Panayiotis Governor's Beach

Absolutely fantastic experience at Panayiotis Governor’s Beach Restaurant! We had the fish meze, and it was truly amazing — everything was fresh, full of flavor, and great value for money. The variety and quality of the dishes were exceptional, and the service was friendly and attentive. Sitting right next to the sea made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh seafood and a beautiful seaside atmosphere!

We came to this restaurant 5 times during our 10 day stay! The food is genuinely good, rustic and non fancy. Fresh fish, tasty salads and fries. Host is a friendliest old man, he kept offering free juices for my children and even gave us a bottle of his wine as a gift. I definitely recommend this place!

Lovely restaurant where you can have a meal overlooking the beautiful beach below! The food was delicious and fresh, and the owner was very sweet and accommodating. The menu is marked for allergens too. I would highly recommend visiting!

The location and the owner Mr. Panayiotis is the best representation of locals! Friendly, ready to communicate, help and offer the best service! If you are looking for fanciness Limassol is the best option, but if you are looking calmness, relaxation, genuine locals and good food serving quantity with quality this is your place and with an amazing view! Food meze served all in two platters rather than separately for each kind. Not bad. Usual quality for price and place. Very nice sea view. (Will not give 5 stars again unless reviewed is a star)

We stumbled upon this restaurant whilst driving back from a day visit to Limassol. Just off the main road, the place looked very quiet/disused from the front entrance but when we walked through the gardens we were met with a lovely view from the cliff tops and an awesome restaurant run by the friendliest people. |We recommend the Moussaka, as it was fresh made that morning and was baked in a ceramic dish but I’m sure everything on their menu will be delicious! They gave us a taste of their homemade cake and that was moist and fresh too! So kind, chatty and a really relaxed atmosphere. Could have sat there all day! |There are rooms to rent and a lovely little beach to sit on away from all the main resort hustle and bustle. It was just what we were looking for that day and hopefully we can return on our next holiday in 2026!

It is not possible to write a comment only for the small restaurant next to the pension. I will write the information about the restaurant only. It is small, the service is very slow. The view is beautiful, but it is very windy, so the sand will be in your head/eyes/food. The food itself is not so bad, for people who likes to eat fish with the bones, otherwise it is not your place. The prices are ok, since it is only one place to buy water/drinks/ice cream next to the beach, you have no choice.

We had breakfast at the restaurant. It was a beautiful experience. Not just the amazing view and delicious food, but also the friendly and nice people of the place. The restaurant owner is really nice and friendly, and he recommended and wrote an entire schedule for us so we can travel and get to experience cyprus to the maximum!
