Panamonte Inn & Spa

The perfect hotel if you are a lover of boutique hotel with personality. The colonial style made it so charming. Every detail is thought through from the old pictures, to the decor, the nice fireplace and elegant restaurant. The location is perfect, you can easily walk to the centre and also access restaurants around yet just away from the noise. The breaksfast is delicious with different options. We also had dinner once there and food was really nice. Sadly we didn’t have time to try the spa, maybe next time :)

10/10 stay - I would come back here every time I visit Boquete. The location is great and the customer service is even better. The Panamonte is a beautiful boutique hotel with a long family history - the grandson of the owners still runs the hotel and is the head chef. The grounds are lush and pristine and every detail in the hotel is so thoughtful. The front desk staff had incredible customer service - they helped us book a next day volcano tour, booked in room massages for us (highly recommend) and coordinated our transport from the airport. Ahead of our stay, they sent over information on highly rated activities. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant; we sat on the beautiful porch, had the mostly lovely waitress who told us about the hotel history and the food was great as well. They have a selection of house made jams in the restaurant for purchase that we bought as gifts. The hotel is undergoing some expansions, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. I can’t wait to come back in a few years and see how this beautiful place has expanded even more, but still keeps its charm.

I haven't been to the hotel. I ate at their restaurant, their are under some major renovations which can make the place a little noise during the day. The food and their service are just fantastic.

I loved my stayat Hotel Panamonte, the front desk staff were outstanding. The resturant staff were okay. The gentleman who attended to me at breakfast my first day was great, but the others not so much. Very difficult to get their attention despite only a few customers in the house. I was so thirsty and could not get their attention to order something to drink.||Still my spacious clean room, the lovely grounds and decor, made my stay very relaxing and totally enjoyable. I will definitely return. Construction was underway on the grounds, but it was remarkable how disturbance was minimal.||One suggestion - have a list of hotel services in the room. I needed some clothes laundered but as there was no laundry bag or info in the room, I assumed it was not a service the hotel offered. The day I was checking out I enquired where to go to get this done in town. The receptionist said the hotel offers the service, but of course it was too late to have it done that day. Had I known, I would have had it done when I arrived.||Many thanks.||Catalina

What a lovely hotel! Really this hotel scores on all fronts. The restaurant food was delicious, with knowledgeable staff and rooms that were modern and spacious whilst clinging on to the period feel deserving of this building. The concierge service care pre arrival was fabulous and reception staff very welcoming. I'd strongly recommend the Panamonte to anyone visiting the area.

Even though a nice, older hotel with large suites and a nice garden to look out onto our 3 day stay in April was spoiled by ongoing construction (8am - 6pm) EVERY DAY. If we had known there was construction we would not have stayed here. We had some nice meals in the restaurant but wait staff for breakfast were a bit frosty. They also need to decide what they're honouring with their free drinks coupon. The first time we were allowed to order anything the second time the waitress told us just the items on the drinks list but when the bill came she had charged us. She then said it had to be one of two liquors only. No tip for her!!

Very quaint, older hotel, rooms are along the yard/garden. Rooms were spacious, comfortable. Late in the evening or early morning, sit outside and enjoy the view, fresh air. Good breakfast. However, I would say that dinner was the best meal.

A truly lovely hotel on a scenic wooded property close to the town of Boquete. Our room was large & very comfortable and overlooked one of their gardens. The service was friendly and excellent everywhere. And the food outstanding. We will definitely return!
