I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this beautiful place. The service, the rooms, park and the restaurant is just perfect. We spent 1 night there and wished we had make a reservation for 2 nights instead of 1. The park is the most beautiful park I have ever visited in Honduras. Is not easy to get there but once there you don’t want to leave. I recommend the pollo a la reina at the restaurant it’s delicious and the portions are generous. Lots of birds and beautiful waterfalls at a very short walk distance. Highly recommended 👌💚

Cool place, weather wasn’t great but despite that you can tell it’s a nice location. Biggest hummingbirds I’ve ever seen. Definitely recommend if you’re in Honduras and like nature and hiking! They have easy hikes and more difficult hikes as well

Mountain, jungle, birds 🐦, lizards 🦎 and ✨️ amazing 🌇 sunset, and morning 🌄 views. If you like this type of activity I highly recommend it. Now, why just 2 stars for service, because the people here are used to campers and an occasional one to two night stays so they try to do the best they can with their knowledge of customer service so just go easy on them. The place is great. There's plenty to walk around and amazing views. Some trails are just 8 minutes to the first waterfall and then 2 hours for the biggest one (considering you are a hiker with endurance you can do 2 hours); myself, I do it in about 4 hours. There are plenty of mosquitoes, so considering that , it wasn't that bad. Cabins have warm water, some hot and A/C, which was a lifesaver considering the great humidity in there. Now, most of what you pay goes to conservation and protection efforts. You can also take amazing photos and videos of hummingbirds. The hotel is on the expensive side if you're using their cabins and rooms.

Excellent place to see God’s creation! Lots of birds and a great variety of trees. Also a stream nearby with some beautiful waterfalls. There also are various trails to hike on. On the long trail there is some very beautiful views, especially of the lake. I would recommend starting on the left hand side of the mountain and getting most of the hiking behind you and then coming down on the side where there is a waterfall. They have made some bird watching towers. On the deck on the side of the lodge facing the lake they have hummingbird feeders and there you can see a wide variety of hummingbirds. Overall just one beautiful place!

We had an excellent time at Panacam Lodge. Great memories.||Our group was made up of 2 adults and 2 kids.||It was a delight to have breakfast with the hummingbirds and see glimpses of the wildlife roaming through the vegetation, with Lake Yojoa in the background.||The food was top-notch, and the craft beers were super.||We did the Sinai trail and had a blast - even the kids. Apply bug spray, though.||Our room was in the Oropendolas block, and even though it was not fancy there was no need for anything else, what with its views. We stayed for 2 nights.||Would go back if I could.|||Con: the road to get there was in awful shape in July-August 2023. A 4WD vehicle is recommended.

I have been here and its an amazing place to comute with nature, but without warning they changed the rules in easter week and even though its a national park they didnt allow us to camp or make our own food, they tried to make us rent a $100 room without AC and to buy the restaurant food, which was closed by 7pm. Terrible experience and not the way to go if you want people more in contact with the natural attractions of Cerro Azul/Meambar Park. Hopefully the greed goes away when the holidays end.

Awesome little area with beautiful hiking trails and little waterfalls to visit. Great views. Food at the restaurant isn't too bad, and I've heard it's a fun place to spend the night. Good for camping or hardened cabins.

The rooms are very clean. Our room had a personal balcony with comfortable lunge chairs and hammock. The food at the restaurant is very good and the social area is very nice. The service at the restaurant is a bit slow but manageable. The trails are amazing and very well kept. Highly recommended
