Truly, no trip to Cabo is complete without a trip to Pancho’s! Been coming here since I was a teenager and not only does it never disappoint but each time reminds me why it’s a can’t miss. My husband has fallen in love with the mole, the tamales for me, and we never leave without a bottle of tequila…the extra anejo is out of this world! Do yourself a favor and visit Pancho’s, you won’t be disappointed!!! Jose and Santos, thank you for your hospitality, can’t wait to see you again!

We staggered into Pancho’s our 1st night in Cabo with only 2 hours of sleep but wanting to try it based on reviews we’d read. The place did NOT disappoint! We sat at the bar where Carlos waited on us. First Carlos prepared guacamole to our specifications. It came with pico, another salsa and of course chips, and it was all perfect. Then we shared a tequila tasting, demonstrated by Gilberto. We learned so much about the nuances in different types of tequila and how to drink it to fully appreciate its complexities. Finished with a meal, the roasted pork which we’d read about and was as good as we’d read about, and the chicken mole which was terrific, too. So glad we went, and we can’t recommend Carlos and Gilberto highly enough.

Service was great! We were recommended this place by a friend. Friend really enjoyed the steak and said they would definitely come back. 15% off when using cash. Total came to $100.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pancho's in Cabo, and it was an exceptional experience. The salsa at Pancho's is hands down the best I've ever had – it's a perfect blend of freshness, sweetness, and just the right amount of spice. The chips were delightfully crisp, and the guacamole was a delicious complement to the meal. One unique highlight was being able to watch the tortillas being made right before our eyes. The freshness and authenticity added a special touch to our already delightful meal. Pancho's truly offers a fantastic combination of flavors and an authentic Mexican dining experience. Five stars without a doubt!

Fantastic, the red snapper, chiken, ribs,and steak grilled platter were excellent. All grilled to perfection. The flavor of mesquite grill finished the meals to perfection.The chicken fahita was as good as any in the city. The homemade tortillas were very good.Service was prompt and efficient. A must visit while in Cabo.

So my review of this place is 50/50. My reason for that is because I personally LOVED it, and my father did not. He had a seafood meal and he said he didn’t like it that much. This is my meal, the steak and oh wow. It was just amazing. Cooked perfectly, the sides were amazing as well. This was one of my favourite meals in Cabo. Personally, I recommend going here because I loved it. But I guess it’s not for everybody! But I highly highly recommend the steak from here, it’s amazing.

A FOODIE’S TREAT TO AN OUTSTANDING TRADITIONAL MEXICAN DINNER😎😎😎😎😎. The whole place exudes Mexican fiesta and hospitality. It’s most impressive to see a wait staff of “mature” and very amiable people who are conversant in both Español and English. 👏👏👏👏👏 The menu is truly authentic Mexican, the server knows the entire menu and does make excellent recommendations 😎😎😎. — Panchos listings are certainly not the common, often terrible, TexMex or CalMex that pervades America. Oh, such non-authentic foods are also in many eateries here in Cabo. Most notable: tortillas are made in-house by a lovely cook on her station by the entrance. The kitchen is also an open view, with 2-3 cooks on their toes. 😎😎😎😎😎. The La Gringa Pulpo Tacos are truly unique. Not the usual handheld tacos, more like savory “crepe” : crispy paper thin corn tortilla filled with queso and octopus…🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃. As expected, the guacamole is freshly made simple ingredients (avocado, onion, cilantro and tomato), served on lettuce rib and a dash of queso 👍👍👍. The Pièce de la résistance: Chamorro🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. A large portion of pork shank, slow braised in spices, Mexican red wine and Salsa boracha … it’s heavenly. Cerveza Negra (dark beer) surprisingly paired so very well with the pork 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺. Service is outstanding. The server is attentive without becoming obliging or pushy. 👏👏👏

We stopped by this place to some tequila and ended up ordering food because the menu looked good. We had the made at the table guacamole and the chamorro. Good amount of food. Definitely shareable. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean.

The food and service were excellent. Our waiter Gilberto recommended dishes and an excellent yet less expensive Tequila which we all enjoyed. I had the molè, everyone else had different Tacos. Also the tables idea guacamole was delicious.

The actual menu was not even close to their online menu. My Imperial Shrimp was fine, but my wife's chicken enchilada was way too salty. Service was fine.

It is by far our favorite restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for absolutely the greatest Mexican cuisine! We travel to this resort town two to three times a year for a two-week stay. The service is superb and the waiters are beginning to know us like the staff of Secrets resort in San Jose del Cabo. They have the most authentic cultural decor. Be sure to check out the many tequilas especially the one with the rattle snake in the bottle. See you soon, amigos!

Don't let the bright pink exterior fool you. The food here is good and the drinks strong. The grilled meats were really tasty. Little tip: Paying in cash will get you a discount.

We booked an all-inclusive trip to Cano San Lucas, but we would have been remiss if we sis not try some local dining options. While on the hunt, we ran across Pancho's & boy it did not disappoint! We arrived around 1300, & they promptly invited us in! Seating: There is outdoor & indoor searing. The dining area is covered, so you could technically say it was "indoor seating". They sat us down & promptly placed two fans on either side of us for air flow. Ambiance: We were their first customers of the day, so it was quiet. Some of their employees were just showing up for their shifts! Some mariachis came by, but we politely declined. Food: This is clearly the most important part! Here is what we ordered: -Tableside Guacamole (1.5 avocados, tomato, onion, cilantro & serrano pepper ***We could have ordered without tableside prep, but it was nice seeing them make it. What I will say is the guacamole needed a touch of salt, but it is probably what I am used to. It still tasted amazing as prepped. Additionally, the serrano added some nice heat, which was a nice touch! -Asada Street Tacos ***You cannot go wrong with an asada street taco! There was a nice serving of asada in both tacos & it did not disappoint. I probably could have easily eaten two more! The asada was seasoned to perfection, & they also brought out two different hot sauces to pair with the tacos...one was red & spicy while the other was a green sauce that was less spicy. Both were equally good. -Shrimp Baja Style Tacos ***This order contained 4 tacos with a generous helping of shrimp. Separately, there was guacamole, onions, cilantro lettuce, tomatoes & limes to dress your taco however you wanted it. This was such an incredible simply because there was so much shrimp on each taco. The conclusion is if you are seeking authentic eats in Cabo San Lucas, you must come here for one meal! The everything we ordered was incredible & the service was excellent! You will not regret

Outstanding. If you don't try it, you don't know what you are missing. OuOutstanding Marquette. And the food is wonderful. I'll be back. In January, I can't wait. Outstanding service and price is not bad for what you get. This is a place you must try when you're in Cabo.

Decent food and service at a reasonable price. Huge tequila selection. We had better dinners in Cabo but this was OK. The mole was a bit cloying but the guacamole and tequila were excellent.

Pancho's is our home away from home when we visit Cabo! It's our go-to for delicious classic Mexican food. We usually start with a shot of Rattlesnake Tequila for our arthritis. Drinks are splendid, service just right, atmosphere just fine. Rey cheerfully valet parks our car. Tequila Tasting with Jose was a highlight. The Chicken Mole' is superb. When we're not so hungry, and ask for just the Lobster with vegetables, it's no problem. Chef Raul on the grill is a rock star! Sammy found us the Tequila we requested. We simply have never had any negative experiences at Pancho's!

Always a great time at Panchos, and this visit even more so because of the tequila tasting with Jose! So glad we reserved time to learn a little about tequila with Jose. You can select the quality level of tasting ($35,$45,$65 or $95 per person) but the lesson remains the same. Completely entertained by Jose and his crew (Sammy and Rodrigo) and the anejo selection was awesome! Loved our meal afterwards as well- Chicken mole with the perfect amount of heat and a real depth of flavor. Every time our crew visits Cabo, a reservation at Panchos is a must!

Adding to my list of places to visit when in Cabo! Food is DELICIOUS!!!! Margaritas are excellent! Service is fantastic! Highly recommend- live music too! One of my favorite restaurants in the world. So fantastic and fun. The carnitas was amazing. Margs great. Good for kids.

Food was very authentic, tequila recommendations and pairing perfect and service was very friendly. Had the handmade tortillas with queso and enchiladas with mole sauce. Had a mariachi trio serenading the restaurant. Very lively, colorful and fun!

I was in the mood for chicken mole enchiladas and decided to give Pancho's a try. Good choice! A weeknight in Covid-19 November 2020, found a pretty empty restaurant. Good for us, bad for the restaurant as we got very good, personalized service. The restaurant is probably pretty busy in "normal" times. So, how were my chicken mole enchiladas? Excellent! My dining companions enjoyed their meals too. Pancho's has a fun atmosphere and I'm sure gets quite festive when it's busy. Great food, friendly service and a fun vibe. I'll definitely return next time I'm in town. 4.75 stars

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW I was celebrating my Birthday we found this little by accident so the wife and I said why not let me start by saying iI am not into tourist traps im just into Good food.This place will throw u off its a hole in the wall,but dont he fooled dont judge the book by the cover Drinks made well we had large pina colada,large beer and large margarita all good Appetizers we actually had 3 apps good Guac 2 orders of the coconut shrimp OMG the shrimp where huge ot came with 3 per order Main meals i had the short ribs which reminded me of a tomahawk steak and wife had the tamales with Mole sauce the shorts ribs where the best iv had in my life very flavorful and you could cut with a spoon with no effort..needless to say we ordered way to much and the bill was still under $120 Service was A-plus All around great meal dont hesitate go visit them

One of the best dinners i have had in Cabo. Absolutely beautiful inside with all the different colored tables. The servers were all very friendly, and recommend some great specials of the day. They hand-mixed a house margarita in front of us, which was simple yet tasty. There was even a mariachi band that came over to serenade us. The food was great, the fish was probably my favorite.

After tendering ashore, Diane and I quickly jumped aboard a bicycle taxi for the sole purpose of lunching again here. And this time, we got the Steak Nachos, which were excellent, along with very fine, smooth Guac to go with outstanding crisp homemade Tortilla Chips. A Deep-Fried Shredded Beef Taco made with a Corn Tortilla was good but with somewhat frizzy meat, as somewhat expected but sought by me anyway. In contrast, another Shredded Beef Taco that was not deep fried and utilized a Flour Tortilla and marinated beef tasted very good. Smooth Refritos and fine Mexican Rice with carrots rounded out my custom combination plate. Meanwhile, Diane enjoyed a cheese only section of the Nachos created specially for her, as well as Deep-Fried Fish & Chips. Pancho's remains a solid authentic Mexican eatery.

We have been coming to Pancho's for many years. One of the staples of Cabo, with great food and tequila. If you want authentic Mexican food including the standard food and seafood, come here.

Stopped here for a light breakfast right before we left for the airport. Service was rather slow and the not so complicated order of ours took a while to arrive. Decor is bright and colorful. We shared a Mexican breakfast consisting of a fried egg over tortilla and salsa, side of potatoes, fruit and flour tortillas. They also brought in a plate of salsa and condiments to go with the order. The house potatoes were very flavorful and the tortillas were piping hot, fresh and super soft.

We had the Best dinner in Cabo at Panchos!! The guacamole was AMAZING!!! Jose is the best server!! Service and food was great we will definitely be back!!!

Some of the best and freshest ceviche I've ever had! Great guacamole as well and made table side. I had the mole as an entree. It was extremely flavorful and tender. I think in the future I would do the mole enchiladas to better breakup the flavor as it was a tad heavy.

We had a delicious and inexpensive meal here. We loved the table side guacamole which was just delicious. The waiter was very attentive to our needs. Located in a fun and scenic part of town which allowed us to walk to Cabo Wabo's afterwards.

Best huanchinango I've ever had. Warm drawn butter, curry infused fried rice! We'll made margaritas. An AC room to the left of entrance! Great service. No wonder we keep going back! Gracias!!

The first night I got to Cabo this is where my family took me. It's pretty much your typical Mexican restaurant. They serve a very tasty queso fundido and the guacamole is about as good as I've had. I ordered the arrachera and it was flavorful and very tender. I had never heard of the tequila the guy serve me but it tasted very good also. Expect to pay American prices.

Gilberto is the best bartender In the world. Most amazing environment created by him. Can't recommend it highly enough

Overrated!! Not sure where the 4.5 star came from. Pescado el parrilla-watery, no taste at all Mango margarita-worse i ever taste Paid $75 for dinner for something taste much better in US.

I just stopped in to play tourist and try the rattlesnake tequila...but I ordered the tequila tasting and got quite the education from Jose. It was an hour that I will not forget. Jose is a tequila expert and this was his master class. If you want to know what tequila is all about. Spend the time spend the money and leave Cabo a tequila expert...for your town. Jose is the expert for Cabo. Oh and try a shot of the rattlesnake tequila...just because...it is effiing rattlesnake tequila!

So much fun. Food was excellent. The Mole sauce on chicken enchilada was delicious. But the tequila tasting with Jose was the most fun. It's expensive, but so enlightening- I never knew to pair chocolate ice cream with certain types of tequila! The band was also fun. The loud, drunk "Karen" from Long Island, NY was a distraction, but the staff handled her professionally.

Kind of disappointing. We had table side guac that was bland. The chips were almost rock hard. My fajitas were good and the meat was tender. The only thing that surprised us was the prices were comparable to the U.S. It's unlikely we'll return in the future.

Pancho's is the perfect setting in Cabo for an authentic Mexican meal in a festive, casual atmosphere. Their bar is beautiful! Their house Margarita is made with quality Tequila and ingredients. No mix here. We enjoyed Fish Ceviche, Chicken Enchiladas with both red and green sauce (Christmas, ya know) and Grilled Filet of Fish with Mango Sauce. Yummy! Everything was wonderful. Thanks, Mario and Gilberto, for a treasured dining experience!

Great food, very good prices. Definitely worth the trek slightly off the beaten path for this authentic restaurant with top notch service. You will pay less than half the price for a meal that is at least twice as good as what you'd find near the marina

We did not eat here but did the tequila tasting. Highly recommend! He took us on a tour of tequila and we had a high quality tasting that was about really appreciating the tequila. We felt like we learned a lot! And of course we got to drink some good tequila.

One if the best in Cabo. Get the Tortilla soup, and the tequila flight is so much work the money and time. We have been coming here for years and will keep coming back.

I haven't been in about 7 years but it was the same excellent service and food we remember! So glad to be back in Cabo, and enjoying our favorite spots. This place has a wonderful charm to it with the open air feel, view of the grill, and smiling and attentive staff.

I really had a remarkable experience at Panchos. He gave the best class on Tequilla and tasting of fine Tequillas! Plan for about 20 min and he will dazle your taste buds with fine Tequilla and then bite into something unique to follow through with an after taste. I really appreciated his passion about the subject, he presented from a booklet with pictures. Dinner was excellent as well, I loved the Mole.

My best friend and I met in Cabo to celebrate our big milestone birthdays. I booked a tequila tasting and it exceeded our expectations. Don't expect this to be quick. Gilberto was our tequila expert. He went through all the history of tequilas. Be prepared to taste and listen to the history and stories for about an hour to an hour and a half. He was very knowledgeable and it's not a tasting for you to get drunk but for you to appreciate sipping and drinking tequila. They found out we were there for our birthdays and they sang and snapped pics and brought a yummy dessert. The food was also excellent although we were pretty stuffed from the chips and salsa. Mario was the manager or owner (I can't remember) and he was such a delight. So respectful and made sure we had a great experience there. I highly recommend Poncho's! Can't wait to take my husband there for a tasting.

I've been in a resort since the last Saturday of 2018. Pancho's food is so authentic and delicious. This was the best experience to have traditional Mexican food. Thank you, so much to the staff and manager for accommodating us so late.

Best Cabo experience ever!!!! My husband and I decided to do the tequila testing and we learned so much! Jose led the entire tequila lecture and we learned so much. We don't need lime and salt to enjoy tequila. We also got certificates for learning the different types of tequilas that are preferred. Definitely ask for Jose!!!! Update!!! The food was also amazing!!! Great service. Awesome place altogether. Love love love.

We are in Cabo for my bachelorette party and wanted to do a tequila tasting. We decided on Pancho's and we were not disappointed! Jose, our tequila connoisseur, was a blast! He taught us about all kinds of tequila and paired them perfectly. Jose was not only knowledgeable but also super fun and made it a great way to start the trip! My only suggestion is to order some chips or apps before you start, the pours are heavy for an empty stomach.

Tim 1 week ago Did a Tequila tasting for 3 close friend's 40th. Jose did the tasting. Totally awesome experience and a totally awesome brother. I have a new found love for good Tequila. I now know it' not for shots, ahhhh the days when you were young... But to savor the taste, aroma and what goes into each bottle, made the experience perfect. And the food is damn awesome to. Watch out for the Habenaro sauce. It is not for the meek.

We have been going to Cabo for 25 years. After having a bad meal 10 years ago, we avoided Pancho's.... until last year when we went with a big group of 30 people who all wanted to go - and had an excellent meal. We decided to go again (this time with about 20 people) and were completely disappointed. The lobster tails were under cooked and the margaritas were mis-represented. In otherwords: we wanted a single and he said a double was only a few dollars more. They were more than a few dollars more and when we asked about the difference, our waiter gave us a hard time. Over maybe $10. The point of this is our group had spent well over $600 and had we asked when we were seated if they would cover the first round, they would have. When we felt slighted by the overcharge, he should have just taken off $10 and we all would have been happy, he would have gotten a better tip and maybe we would give them another shot next year. Maybe I will try them again.... in 10 years after they sell out again.
