola.) I really look forward to another opportunity to stay here.

Yelp
This is my favorite whistler hotel. Our suite comes with full kitchen and utensils. Full luxury feel and accommodations. Easy access to the village. Staffs are great. Heated pools and spa are great. Excellent views also. We're glad we're not staying at the mountain side Pan Pacific, that one is so close to the gondola station, restaurant and longhorn bar where all the music and noise would last to the end of night. Plus the village location is the only Pan Pacific that serves free breakfast. The winter free breakfast is more extensive and they do free happy hour drink and snacks also then.

Yelp
Greeted by awesome hot (and taken) Scott who worked in valet.. he started our trip off right! We got a great room with a full kitchen, ipod player, enough room for the 3 of us. It felt really comfy and relaxing at the same time. We spent the day by the nice pool overlooking the ski hills. Oh and they have a great continental breakfast! We asked for a late check out and we really needed it, and we got it! I would totally go back here. Located in the heart of village, accessible to all the happening stuff.

Yelp
This is probably one of the better hotels in the village, so the price is reflected in that statement. Everything from check in to check out was great. They even held on to my food for a few hours after I had checked out. Rooms were very nice and clean. Pool was small, but big enough for my pre-teen kids. The only issue was that the rate they had in their system was different from the one that was confirmed to me. I brought it up and they quickly resolved it. The free complimentary breakfast was one of the best perks since you can go down until 11am, and eat enough to cover lunch as well.

Yelp
Our second stay here and lived up to expectations. Spacious room (though sofa bed mattress needs a refresh!), large bathroom. Breakfast in the AM is solid. Staff are extremely friendly. The location can't be beat. Will return when we come back.

Yelp
Just stayed four nights at the hotel. It was great. Fantastic location - literally steps from the village - restaurants, grocery store, drug store, etc. The hotel staff was exceptional - we had just completed a trip to Canada with various stops including the Four Seasons - the Pan Pacific staff was the best. Had a kid who got sick in bed one night - really sick....it was awful. Called the hotel and they arrived literally in under a minute - changed all the sheets without saying a word - refused to let me take the sheets to their laundry. The breakfast was fantastic every morning - lots of variety - enough to put a couple pounds on me. The happy hour was a nice addition as well although I didn't really deserve a free beer everyday. If I could change a few things at the hotel it would be this 1) it was really hard to control the heat in the rooms if you had the fireplace on - the main room would hit about 25-30 and the bedroom would only be 18 - even opening the doors in the room/bathroom didn't seem to help. 2) The gym was a little tiny - was hoping for a little more equipment. Other than that, it was great. Hard to imagine picking another place next time when they've got it all there.

Yelp
excellent location smack dab in the village so close to the shops, restaurants, and ski lifts the hotel itself was very nice, clean, modern. lots of different choices- we went with the one bedroom. bed was comfy, nice balcony where you could see the village and a full on kitchen. And.. service was awesome!

Yelp
Perfect to ski in/ out of, great suites, attentive service. Kitchenette with basics giving the option of in room breakfast or even cooking, assigned ski locker, family had a great time.

Yelp
The location is very convenient. The hotel is right at the centre of the village. The service is mediocre. The personnel are not willing to do the extra mile. We booked a two-bedroom suite but did not receive any slippers. During breakfast the waitress came to our table while we were still eating. She told us they were closed and had 5 minutes to leave! Having worked in the service industry for over 20 years, I was stunned! Breakfast was until 10:00 and it was 10:25. You never ask customers to leave unless they are being unruly or drinking too much. A breakfast place is not a store. A hotel needs to feel like a home and when customers would like to stay longer in any of the public places specially the dining place, you do not chase them away.

Yelp
This was a great place to stay for a family vacation. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 5 adults and 1 toddler and 2 dogs it was perfect! The amenities were great and the people were very friendly. The location was right at the edge of the village so while it was in the village it wasn't right in the middle so you didn't have all the noise at night. The reason I gave 4 and not 5 star is that the rates for each room only include 2 adults, even the 2 & 3 bedroom suites, so there was an added $30/nt/extra adult. So keep that in mind when you book. Great for a family with lots of kids, but adds up when it's a group of mainly adults.

Yelp
Great staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed. Very affordable and can't beat the location. Pool and Irish bar are nice and convenient.

Yelp
Arrived for a 2-night stay in the 3 bedroom penthouse suite. Customer service at every department I came in contact with was beyond superior. I have never experienced a "sincere" level of customer service at a hotel. This alone was probably the best aspect of the hotel. Everything is crowed in the Whistler village, and this hotel is no exception. Very small lap pool and two spacious hot tubs that are outside. This is probably one of the best places to stay in Whistler if you want direct access to the village. Unfortunately, I just didn't get a "WOW" feeling being here. Its nice, clean, up to date, but I wouldn't say it was luxurious. I would stay here again and also recommend it to friends.

Yelp
This rating relates to the price for staying here relative to the experience. For a $800-1000 a night hotel over the holiday, we were very dissapointed and exhausted returning from what should have been a relaxing holiday. Unlike the sister hotel Pan Pacific Mountainside, this hotel ACCEPTS PETS. As as a result, we were put in a room that had just had a dog in it and my son and I had one of the worst asthma attacks we have ever had that night. We appreciated the front desk staff moving us to an equivalent room that had not had a dog in the last 6 weeks but we both continued to have asthma attacks each night for the entire 8 days of our stay. We assume this is related to the ventilation of the hotel and not just whether or not the carpets were adequately cleaned. It is frustrating because the outdoor air in Whistler is so refreshing and mountain clean. We found that opening the door at night to let some fresh air in helped but then the rooms were freezing. Net, this simply should not be happening in a high end hotel. Location - fantastic. Not on the slopes but in the heart of the village and a fantastic place to stay for New Years. Staff - front desk is very friendly and accomodating, cleaning ladies are fantastic - folded my sons blanky and arranged his toys every day and generally fantastic light cleaning each day Room - comparable to a three or four star room with kitchen in slopeside Squaw which would be half the price over the same period Ski storage - 5 stars. Fantastic. We stored our skis at Pan Pacific mountainside which is so convenient to the slopes. Noise - 5 stars. The insulation must be good because we couldn't hear other guests at all.

Yelp
Just got back from 3 nights at the pan pacific whistler village. Sooo much better than the chateau whistler. No comparison. The service is similar to the four seasons: no such word as no. Chateau whistler they'll tussle with you given the chance. Most important difference is the rooms at the pan. very well appointed with wood trim and good room layouts. Pan vs chateau whistler Pan wins hands down. No contest. Also way better located. Right in the village where the action is.

Yelp
this spot is legit. big kitchen. full sized fridge (full of beer). large bathroom with split shower/tub. looking forward to hitting the 'cuzzi after the mountain tomorrow. :)

Yelp
Please think deeply when you book this place for family vacation because they don't consider or share same values for family or have a heart for children. They DONT CARE if your child is sick or death. (Tony in Seattle)
