Delicious coffee + pastry.

Panadería Rosetta Puebla

Hasmik M.

Google
The place deserves all the hype they are receiving - pastries are amazing, especially guava roll, as well as coffee and golden milk. This branch is way smaller then the main one but has no line at all, so it's very convenient for take out. The staff is great

Tiffany V

Google
4.7/5 Guava Roll -- incredibly well laminated dough, so crisp! Personally wish the guava jam was smooth rather than chunky. Absolutely worth the wait! 4.3/5 Berry and Pastry cream roll 4/5 Concha 4.7/5 Flat White -- easily one of the best ones I had in CDMX! Espresso flavor was very strong and fragrant, went very well with the pastries!

Kim M.

Google
Excellent flat white coffee here (and at the other Panadería Rosetta) The pastries are wonderful, tasty & fresh with a huge variety. Show up when they open at 7 am for the best selection. Some tables and benches outside but also a rooftop terrace (although we didn’t visit it).

Google
I love this location as it’s less busy as the main one. Food is delicious and amazing as always. Unfortunately the service has gone downhill. The waiters are always on their phones, at least the day I came, and you have to stare and flag them in order for service at your table.

Aslee V.

Google
Came right when they opened. I tried the guava danish as most people reviewed it being good. Definitely worth it. I used to think you would need to heat up these pastries but they way they were made were fresh. Once you take a bite, you won’t be disappointed!

Anton S.

Google
Yes, this is the same bakery as Rosetta at Colima. No queue here though! Totally worth the hype - the guava roll / danish is 10/10! Also delicious fresh orange juice

Jessica W.

Google
A smaller outpost of the original panaderia. The guayaba roll is still awesome. Also love the cherry tomato focaccia.

Google
I stopped in after arriving after a 6 hr flight that morning and ordered a cappuccino & a spinach and cheese croissant. The croissant tasted unique snd yummy. My partner ordered a latte and a guava pastry, and both tasted good. The bar seating in the bakery area gave us a quiet place to sit and was a solid stop for coffee and pastries before we continued on with our day.

Yelp
My husband were in CDMX for a weekend and had time before our check-in time at our hotel. This was a perfect place to grab some coffee and a pastry. I ordered the "Guava Rol" and a side of bacon. Ay, ay, ay the guava roll was exceptionally good. Flakey and buttery and the filling was delightful. Service was friendly and the ambiance was laid back and because we were there so early it was fairly empty. Not going to lie...it was a bit pricey but worth the experience.

Yelp
I'm a fan of all things bread, so stopped here twice while staying in Roma Norte but unfortunately found Panadería Rosetta to be overhyped. Scant lines and decent service, but the flavors just weren't special. My favorite sweet bread was the mini panettone, which while slightly dry included the requisite candied fruit bits enrobed in comforting, eggnoggy crumb. The guava pastry was OK, but far inferior in taste and texture to a Cuban style guava pastry. The mamey cream filled donut was forgettable, as the mamey flavor was overwhelmed by the monotone pastry cream. But most disappointing was the marranito - I was so excited to see this seasonal gingerbread piggy on the shelf, but the bland flavor (no molasses or ginger notes at all) made me sad.

Yelp
Its a must if you are in Mexico City. There is not a single day there is no line. Cute little bakery/cafe and they have outdoor seating available. If you love bread you will love this place. We had to save our stomach for other food so we ordered two bakery item and two coffees. Guava roll was the best and my husband ordered caramel bread. Their americano was super smooth and good too. The line for togo is to the right of the cafe and you check in at the counter if you want to dine there. Cute cafe and its decorated super cute and multiple cashiers inside when you enter.
google avatar

Yelp
This place does get quite busy but it seems everybody just gets coffee to go. Tip... if you're planning on dining in, there spots available, sit down. You pretty much skip the line. The service was great, the drink with beets was interesting in a way I didn't taste the actually beets, and the sandwich along with the pastry was delicious. It's a great spot to get a quick bite!

Yelp
Panaderia Rosetta is a must visit whenever I'm in CDMX and the guava pastry here is really what you have to try! All the pastries and breads are delicious and perfect as a grab and go for breakfast. The bakery usually gets pretty busy but it's quick to order and then they'll call out your name with the order is ready. The guava pastry is super fresh with a delicious jam center and cream cheese filling. The pastry crust is light and flaky. I also liked the pan de muerto I got recently when I visited in Oct which is a day of the dead specialty with orange blossom flavor. I also love the whole wheat honey croissant for the texture of the heartier croissant and the crispy outer layer from the dip in honey. Really delicious!

Yelp
The selection of bread is ginormous. It all looked so good it was definitely hard to decide which bread to eat. Service was great and fast our server made recommendations which we greatly appreciated. It is a very cozy and quiet location great spot to enjoy your coffee and views of the neighborhood. Definitely worth a visit and recommend for their great selection of pastries.

Yelp
To say I enjoyed my coffee and pastries here would be an understatement. I visited Panderia Rosetta everyday on my trip after having their guava pastry on my first day ... it is absolutely amazing! Each day, my boyfriend and I would get a cappuccino, guava pastry and then try a new pastry as well. The guava pastry remained the winner through all 5 visits, but all of the other items were good as well! I enjoyed their little seating area right in front of the cafe but also loved that they overed the terrace with an extended menu and service upstairs! Due to visiting at different times and there being different wait times, we tried all methods of to-go, front seating and upstairs seating... all were good options! This panderia is a must visit place while visiting Mexico City!

Yelp
These are some fine pastries and pastry related breakfast items: served by hard-working & charming staff... What more can you ask for? great atmosphere and great neighborhood? : they have that too. the prices are reasonable and I would gain weight if I lived nearbye... but it's so fun strolling around this area that perhaps I'd actually be healthier from all the walking (?) I adore Mexico City and the Mexican peoples. They stole my heart again, again.

Yelp
From where we were staying in La Condesa, we were about a 10 minute walk from this outpost of Panaderia Rosetta in Roma Norte. It's the quieter, smaller location and very easy. We arrived relatively early around 9 am and there was just a short line. The staff separated us into two lines: those waiting for a table to dine in and those taking items to-go. If we had wanted to dine-in, tables in the on-street dining area freed up quite quickly so that was totally reasonable option. We ordered just a few items. The signature Guava Roll, a Chocolate Hazelnut Berliner, the tomato focaccia, and orange juice. Everything was excellent. The juice was freshly squeezed. The pastry for the guava roll was flaky and light and the guava cheese filling was so fragrant. The tomato focaccia was one of the few savory items and it did not disappoint, with a tender airy bread and the sweet pops of sweet/savory tomato. The berliner was excellent too, but I considered it more of a dessert since it was so luscious with a chocolate cream filling. I particularly enjoyed the flaky wafer bits all over the top. We did a bit of bakery exploration while in CDMX so didn't return to Panaderia Rosetta but wish we did. I think their baked goods were the best we had.

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Best pastry spot in the city during my visit. We came 2x in a row because we loved it so much! Ordered the latte, cinnamon rolls, fig cream donut, guava pastry and Mille feuille slice and all were delicious. All reasonably priced too and fresh. Re ordered the guava pastry and Mille feuille. Difficult to get a table, but there are a few benches and you can grab and go!
google avatar

Selena Y.

Yelp
There's a reason why Panadería Rosetta is so iconic! All the baked goods are unique, fresh, and delicious, and nothing ever disappoints. My airbnb was near this bakery, and I enjoyed getting a coffee and pastry here almost every morning. Although this is a smaller location, there's still a a gorgeous selection of different baked goods to try. Some breads might sell out, so if there's something specific you want, I'd recommend going earlier. My top favorites are the guava roll, the tomato focaccia, and the rosemary sugar rolls. My friends loved the conchas for something a little sweeter.
google avatar

Tina V.

Yelp
Was walking distance from my stay so was able to stop by a few times. Always seems to be a line, but it moves super quick. Coffee was great and so many pastries to choose from. The donuts were so fluffy and delish.
google avatar

Ryna D.

Yelp
Who hasn't seen or heard about Rosetta? Even my husband who doesn't really follow food blogs and trends have heard of this place from friends. We had brunch here and felt it was good but perhaps a little over hyped. Either that, or we're simply blessed and spoiled by the abundance of excellent bakeries in LA.. My biggest complaint was that their coffee was mediocre. I literally had to ask for an extra shot to pour into my latte because the latte was way too milky for my liking.
google avatar

Vira P.

Yelp
The pastries are worth the wait. And if you like a crispier chilaquiles, then I think you'll like the ones served here. But just know you're going to wait at least an hour for a table during high traffic times. While we waited for a table, my friends and I stood in the to-go line to get pastries and coffee. I got a mocha and it was so delicious! It was chocolatey with a good balance of other spices. I also got their popular guava roll which I ate later. It was flakey and the guava was fresh. The cream cheese balanced with tartness. I read other reviews that it rivals the one at Porto's in LA, and I have to say it definitely does. I prefer Panadería Rosetta's. I ordered the chilaquiles and a ricotta/chocolate roll. I also wanted to try their blueberry focaccia, but unfortunately that wasn't available until later. Out of the many chilaquiles dishes I had during my time in CDMX, this one was my favorite. I now know that traditionally the tortilla chips are soggy, but I love that the ones served here were crispy. And the poblano sauce was savory and earthy. The ricotta/chocolate roll was slightly sweet, soft on the inside and a little crispy on the outside. And service is extremely friendly! The employees here have a lot of patience considering the long lines. If you can come here during the middle of the week, do it because it's more likely that there will be less people. But the weekends? Expect long lines. Even so, this bakery is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Roma Norte so you'll be enjoying the vibes. The bakery has mostly outdoor seating and lucky for us it was a perfect day where the temperature was just right. I definitely want to come back here to try more pastries.

Yelp
Came by around 10 for their famed concha and was able to grab the last one! It was a very nice concha but nothing I would consider writing home about. The guava pastry was delicious and not overwhelming a nice balance of dough and jam but the flavors I have definitely tasted before at SoCal panaderías. The most special treat was the cardamom roll which was absolutely delicious and had flavors I had not tasted in a pastry. I wish I could have brought a few home to share. The coffee was bleh. Service was curt not helpful as we navigated the extensive menu. It's a cute spot with coffee shop vibes. We had to sit on the benches to eat out treats.
google avatar

Art Por D.

Yelp
I'd want to take a few of these to the airport to make whoever sits next to me on the plane jealous of how great it smells. Also tasted amazing! Definite reorder.
google avatar

Roop K.

Yelp
A MUST. I get it get it it's viral but that guava roll is AMAZING. Tip they have a smaller place around the corner with less wait
google avatar

Sejal R.

Yelp
This place was so busy that the line wrapped around outside but it moved pretty quick. I thought it was hyped up. One of the breads I got were pretty hard.. it had raisin in it but was told it was chocolate. The cardamom roll was tasty. The hearts or ojos tasted kind of stale and the chocolate roll was pretty good. I saw some individuals get a pastry filled with ice cream and that looked reaaally good.
google avatar

Yenjiel G.

Yelp
@Iker: Excelente opción, seguro hay otras muy buenas pero si vienes de afuera y no te quieres complicar la vida esta es la mejor opción. La chef claudia es una crack
google avatar

Phuc B.

Yelp
got the guava pastry and espresso doble. pastry was ehh, someone coulda told me it was from safeway and Id believe them. no wait at this location.
google avatar

Briana C.

Yelp
I ordered two croissants integral con miel to go, and they were served straight out of the box. Meaning, they weren't necessarily baked here on site. That detail didn't affect the taste because they tasted fresh enough as if they were prepared this morning. This is a really small cafe, and I would have easily missed it, if not for the two groups of people seated on the street. There is one small bar table inside, and the rest of the seating is on their front patio deck located street side. The limited seating didn't much matter to me, because I was taking the croissants home for me and my boyfriend. I thought about ordering a green tea but I stopped myself because my boyfriend made us arroz con leche to go along with our croissants later on today.

Catalina A.

Yelp
This is a good bakery with quality food. They offer a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and so many types of bread that it's easy to get lost choosing. The coffee is good too. It's not really a place to sit and stay for long, unless you find a small table outside. One odd thing -- you can pay for bread with cash, but for coffee, you have to use a card. It's a bit strange, but overall still worth a visit.
google avatar

Marc A.

Yelp
Love the pastries and sandwiches. No wait at this bakery, unlike the other Rosetta bakery.
google avatar

Doreen T.

Yelp
The bakery line was super long and we got here at 7:30am. Luckily it was only about 20 mins to wait for a table for four. Our verdict here is just get the guava rolls and the concha bread! So deeee-licious! I have to admit the guava rolls are way better than Porto's and I can never go back. Sorry Porto's! Our friend end up buying 10 different pastries for the flight home. For entrees we shared some blossom quesadillas, turkey pesto sandwich, turkey croissant, and a tamale. Have to admit all the breakfast items we got were only okay, I'm not sure if it's because we keep ooooh-ing and aaaahh-ing over all the pastries. Was so sad this was our only chance to eat here and it was our last day. Definitely a repeater when we visit CDMX again.
google avatar

Frank W.

Yelp
Amazing food. The Hostess Sharon, super friendly and works with everyone. I want to gate keep this place but if you are in Mexico City stop by and tell Sharon Francisco sent you
google avatar

Oscar G.

Yelp
Tasty treats and friendly service. We had the guava danish, pan chocolate, among others. Went back twice on my trip : )
google avatar

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
The Guava croissant was very good. Small place. We tried to go earlier the next day to try their coffee but there was something going on and they had no power and we had to leave. It's out of their control, anyways, I'd love to come back and try more. They open earlier than other bakeries too.
google avatar

Stuti D.

Yelp
Very good bakery in a lovely neighborhood. The owner is a famous pastry chef. We came for breakfast
google avatar

Roxy A.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance, it's so cute and rustic. It will be very hard to find a spot on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Most people are standing outside ordering at the counter, and taking their food to-go. We took our coffee and pastries and ate them at a park nearby. It was such a nice breakfast! A table for two at around 11 a.m. had a 40 minute wait and it didn't seem worth it to us, especially given how chaotic it is (due to the people waiting for their to-go orders).
google avatar

Jean Y.

Yelp
The food is very good - not Mexican but European. French pastries and delicious sandwiches. We split a large BLT - so delicious and a sweet. Their fruit beverages are just as delicious. Great service and chill ambiance. This was the outpost bs. The OG location. We passed by it and there was a line halfway down the block. Luckily for us - something to do with hot water wasn't working so no lines.
google avatar

Cristina C.

Yelp
Cute little bakery that offers, codes, parties, and lunch. They have an outdoor patio and small seating inside. We got bread to bring to the US and if you buy 6 pieces you get to have a really thick to-go box. The guayaba roll is super delicious and I would highly recommend. The staff were very nice and really great in giving their recommendations. Go check them out if you're in the condesa area in Mexico City. Also, my bread arrived perfect in the box all the way back home.
google avatar

Austin G.

Yelp
After going to the main Panaderia Rosetta, it was fun to stumble upon this location near our apartment. Tucked away in a tiny space, there are a few tables along the street for patrons to enjoy their breakfast. They have all of their pastries on display, but I recommend the guava pastry. It's delicious! Their coffee menu is on point and my latte was one of the best I've had in CDMX!
google avatar

Cliff M.

Yelp
A fantastic find in the Condesa neighborhood. We really enjoyed sitting outside and eating some awesomely fresh pastries. We had a concha, guava roll, almond roll, and some coffee. All was fantastic. Service was great too -
google avatar

Ms. A.

Yelp
Rosetta was just what I was looking for on a brisk Sunday in the Roma neighborhood of Mexico City. The cafe is discreet, located in a beautiful tree-lined street in a residential neighborhood. The staff was attentive and the flaky, buttery, guava pastry melted in my mouth!

Nathali M.

Yelp
Chai was ok. Bread was amazing. I only knocked one star because the cashier was rude. He was not very friendly and that area is known for tourists and I expected better customer service.
google avatar

Sarina O.

Yelp
5 stars for the food and 4 stars because it was too busy and staff could've been friendlier! But still great guava roll and chocolate concha! Green juice was also so refreshing and tasty! You still have to go here because it's so good but be prepared for a wait or just get it to go and eat in on the standing bar area!
google avatar

Annie L.

Yelp
Believe the hype about Guayaba croissants. Literally the most amazing pastry I had in my entire time in CDMX. I went to the OG Panaderia Rosetta late in the afternoon so of course they ran out of the guayaba croissant. So I got a cardamom pastry and was not as impressed (actually, it really wasn't my flavor so I couldn't finish it). I came to the Juarez location around 9:30AM and got the last two guayaba pastries so my tip here is to go early. They also have oat milk for their lattes here, and it was the best flat white I had in my entire 10 days in MEX. Make this a must come on your list. And come early!
google avatar

Becca H.

Yelp
This place had really great pastries. The lines were crazy, took a little while to get seated. I recommend going on an off time. The pastries were large and can easily be shared. Got a savory and sweet pastries! I really liked the savory one. The service was great once we got seated - the gentleman was very helpful in deciding what to get!
google avatar

Priya M.

Yelp
This bakery lives up to the hype. My husband said it was the best baguette he's had in his life! We enjoyed the neighborhood and recommend the Polanco location which is less crowded.
google avatar

Vivian H.

Yelp
This sliver of a cafe bakery had a shocking array of pastries and though we were on our way to a large dinner, I couldn't resist indulging and chose the guava pastry.. you know the one. Don't think you can go wrong but wow. We went back the next day for more :)
google avatar

Patricia P.

Yelp
Cute + quaint bakery. Small spot to the very popular Panadería Rosetta. We stopped by on a Friday morning around 10am and I was worried there would be a long line and most items would be sold out... but to my surprise, there were only 2 people ahead of us in line and we were able to grab the items we wanted. We shared the guava cheese pastry, cinnamon bun, and an oat milk cappuccino. The guava cheese pastry was great. Lots of guava filling but enough cream cheese to balance out the sweetness of the guava. The cinnamon bun was soft! Almost like a cinnamon bun croissant. We decided to dine in so we found a table right out front, placed our order with one of the servers who then brought our items to us. We enjoyed our pastries + cappuccino before heading out for the rest of the day.
google avatar

Kolby G.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food. Incredible service. Everything is amazing. Quiche - 5/5 Turkey & Cheese Croissant - 5/5 Guava Pastry - 5/5 Super low key spot. Definitely the best location for baked goods in Mexico City. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Marissa L.

Yelp
Lovely little bakery! Very busy, but quick service and we were seated within 15 mins. We ordered the guava pastry, the ricotta and chocolate, the goat cheese/turkey/hazelnut ciabatta sandwich, a flat white and a hot chocolate. The drinks were pretty standard, flat white had too much foam but we appreciated the latte art on the hot chocolate. Sandwich was simple but delicious and pastries were tasty. Nice ambience too. Would recommend!
google avatar

Veronica P.

Yelp
I was not super impressed with the quality of the food and many items were sold out. As I was leaving, I saw a giant cockroach walking around inside
google avatar

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Went to the grab and go area. So many fresh pastries that are definitely high quality. We got this mamey donut and an almond/but pastry. I was OBSESSED with that donut. Pastry cream + mamey filling. Reminds me a little of those Asian almond cookies!

Hannah S.

Yelp
I loved everything about this place. It's cute, the service was good, the food was amazing. I would recommend it to other and will be back on my next visit to Mexico City. Anticipate a wait, but it is worth it. We went in the morning for brunch and came back in the evening for the soft serve.
google avatar

Maribel M.

Yelp
I tried their hot chocolate and puerquito. I loved the puerquito (pan dulce). My dad had pan de elote and he loved it too. My sister tried their guava roll and said it was amazing! We also tried their quiche and it was very good. The employees are very friendly. It is a very aesthetically pleasing cafe. They have tables outside and benches but inside they also have a couple of stools. We got there around 8 and there were around 3 people in front of us. I highly recommend this place when you visit CDMX
google avatar

Anadelia E.

Yelp
Everything was great from food to service!!! Would recommend to anyone going to visit Mexico City. Must try their atole de pina.
google avatar

Melinda S.

Yelp
The bakery was delicious. The coffee was delicious. I had a chocolate croissant, an elephant ear and a muffin w/ raisins. ALL were lovely and I will go back!
